Dee Dee Ramone I.C.L.C. (Inter-Celestial Light Commune) was formed by Dee Dee and John Carco in 1994 in New York City. After several live shows and drummers as a the three piece line up the two members decided to move to Amsterdam to record for Rough Trade Records. The four-song EP Chinese Bitch and the album I Hate Freaks Like You were both released in 1994. The band toured 22 countries in a 10-month period and they never toured in the U.S. This set in Scotland catch the big energy, some of The Ramones tracks are slower or even longer than the original versions and Dee Dee plays a wonderful version of Poison Heart all alone.

In the Fall of the year 2000, Huntingtons were touring Europe for the first time, opening up for Marky Ramone. Of all the many great European bands to jump on those shows, there was one who left a lasting impression on the guys: The Travoltas. With a unique style of mixing Beach Boys harmonies with "Ramones-core" (a term that wasn't even used yet), they were right up their alley. Josh stayed in touch with singer Perry Leenhouts over the years, with hopes to join forces again someday, either on tour or a split record. 20+ years go by.. no luck again.. until now! Its crazy to think about, but this split is literally 20+ years in the making. Between band breakups, getting back together, moving around the world, and finally, delay after delay from LP manufacturing plants, it was truly a "Rock 'N' Roll Universal International Problem". Erik Nervous (aka Erik Hart to his folks) has produced at least an EP a year since 2015, releasing his music on a long list of American indies, such as Warm Ratio, Total Punk, Neck Chop, Lumpy, and Digital Regress. There was a short break for the Covid-19 pandemic, but even then, Erik hooked up with two friends, as the Beta Blockers. Erik also happens to be one of the top punk recording engineers in the Midwest and has been playing synth in the Spits since 2021. Immaturity marks the return of Erik Nervous as a solo artist. The thirty-nine minute long playing rock album will be co-released by FatCat (uk) and Feel It (us) on November 3, 2023. Most of Immaturity was written, as it was recorded, in the basement of Erik’s rural North Eastern Indiana home—the same house he’s lived all his life. The title of the record reflects Erik’s refusal to grow up. Song subjects range from anxiety to astral projection. A big fan of fellow self-taught “outsider” artists, and the DIY ethic, Erik’s sonic armoury contains yellowed plastic Casiotones, Yamaha Portasounds, and a smiling cat-shaped Meowsic keyboard, all purchased from yard sales, Goodwills, and misspelled eBay auctions. These, and a Tyco toy guitar all add to the album’s nostalgic retreat back into a treasured childhood, and its overall irresistible, enthusiasm-packed, perhaps tongue-in-cheek, joyful punch. However, don’t let the self-depreciating playfulness fool you. Erik is totally schooled, and has serious chops.

At long last, the complete back catalog of influential UK political punks The Restarts will be widely available across the world, starting with their earliest recordings! Actively Seeking Work: 1996-1998 collects the studio recordings of the band from their very inception. It all began with a DIY cassette tape released in 1996, which was - to the band's pleasant surprise - reproduced around the Czech Republic and Poland, translated lyric sheet and all, by Malarie Records. Also included on this LP are the tracks from their debut 7" Frustration and the 1997 EP ...Just Gets Worse, both of which saw vinyl releases through Blind Destruction Records. The final batch of songs comes from State Rape, which was originally the Restarts' half of a split LP with London's Zero Tolerance, and was subsequently released on CD as a split with Holland's Fleas and Lice. Taken together, these recordings chart the early chaotic evolution of the band as they built the reputation and recognition they now enjoy among the international DIY punk scene. This collection has been out of print for over ten years after an initial Europe-only pressing, and Pirates Press Records is thrilled to present its first worldwide release as the opening salvo of a four LP Restarts reissue campaign that will bring their full discography back in print with wide distribution for the first time!

Skingraft was a band from Rochester, New York who made jarring, technical, irregular death metal. Three teenagers who spent the frigid, upstate winters mastering arcane scales and double bass patterns, their elaborate, dynamic songs pair howls and blast beats with brooding, minor-key melodies and deviant rhythms. Picture the bludgeon of Entombed's "Left Hand Path," the shattered glass frequencies of Godflesh's "Streetcleaner," and the destabilization of "Remain Sedate" by Roschach. Skingraft recorded these two songs at Rochester's famed Dajhelon Studios during their junior year of high school. Released on the 30th anniversary of this recording session, this 7-inch is the first time these songs have been made publicly available. Guitarist MAT Colbert went on to play in Blurring, Kalibas and Humiliating Moan. Drummer Andy Meyering is a member of Further Damage. Limited edition of 300 copies on colored vinyl. Cover art is silkscreened onto handmade paper stock jackets made from pulped bibles. For every seven copies of Skingraft made, on bible was removed from this world. Includes an insert.

Since forming in 2002, Philadelphia’s Paint IT Black have rewritten the rules of hardcore punk with each new release. Across three full-length albums and three 7” EPs, the fourpiece of vocalist Dan Yemin, bassist Andy Nelson, guitarist Josh Agran, and drummer Jared Shavelson have been crafting concise, incisive statements that meld hardcore’s fury with a nuanced lyrical perspective. The ties that bind together bands know nothing of national borders or oceans between continents, and for punk bands on tour, these relationships run deep. The latest addition to American punk band THE Drowns (based in Seattle, WA) is guitarist Simon, who played for years with the UK's Wonk Unit. Simon and his former Wonk Unit bandmate Alex helped book THE Drowns on a UK tour, and when both bands met each other in full in London, they weren't just fast friends, but like family. On this release, each band contributes one brand new song. THE Drowns, armed with their sharp rock 'n roll sound, set their sights on a protest song about the state of the US in recent years, aptly titled "The Beast," while Wonk Unit opt for more personal territory with “Rebecca,” which deals with issues related to substance abuse, personal responsibility, and mental health. Taken together, the songs that comprise this split 7" represent two bands separated by geography, but united by friendship, mutual sonic admiration, and common purpose.
