Battery was a staple of the Washington, D.C., hardcore scene during the ’90s, formed by a who’s-who of that scene, including members of Damnation A.D., Better Than A Thousand, Shelter, Ashes, and Worlds Collide. From 1991-1998, the band released numerous EPs and LPs that have mostly been in high demand for reissues leading up to Revelation Records reissuing Whatever It Takes… in 2014. To coincide with the band’s appearances at Damaged City Fest in D.C. and Rev Fest in California in 2017, Battery hand-selected their favorite tracks from throughout their career for this release, presenting only the most powerful of their output.

After the uncompromising opening salvo of 2010’s Racey Roller, Giuda followed things up with the aptly titled 2013 sophomore release, Let’s Do It Again. And "do it again" they did indeed. Solidifying the band's lineup with the additions of new drummer Daniele Tarea and lead guitarist Michele “Mikey Steakknife” Malagnini, Let’s Do It Again finds the Giuda in top form, delivering on the promise of Racey Roller and then some. The stomps are harder, the chants are louder, and the grooves are heavier than ever. Every song on this album is catchy enough to be a legendary single in its own right. This is the very definition of "all killer, no filler." Thanks to increased touring, and an excellent promotional campaign by Damaged Goods for the UK release, Let’s Do It Again elevated Giuda's international profile as subculture heroes. Much like Racey Roller before it, Let's Do It Again has seen release internationally on many labels like Fungo Records (Italy), Damaged Goods (uk), TKO, Burning Heart Records (Sweden), and Overdrive Records (Italy). This is the first domestic release of Let’s Do It Again since TKO initially released it in 2014, and we’re eager to get it into the hands of anyone who missed it the first time around. If that’s you, don’t make the same mistake twice. First time release with all the songs recorded from this seminal Spanish band. Replica for cover and inside art work. 180 gram vinyl. Espasmódicos were formed in the Malasaña council, Madrid in the first days of 1981. J. Siemens (guitar), Kike (voice) and CSG71 (bass) were the first line-up, completed when Carlos Torero joined them as a drummer. Influenced by the first punk-hc bands coming out but also for some hard-rock elements, soon the first tracks were composed and then, in 1982, the mighty DRO label released their first 7" called "Recomendado para molestar a su vecino", featuring 3 songs that are one of the seminals steps into punk in this country. They had a guest on the person of Karlox from Polansky y El Ardor at the saxophone, something very weird in the bands of that first punk wave. Since the 7" was released the band started to be well known and they went to some Spanish TV shows to promote their work. Carlos Torero decided to leave the band and a studio-session drummer joined in the person of Carlos de Yebra. In 1983 the band recorded their last songs: first they registered the mighty tracks that went on to the great compilation "Punk, qué punk?" released by DRO. This songs were "Tía, vete a cagar" and a free cover-version from Sex Pistols called "Belsen was a gas", something that pointed the band to a weird status as the lyric was something into Nazism or fascism, something that the band never were. The second studio session for that year (and the last ever for the band) was to register their maxi-single "Espasmódicos", five songs together with the great art-work done by J. Siemens and Kike Kruel, very similar to the Crass's stuff and so. Beat Generation, absolutely fan of the band, is more than proud to release this LP with all their discography, together with a replica of the art-work.

Dead Ending is back with their second release and it's simply brutal. The first laid the foundation, but this EP better reflects the band firing on all cylinders, with all members now contributing songs. DE II sports screaming guitars, thumping bass, pounding drums and a vocalist who makes you crap in your pants as you run for protection.By now, punks should already be familiar with Dead Ending, the fierce hardcore outlet for Joe Principe (Rise Against), Derek Grant (Alkaline Trio), Jeff Dean (The Bomb, Noise by Numbers) and the legendary vocalist Vic Bondi (Articles of Faith). The band has only played one show to date-at the Punk Rock Bowling Festival in Las Vegas-and will be hitting the road in 2013.
