This version of the Nudie Jeans Steady Eddie II is a regular fit jeans with a tapered leg in a denim fabric that stays black. The Everblack fabric by Nudie Jeans is made to keep its color as long as possible. It can withstand 40 or more washes without any noticeable loss of color. To optimize the denim for fit, these jeans have been rinsed, making the Nudie Jeans Steady Eddie II stretchy and soft. If you're looking for a pair of pitch black jeans that won't fade, you've found the right model here.

The difference between Everblack and other black denim is as follows:
Normally, when denim is dyed, some of the dye is absorbed into the cotton fibers, while the rest just remains bound to the surface of the yarns. This is what gives denim its ageing properties, which are highly sought after in many cases. When it comes to black jeans, however, this is not always the case, which is why Nudie Jeans have developed Everblack denim. The technical difference between Everblack and regular black denim is that Everblack uses a method and type of dye that allows for improved absorption as well as stronger fixation. The result is denim with a significantly higher color fastness that does not fade when worn and washed.

The Nudie Jeans Steady Eddie II denim pants are equipped with the following features:

• 5-pocket denim construction
• branded button fly
• 2 front pockets plus coin pocket at wearer's right
• branded metal rivets at front pockets
• Nudie Jeans jacron faux leather label on the rear of the waistband
• 2 self-fabric patch pockets with signature wavy stitching at the rear
• Nudie Jeans woven mini label on right rear pocket
• bar-tack stitching at vital stress points
• tone on tone stitching
• mid waist, tapered legs with slim leg openings
• regular fit
• 100% organic cotton rigid denim, 11.2 oz
• made in Italy

Established in Japan in 1947, Edwin founder K.K. Tsunemi had a passion for denim pants, which inspired him to import them directly from the United States as no denim was manufactured in Japan at that time. Used, worn-out and dirty denim which had to be laundered and mended by hand in order to sell on to his customers. In 1961 Mr. Tsunemi crafted the first pair of Edwin denim jeans; utilizing the letters D, E, N, I plus M (reversing the M creating a W), he created the brand name Edwin. By 1963 Edwin had produced the world’s heaviest ring-spun denim jeans (16 oz), featuring the famous three-color rainbow selvedge, which is still being used today. In the 1970s, Edwin were the first company in the world to develop old wash designed to replicate denim which have been worn from its rigid, unwashed state traditionally designed for workwear due to its durability. In the 1980s, Edwin revolutionized the whole denim world by inventing the process of stone washing. Nowadays, Edwin offers some of the most wanted vintage denim pants and uses exclusive fabrics and fabrication, unique technology, hand wash processes, and continual progression in design and fit. Inspired by the classic ED-47 five pocket construction, the ED-47 Regular Straight Denim Pants are equipped with features such as a branded front center button, a button fly, an off-centered Edwin leather label at the rear of the waistband, a back yoke, signature stitching on back pockets, contrast stitching as well as metal rivets or bartack stitching at vital stress points.
