Maybe the best Deftones Album back in print!

On their seventh studio album, Deftones prove that they don't need to compromise aggression for ambition. Koi No Yokan ranges from brutal, blunt-force trauma ("Gauze") to epic prog-rock atmospherics ("Tempest"). Opener "Swerve City" sets the tone immediately with a bludgeoning riff, but Deftones also take nuanced approaches to angsty tension, weaving meticulously crafted cosmic rock on "Entombed" and wading through murky, jagged textures on "Rosemary."

DEFEATER’s third full-length, Letters Home, is one of the band’s best records. The album features ten heavy and haunting tracks that continue the story of a working-class family living in post-WWII America. Letters Home revolves around the father of two brothers that listeners were introduced to in two of DEFEATER’s prior releases (2008’s Travels and, most recently, 2011’s Empty Days & Sleepless Nights), giving a background to the character and seeing some of the events from those past albums through his eyes. This is the 11th album in Bridge Nine Records’ special, silver-anniversary series, which was started as a way to celebrate the label’s 25th anniversary. Now in its 28th year, the label has continued to give the silver-edition treatment to the most foundational records for the label.

Minority Of One is the fifth full-length album by DAG Nasty, originally released after their reunion in 2002. It features guitarist Brian Baker (bad Religion, Minor Threat, Government Issue), vocalist Dave Smalley (all, Down BY LAW, Dys), bassist Roger Marbury, and drummer Colin Sears. “Here We Stand.” It is a phrase that means a lot to the legendary UK punk band Cock Sparrer. It was the title of the band’s 2007 LP, which announced their arrival in the 21st century. It cropped up again as a rallying cry in the lyrics to their 2017 anthem “One By One.” And now it is the title and chorus of a brand-new single off the band’s farewell studio LP, Hand on Heart.

With 2007’s Here We Stand, legendary punk rockers Cock Sparrer moved into the 21st Century, and staked their claim on an exciting new era for the band. Never content to simply rest on the considerable laurels of their back catalog, the first Sparrer studio album since the 1997 not only put a new release into the hands of the old faithful and new fans alike, but kicked off a renewed period of active international touring and headlining festival appearances that has continued to this very day.
