Solid black vinyl limited to 200 copies. ...another sonic bestiality forged in the violent streets of Medellin, Colombia in the 80's!! Formed in 1984 by vocalist Carlos Mario Montoya “El vikingo” (also member of Nekromantie) who was assassinated in 1988, Sacrilegio were undoubtedly one of the most important names in the early Ultra Metal scene of the Antioquian region. Quoting the biography included in this anthology: "They were influenced by Metal/Hardcore classics of the time, such as Parabellum, Hellhammer, Slayer and Snobb Slakt (Swedish Hardcore)". This gives a better idea of their style, a primitive and rough crossover of early day death/thrash with a touch of 80's hardcore in the crudest form. In the works for more than 4 years, "Podredumbre 1986-1988" is the most exhaustive collection of all their existing recordings, assembled under supervision of the band's late guitarist Antonio Guerrero (also founder of Agressor and Masacre). 10 songs consisting of: audition session for "Rodrigo D. No futuro" and demo 1986-1987, final recording for the soundtrack of "Rodrigo D. No futuro" (1988), live at Acción Comunal del barrio Alfonso López Castilla, 1987. As explained in the band history, Sacrilegio's anthem "Podredumbre" was only included in the soundtrack of the movie "Rodrigo D." but not on the 1990's compilation LP featuring most of the bands that were invited to take part to that project. This LP come with 12 page booklet full of never seen before photos, flyers and an interesting biography written with the help of Antonio Guerrero. An absolute must have for fans of the most infernal South American death thrash and raw, unpolished 80's metal punk in general!

Rose OF Victory originally was a studio collaboration between Neil "mackie" Mclennan and Nigel "nidge" Miller Neil (1958-2007), both founding members the iconic UK Punk/Oi! band Blitz. McLennan and Miller's post-Blitz project released one well-received 7" single on No Future Records in 1983, before fading into legend—until now. Teaming up with drummer Greg Boulton (the Violators, Skingraft, Epic Problem) and vocalists Damian Abraham (fucked UP) and Tobias Grave (soft Kill), Mackie has resurrected the Rose OF Victory project, resulting in the "Full Circle" 7" single. The grittiness of Blitz runs headlong into the kind of Post-Punk melancholy that you can only find in Greater Manchester and the East Midlands, resulting in this wonderful record. Look for more releases from the reactivated Rose Of Victory project in the future. Edition of 400 copies on pink vinyl.

Kjehl Johansen, guitarist and songwriter for the Circlons, first surfaced in 1978 with the influential minimalist punk band THE Urinals. Kjehl went on to play in other notable projects such as Trotsky Icepick, which released 7 albums on SST Records, and the lo-fi pop trio Narrow Adventure, who have a current album out on Austin-based Spacecase Records. His latest project is the Circlons, featuring Hunter Crowley on drums, Steve Andrews on rhythm and lead guitar, and TOM Hofer on bass. These seasoned veterans played in Trotsky Icepick, THE Last, and the Leaving Trains. The Circlons’ first release explores the dark underbelly of the music business in all its cynicism and glory. On the lead-off track, “I Wanna Be On Your Radio (Not In Your Arms),” vocalist John Talley-jones (Urinals, 100 Flowers) plants his tongue firmly in cheek and portrays a ruthless careerist using his girl- friend’s tears to write a song and get a record deal. True to form, our antagonist dumps the girl and doesn’t look back as told in this taut, rocking pop song. Next up is the title track where singer Adam Marsland (cockeyed Ghost) uses the weather and the natural disasters of Los Angeles to wearily describe a music executive leaving behind a trail of emotional carnage. Featuring a string quartet, this song is aptly titled “When Only the Music Is Pretty.” Lisa Kekaula’s (bell-rays) vocals on “Blue Cheer” take a serious turn and will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. This R&B-influenced song takes its inspiration from those who have survived the cruelty of domestic violence as they try to find their voice and have their music heard. The EP finishes with an epic improvisation inspired by the German band Can. Nestled in the swirling chaos of sounds, Barbara MANNING’s spoken words come to us from the void of creation and self-doubt, beyond death and time. Heavy stuff!

