This number reminds to the morning hour when the alarm rings, so this new Tebel's one talks about the feeling had by contemporary wage-labour workers and specifically to the inner-crisis each one of them feels because of his everyday bad condition of living but in the last part of the song the lyric reaches the form of a freedom chant praised by the community of the people who works for an emancipation. The message 7.05 finally would bring is to stand out different meanings the word "work" could assume and the difference between the concept of a mechanical work and a creative one. For us is a big pleasure to work together with Claudio AKA Abeng , other than a long time friend is a great musician with a deep Ska , Rocksteady & Roots Knowledge , we have been asking him a riddim which we could use for an instrumental and that's the 1st of the few we are working on right now (Yes we love instrumentals!)! It's always a pleasure to open new cooperations , have new musicians and studios playing together to create Roots Music! Rootikal Horns is the horn section of an historical Reggae Band from our area (Countryside of Milano) , Rootical Foundation , Gabri (Trombone) & Filippo (Sax) came to studio with us and we recorded few lines that will appear in a number of future releases. Obviously from this meeting , some more seeds has been planted and hopefully flowers will appear probably in the early 2021... Eeyun Purkins at Waggle Dance Studio, made a great job mixing the A side and Dubbing the B side! Many of you may already know this name ;) , founder of the Co-Operators and of the Waggle Dance Studio/Records have delivered a number of killer Roots productions in the last months and years , that's the 1st of a number of projects we have been working on during Lockdown Period , expect some Fyah Roots music from this Roots Heads meeting!

Mennesker, named after a Nordic Rune, means man, people or mankind.

Danish dub is dark and deep, like the cold Nordic winters. With bass deeper than Mimer’s Well, militant rhythms harder than the Einherjer of Valhal, and never-ending echoes from beyond Ni heim.

2000F is the postal code of Frederik Birket-Smith’s hometown of Frederiks-berg. Since the early 1990s he has worked under the alias as producer, composer, promoter and DJ. He is now the CEO of Strøm, Denmark’s official electronic music organisation, co-owner of the Jolene Bar club, the event organisation OHOI!, and the Fyraftensboogie sound system.

We proudly present to you our new vinyl release, Subactive strikes with their first 12” on our imprint. After the first 7” release with the legendary Mikey Murka, Subactive now teams up with El Fata and Danny Dread on the vocals and a mad Dub Version from Naram and Art out of Jahtari and Colonel Mustard.

Side A features El Fata on a relick of the Run Run Riddim, a modern digital style with fat basslines and melodic progression chords that will shake up the dancefloor. The dub version comes in a very different style and influenced by the German down-tempo dub culture.

On the B side we can find the veteran Danny Dread with his conscious lyrics and a dub version by Naram which is heavily influenced by Asian and Arabic sounds. This is a limited edition of 500 copies with our first full print sleeve.

Emotional Rescue and HMV Record Shop (Japan) present the 2nd Disco Reggae Lovers with the music of Haile Maskel and his 101 Band and their cult Jamaica meets America reggae disco bomb Crazy Kind Of Feeling, in it's super rare 7" Mix. Heralding from the furtive 60's Trenchtown, Jamaica, Michael Ashley aka Haile Maskel grew up around music, recording his first sessions with friend Bob Marley, alongside the likes of Peter Tosh, Robbie Shakespeare and Carlton Barrett. Working with Lee Perry, he joined Light Of Saba, while touring with Dennis Brown and Sugar Minott led him overseas, settling in Los Angeles in 1983 and soon launching his Opulence (Sound) label. The label's in house project, Maskel's 101 Band mixed a conscious message in love song, crafted around a boogie discodub. Coming as 7" and 12" (erc101) releases, here the single is presented alongside the true dub version. Dub Take 2 was discovered when the original master tapes were recently unearthed and while the recent 12" reissue featured an "instrumental alternative mix", Dub Take 1, this 7" includes a real dub version, cutting and dropping back and forth between drums, bass, key, vocals and horns in a cool excursion for the heads.
