This is basically another band with another style... yet for sure keep connections with the original forgotten recordings that were featured on the above release, but this is muuuuuch better!! The offering here as you might have read on our promo flyers is a crazy mix of psychobilly, surf, garage trash and punk all performed with great production, songwriting and musicianship, the album compiles basically everything the guys recorded since their comeback in the 2010´s, all has been remastered and repackaged onto a beautiful LP to make it work as a powerfull full lenght. Honestly we found them as some of the best offerings of the" Trash" comeback , even thought compare them with those bands couldnt be exactly correct, the band sounds tight and the production is strong, no LO -FI here, also they dont fall in the old standarts, there is a huge variation of sounds through the whole LP.

Straight out of Los Angeles, powerviolence band Zulu are here to share their life experiences and make a comfortable environment for everyone they come in contact with. The latest signing to Flatspot Records, the label will be releasing, for the first time on vinyl, the band’s debut EP Our Day Will Come (2019) and its follow-up My People...Hold On (2020) this summer. Formed by vocalist Anaiah Lei (also of hardcore band Dare) in 2019, Zulu is rounded out by Dez Yusuf (guitar), Braxton Marcellous (guitar), Satchel Brown (bass), and Christine Cadette (drums). Citing influences from Jill Scott to Weekend Nachos, the band’s style is fiercely original, laced with heavy breakdowns intertwined with samples of pivotal moments in black culture. The band has already seen praise from Stereogum, No Echo, and New Noise Magazine, and have a tour on the way with fellow California innovators Scowl this summer. Zulu carries a strong message, but it’s also about having fun, as Anaiah puts it - “Zulu isn’t a political band at all. I started Zulu because I wanted to be in an all black band and talk about what we go through and been going through. But also celebrating our lives at the same time.”

Three piece riff machine from Stockholm Sweden, Harmagedon is a raw festering carcass of dynamic grind and roll. Featuring members of Martyrdöd and Freedom raising hell once again, Harmagedon’s debut record Dystopian Dreams is a fusion of heaviness that is difficult to pin down but makes all the damn sense in the world! With focus on primal minimalism but maximum animalism, Dystopian Dreams is the ground zero of an explosive power trio summoning raw energy into being. With no frills and no gimmicks, just relentless heaviness, Harmagedon is a matured brew of “crust punk” or “d-beat” (“kängpunk” for the diehards) infused with ravishing death-metal. Blue Dolphin was a wild, iridescent punk band from Austin, Texas circa 2016. Over the course of a year, they created a buzzing, liberatory sound, a dark bloodmix of melodic ease and existential gloom. This pairing suggests monuments like 'Peace?' or 'Is This Real?' but Blue Dolphin found this path all on their own, through trust and reliance, that practice space unity that the best bands build simply through the joy of playing with each other. A solid mixture of wild and powerful Rockabilly , awesome cover versions and varied sounds and lyrics make Dark Streets real remarkable. On a side note, front man and vocalist Dave Finnegan became a Hollywood star with the blockbuster movie The Commitments. Remastered with bonus tracks. While all Hangmen albums sound unmistakably like The Hangmen, each are distinguishable from the rest. Recorded and mixed over a couple of days on a tiny budget ‘Last Train To Purgatory’ is characterised by its warped rockabilly leanings and unsettling ‘gallows’ humour. It invited and defied listeners to enjoy unsavoury visions set to a crude and trashy soundtrack at a time when such things were never more alien in the world of music. It still received favourable reviews in unexpected places, glossy horror mag Samhain and metalhead weekly Kerrrang! (giving it a high ‘K’ rating) complimented accolades and bemusement in the more musically aligned press. With a mission in mind, Speed is setting out to put Australian hardcore on the map. Formed in 2019, the Sydney-based band has a no-holds-barred approach and enticing sound that makes them standouts in the genre. Composed of vocalist Jem, bassist Aaron Siow, guitarists Josh Clayton and Dennis Vichidvongsa, and drummer Kane Vardon, Speed showcases a tough exterior, but amplifies their sense of identity, and community in everything they do. Following the release of their demo in 2019, the band teamed up with U.S. label Flatspot Records for a two-song EP in 2020 and they joined forces again for Gang Called Speed. Recorded with Elliott Gallart at Chameleon Studios, the six songs on the EP are centered around recognizing who you are in this world, taking ownership of that identity and not letting anyone tell you otherwise. Drawing influence from old-school acts like Biohazard and Merauder just as much as bands like Trapped Under ICE, the band is putting forth pit-ready music.