Upside is a legendary hardcore/punk band from Sassuolo near Modena (Italy) that started in early 80s and is still performing to this day. They were part of the scene that gave us bands like Stigmathe, Raw Power, Nabat, Dioxina, Cani, No Jap, Hydra, Stalag 17, RAF Punk... In 1983 they debuted on vinyl with Nati Per Soffrire 7" but even before that they recorded the first demo tape with great songs that never came out elsewhere. Political punk verging on hardcore tinged with dark overtones, both musically and lyrically. Very critical, almost apocalyptic lyrics about the society. Their music influences seem to merge early UK 82 stuff with Italian HC/Punk of the time as well as 80s Finnish HC, although not as fast as most of their Scandinavian counterparts. If you liked the recent Link Lärm LP on No Plan records, this could be something for you as well. This LP gathers 10 songs (plus a hidden track) from the demo, remastered, for the first time on vinyl. Comes with a foldout 12" insert with band photos, lyrics, flyers and band´s history in a deluxe 350 gr laminated cover printed on both sides.

Some Nicholson is an ensemble created by artist David Nicholson. Their debut album is a collection of blues infused material presented in the form of a classic 70’s LP.” David Nicholson was born in Montreal in 1970. His career began at Artists Space in NYC in 2002 and he now lives and works in Berlin, where he is represented by Galerie Michael Haas. In 2018 Nicholson decided to state a musical position based on his lifelong love of the blues by producing a vinyl album, reminiscent of the LP records of the 1970s. Recording took place in his painting studio, summoning the minimalist spirit of field recordings, rendered with modern technology. This approach set the parameters for the project which later expanded to include a recording made on location at the Freiberg Cathedral, home of a baroque masterpiece, Gottfried Silbermann’s organ. To help him realise his vision, Nicholson gathered an ensemble of 12 musicians and singers, including renowned jazz organist Brian Charette, trumpet player Christoph Titz, and guitar maestro/sound-übernerd Thomas Büchel. The results speak for themselves. Sit back and immerse yourself in a musical adventure and note that the album’s creators advise that this LP record is best enjoyed with a bottle of 2018 Chinon.

The inspiration for the ScorpKlub project was to create unique works, using the remarkable collection of Toulon Art Museum's as a palette, through a multidisciplinary exchange of sound and moving image. Hifiklub responded in music to the digital collages created by James Kerr, who mischievously altered twenty artworks ranging from the 15th to the beginning of the 20th century, from the museum's permanent collection. The work of assembling the visuals took place in James Kerr's studio in Montreal, whereas the musical component to the project was created in two stages: - The first recording session took place at the end of January 2021 at Coxinhell studio in Saint-Aygulf, with Iggor Cavalera (MixHell, Cavalera Conspiracy, Pet Brick, co-founder of Sepultura) recording remotely. This session resulted in ten original compositions, to which Kerr animated his videos to. - The second stage of Hifiklub took place in Toulon on July 2 and 3, 2021 during the Murex Festival, with the remote participation of Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Eleven). This session of sound research and recording was done in front of a live audience, to which the music was created in response to ten premade animations created by Kerr. ScorpKlub I & II will be broadcasted in 2022 on the internet in the form of two seasons: one with Iggor Cavalera + one with Alain Johannes.

“Chameleon Tongue” is the first LP of Sardinian band Mano De Mono, recorded during the hottest week of July 2021, mixed and mastered in the followin’ fall at Officina13 Studio. Eight tracks, four on each side respectively called “Inside” / “Outside”, are experiences through the new shapes of social constructs. The contradiction of a double life divided in anxiety to achieve social approval while being frustrated of its cold mechanisms. Totally refusing to face with the contemporary codes of aesthetics ,careerism and latest trends that made the worst individualism became a strength, this record is a pure moan directly distilled from a misfit mental loop that hate the human behavior of submission and surrender but somehow have to deal with. Mano De Mono refers to their style as “punk of the dunes” mostly because his social thematic , the sandy influenced sound and of course the place where they live. They won’t offer you any solution except leaving in you a stoned feeling of wanderlust.

