Battery was a staple of the Washington, D.C., hardcore scene during the ’90s, formed by a who’s-who of that scene, including members of Damnation A.D., Better Than A Thousand, Shelter, Ashes, and Worlds Collide. From 1991-1998, the band released numerous EPs and LPs that have mostly been in high demand for reissues leading up to Revelation Records reissuing Whatever It Takes… in 2014. To coincide with the band’s appearances at Damaged City Fest in D.C. and Rev Fest in California in 2017, Battery hand-selected their favorite tracks from throughout their career for this release, presenting only the most powerful of their output.

Das steht für vier Persönlichkeiten, mit dem gleichen Ventil. Punkrock hat eine lange Tradition in Oldenburg. Die "harte Schule" der norddeutschen Kleinstadt geht an Keinem spurlos vorbei. Zwischen aussterbendem "plattsnack" und gutsituierter Mittelschicht, sozialisiert laute Gitarrenmusik und bringt nach wie vor die "besseren Menschen" dieser Welt hervor. Ende 2009 trifft man sich das erste Mal, um einen Ausgleich vom Ausgleich zu schaffen, der in diesem Fall Namen wie BITUME, ALARMSIGNAL, SKAMBULÉ (rip), PARADOX etc. trägt. Nach zwei Besetzungswechseln, einer sehr positiv aufgenommenen Demo - 2012 das erste Album. DAS ALBUM... enthält 14 Songs, die durch verschiedene Aufenthalte der einzelnen Bandmitglieder (Jakarta, Portland, Madrid, Oldenburg etc.), ein Jahr der Aufnahme benötigte. Lyrisch stehen persönliche, politische sowie solzialkritische Themen in Wechselwirkung und so werden die Texte von treibendem, melodieprägnatem Punkrock getragen. Dieser Sound wird von Außenstehenden immer wieder mit Bands wie Turbostaat, Pascow oder auch Leatherface verglichen, jedoch im gleichen Satz auch immer auf die eigenständige, sowie authentische Art hingewiesen. Gemixt und gemastert wurde das Ganze in der Oldenburger Tonmeisterei von "Role" himself, der bereits Knöpfe bei Escapado, Just Went Black, Tackleberry, The Now-Denial etc. gedreht hat. Für das Aussehen ist "Ralf Rohde" verantwortlich, der bereits für Künstler wie CJ Ramone, Panteón Rococó, Nitrominds, Karamelo Santo etc. gearbeitet hat. Veröffentlicht wird das Album in Form einer 12inch Vinyl LP (inkl. Downloadcode) in Deutschland, England und Frankreich.

The Hamburg-based label Last Exit Music continues the reissue series of the "German skatepunk pioneers", this time with the fourth NOT Available album Grandpunks from 2017. Founded in 1992, NOT Available are still active in 2022 and are often mentioned in the same breath as Venerea, Satanic Surfers or NO FUN AT ALL when it comes to the most popular bands of the genre in Europe. The guys from Baden-Württemberg have given themselves six years since the predecessor work "v8". Six years in which you can finally process what you have experienced on the numerous tours at home and abroad; six years to practice adult things. And six years to work on 5 Aces, which turns out to be a real stroke of luck after the first hearing. The songs have become more mature without despising the classic trademark sound. Seven years after that the band released record #5, NO Excuses! Three years later, Grandpunks, the band's sixth album, was released. The limited LP edition was sold out in no time at the time, which is why Last Exit Music has now re-pressed this gem again on blue vinyl. Limited to 200 pieces!

Just one year after the release of their highly acclaimed "Mainstream View," Grade 2 dropped this incredible record, "Break The Routine." The band amazingly managed to further mature their sound and songwriting ability, thickening their intense barrage on the scene, and quickly bringing this band into everyone's sights. The memorable choruses, catchy guitar riffs, groovy bass lines, and the powerful drumbeats show that the boys clearly have a new and brilliant understanding of how to make great music.

THE KARL HENDRICKS TRIO is a Pittsburgh rock institution. Having released nine full-lengths and six singles of uncompromising, emotionally charged, very loud rock over the course of twenty years, it's probably safe to call them an American rock institution as well. A former bedroom 4-track confessionalist, Karl Hendricks formed the Trio late in 1991. The band has undergone numerous line-up changes since, having had four different drummers, four different bass players, and during the two separate spans when the band augmented to a four-piece dubbed appropriately enough, the Karl Hendricks Rock Band, two different rhythm guitarists. The one constant has been, of course, Karl himself. The Trio debuted on record with 1992's Buick Electra, released on Karl's own Peas Kor label. From the mid '90s to the early 2000s the trio released several albums on Merge Records, and in 2007, Hendricks self-released the one and only Karl Hendricks Rock Band album, The World Says, on his Surplus Anxiety imprint. Comedy Minus One's release of The Adult Section in 2012 officially marks the end of the Karl Hendricks Rock Band Mark II and the return of the stripped-down Trio line-up. Karl's sound and his approach to songwriting have only gotten more nuanced and thoughtful with age. Musically, the Trio remains rooted in a muscular yet melodic sound built on a massive wall of guitars, and a bass and drum assault that powers things forward as much as it anchors them down. It's a straightforward aesthetic but it has allowed Karl's guitar playing to develop into a more sprawling and heroic version of the spirited six-string blasts of his youth. This LP is a collection of songs released on various EP and split records. France’s Syndrome 81 started gaining momentum in the punk scene with their 2013 demo tape, drawing comparisons to the plethora of great bands that defined the French Oi sound of the 1980s with a heavy stomp culled from classic Ushc. The band has progressed since then, and the sound is more diverse but also more defined, having filed off some of the American influences and moved in a darker, distinctly French direction that is both melancholy and anthemic, with lyrics being influenced by growing up in Brest, France. The band comes from this dark place and write songs about their personal struggles growing up and growing old. These are songs about watching your friends lose sight and move on while you question why you are still here, haunted by your past and having to look your former self in the eye while you apologize for who you’ve become. These are songs about trudging through a desert you built yourself. 18 songs in all.

Hailing from the fine city of Baltimore, MD, Angel Du$t brings their second LP of blissed-out, melodic punk/hardcore that brings together the worlds of Lemonheads and BAD Brains like nobody before them has, all brought to you by members of Trapped Under ICE and other freaks.

These 10-songs were recorded and mixed by Craig Bowen at Baltimore's A.C.R. Studios but never released. After the session the band decided to continue writing new songs. Six of these songs were re-recorded at Inner Eat Studios and released on Necrophones, while four others remained unreleased, until now. Released in 2012.
