Foreign Correspondent is dropping their second single, "Sonnets for a Serviette", on December 7th, marking their first release in two years. Their debut single "The First One", released in December 2020 under the blue-very label, became a long-standing favorite among mellow indie-pop fans, particularly those fond of Prefab Sprout's sound.

This second single builds on that success with an even smoother, more refined sound, deepening the mellow atmosphere and exuding an urban sophistication reminiscent of their peers, like Mr. & Mrs. Muffins. "Tea With Sugar" features Noah Wilson from Muffins in the arrangement, adding a rich layer to the track. On B1 "Pacific Detailers", Japanese artist Yuko Iizumi from microstar lends her backing vocals, connecting the single to the legacy of city pop with its modern twist.