Madrid-based 90’s punk rock nostalgics “weak” is back to the fray with their second album “A Guide for Adult Despair”. You can tell they grew up with Nofx, Lagwagon and No Use for A Name tapes blaring on their Walkmans as their sound could be defined as a passionate homage to the Californian punk rock bands of the nineties. On this new album the band decides to go one step further in terms of composition and recording quality and hits Ultramarinos Costabrava Studio with the mighty Santi García in charge. The result is a much more elaborate and consistent album, combining the speed and rage of punk rock with slower and super melodic pop style cuts. Although it is not a concept album, everything is wrapped in an atmosphere of sadness and despair in which many of us have been trapped in these past years. A Guide for Adult Despair is a deeply personal album, which revolves around the ups and downs that each member of the band has experienced during these last turbulent years. Nevertheless, the album also leaves room for some fast and direct songs loaded with social and political criticism. Recorded between the past months of December/January at Ultramarinos Costabrava by Santi García, this album is definitely much more consistent and emotionally engaging than the previous one.

When you hear of someone in the punk scene putting out solo material, you expect them to pull out the acoustic guitar and channel their softer side. With Tino Valpa it couldn’t be more the opposite. New Hampshire’s one-man powerhouse is here with his first full-length solo album Live Or Be Lived All Over. Tino tackles all duties: guitar, bass, drums and vocals. From the get-go this record is heavier, harder & better structured than its predecessors. Tino’s previous releases in 2010 & 11 were two 7” EPs of blazing old-school hardcore punk with few songs clocking in over the 30 second mark. Since then, Valpa has traveled the world touring in many bands with focuses on other things. In 2022 the solo project will finally to come to light as a live playing, touring band. Rapid Eye Records proudly presents “Counterfeit Fire” - the debut EP by the noise rock band CHILDREN, due on 12” vinyl and as a digital release on September 23. Get ready for a frictional force of angular rock - barely hanging by threads of jazz, proto-punk and 1990’s noise rock, sewing together what is a both free-form and repetitive wet blanket of existential dread. Hitting the mark somewhere between THE STOOGES, SCRATCH ACID and free jazz - this release is also undoubtedly coloured by its birthplace Berlin; cold yet wild, limitless within its sharply edged box.

Formed by multi-instrumentalist and lyricist Tim Nagel and completed with guitarist/bassist Ivan Krasnov, the EP features guest appearances by Gottfrid Ahman (IN SOLITUDE, WATAIN etc) and Linnéa Olsson (MAGGOT HEART). It was recorded by Torben Utecht (OCCVLTA), mixed by Pierre Somville (DOLCH etc) and mastered by James Plotkin (EARTH etc). [ENG"Eat More Possum" is Antiseen's most acclaimed album, originally released in 1993 and now remastered for this vinyl reissue. ANTISEEN is an American punk rock band formed in Charlotte, North Carolina by Jeff Clayton and Joe Young in 1983. The name "Antiseen" serves as a deliberate deviation of the phrase "anti-scene" - the group not wishing to adhere to standard perceptions of punk rock in specific and rock music in general. Musically, Antiseen is influenced by groups such as the Ramones and Stooges, employing short, heavily distorted power chord-driven songs largely free of guitar solos or advanced musicianship. The band has a catalogue of over 100 LPs, EPs, CDs and DVDs recorded with various line-ups and have performed all over the world. Years after crawling from the primordial ooze of rural North Carolina, Antiseen proceed to bulldoze through the nineties with one quality release after another. Eat More Possum is one of the greatest specimens of gun totin', meat eatin', society rejectin' punk rock the Young / Clayton posse ever laid to wax. Young's guitar tone is particularly grinding, heartwarming like steel cutting machinery buzzing in your ear, capped by Jeff Clayton's trademark ursine raving. Speedballs like "Star Whore" and "Storm Trooper" are like chopper territory fights set to music, while anthropological studies on southern attitudes like "Trapped in Dixie" offer miles of perspective to the unfamiliar. The vegetarian torturing anthem "Animals (Eat 'em)" may be the tastiest nugget in this pannikin of dixie nihilism, and the boys nail one hell of a Ramones cover along the way. This is an absolute must for fans of extreme punk rock ala GG Allin, Dwarves, Poison Idea, etc.
