A special release signifying PPM50 and Post Present Medium as a label for ten years. Wives were a punk band formed in Los Angeles in 2001, they recorded, performed and toured until 2005 when they disbanded. After their last US tour and and before their (_rst and last) UK /Europe tour in 2005 Dean Spunt (bass and vocals) and Randy Randall (guitar) recorded these 7 songs with new drummer Roy Tatum. These were the songs, if you saw them live, Wives were playing, working on and perfecting at the time on the final tour.Recorded By Bobb Bruno in their practice space in 2005 the "Roy Tapes" were shelved and have not been listened to by anyone until they were decided to be released, nearly seven years later. It holds the fury and confusion of the live sets...

This is the lead single from the album called 'T.V. Screen', it's a limited edition 7" with anexclusive b-side, a cover of the Billy Childish classic "Don't Like The Man That I Am" which weirdly enough has also been covered by Pete Molinari and the Singing Loins, both on Damaged Goods! Bringing together all of the recordings from seminal anarcho puck outfit Stone The Crowz - on stunning White Vinyl! Formed in East London / Essex, a mutual love of Crass and all things anarcho first brought Trevor Speed and Trevor Delasalle together and the band was formed. After several false starts with different musicians they finally found what they were looking for in Steve Beatty drums) and Matthew Sheath bass) and very quickly they had a set and made their live debut supporting The Subhumans. In just under a year the band were in the studio and recorded their first six track demo in 1985, a second demo with a much angrier feel soon followed and racks from both demos ended up on vinyl: Mortarhates We Won't Be Your Fucking Poor, Endangered Musics Relying On Us EP and Punk Lives, Lets Slam released by Slam Records.

In celebration of the ten year anniversary of their seminal album, Seahaven and Run For Cover Records present WFX (Ten Years of Winter Forever). Newly remixed by Vince Ratti and remastered by Ted Jensen.On their debut full-length and follow up to 2010's amazing Ghost, Seahaven exude an effortless and expert musical control, toeing the line between post-punk, emo and post-hardcore styles, moods and atmospheres. The songs carry an ethereal, organic depth and expertise of the space surrounding the music, resulting in a moving dynamism. From airy, minimalist textures to catchy, upbeat pop-rock sections to fully overblown anthems, the band stitch cohesive songs together behind the weaving delivery of vocalist Kyle Soto. Soto moves between storyteller drawl, delicate melody and gruff yell, dripping a tortured sincerity. The delivery reflects the band's delicate musical balance, yet the lyrics paint pictures of a loss of control. Soto uses the musical canvas to try to make sense of love, God, abandonment; events outside of his control and how they affect what he can control. The heartrending stories, musical peaks and valleys, lows and highs, darks and brights push Seahaven in every direction, yet thread a needle that pulls Winter Forever into a cohesive, dynamic and incredibly impressive listen.

If you had to characterize Raised Fist - one of Sweden's hardcore scene's longest-running and most vital acts - with just one word, respect would be it. Want proof? Lou Koller of Sick Of It All described Raised Fist as "one of the world's three most progressive hardcore bands", Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden fame played them on his radio show and Jona Weinhofen (I Killed The Prom Queen, ex-Bring Me The Horizon) cites them as a huge influence. Speaking of the album, front man Alexander "Alle" Hagman says, "this time, everything has connected, like pieces in a perfect puzzle. You know when you have a classic album recorded." He continues, "when you do something with your heart, and the timing is right, there is magic. That is what happened with 'From The North'. From The North is where we are from, and we do shit differently up here! We do it hard, whether it's on stage or in the studio."

Exploding onto the scene with a handful of releases behind them, Pere Ubu’s ‘The Modern Dance’ stunned the music world and quickly began appearing on ‘Most Influential’ album lists. Pere Ubu originally formed as a studio project drawing on a body of musicians who were involved in the Cleveland underground music scene that had, by August 1975, seemingly run its course. The main objective of the band at that time was to document their work and then disappear. Luckily for us they were on the cusp of changing the face of rock forever. For this reworking, Paul Hamann at Suma has transferred from the original 2-track analogue mix tapes to digital at the highest resolution available which, is at least four times the resolution of the original. The tracks have carefully been re-mastered by sonic architect Brian Pyle so as to capture the unique qualities within.
