Nun mit der brandneuen Single "Lumpenmann" am Start, welches der erste neue Song seit 2007 ist, aber nicht der letzte sein wird. Versprochen! Denn ab dem 16.09.2022 gibt's den Song als Single Digital und zugleich geht diese Doppel-A-Seite-7"-Vinyl-Single mit dem weiteren neuen Stück "Tief Im Herzen" (ebenfalls Single Digital am 04.11.2022) in den Vorverkauf! Und danach geht's in 2023 mit noch mehr neuen Stücken und in der zweiten Jahreshälfte mit Album Nummer 5 weiter... Der Lumpenmann ist Feuerwehr und Müllabfuhr zugleich. Man braucht ihn vielleicht, aber man mag ihn nicht in der Nähe haben, und wenn er kommt, soll er baldmöglichst wieder verschwinden. In dem Song steht der Lumpensammler für all jene Mitmenschen, die ihre Meinung nicht sagen können oder wollen, wo es zweifelsohne angebracht und notwendig wäre. Wenn alles schief gelaufen ist, alles gegen die Wand gefahren ist, dann kommt der Lumpenmann und muss mit brachialer Gewalt Erfolg erzwingen und die Geschichte wieder in Ordnung bringen. Der Song spiegelt zum Teil persönliche Erfahrungen der Band wider und soll die Notwendigkeit ausdrücken, sich selbst treu zu bleiben, um nicht zu einem reinem Lumpen zu werden. Cynical and nostalgic and yet powerful, it is vaguely inspired by the song Time by Richard Hell and the Voidoids from which the verse "only time can write a song that's really real" is taken. Written in the midst of the pandemic years, it is also the first track composed after Bee Bee Sea's latest studio work "Day Ripper". Musically halfway between Brmc and The Stooges, it was enriched with the electric piano played by Marco Giudici, also producer of the single.

TST was an early punk band from Vasteras, an hour north of Stockholm, that played tuneful and somewhat anthemic punk rock. This was their debut 7", released in 1981, containing 4 songs. The band will go on having a really long life, though their most productive period was in the first half of the 80s. The original 7" was pressed in 300 copies, didn´t have any inserts and you never see it in the wild nowadays. This reissue comes with a 4 page insert that contains all the lyrics, photos, gig flyers and an essay about the band.

The ties that bind together bands know nothing of national borders or oceans between continents, and for punk bands on tour, these relationships run deep. The latest addition to American punk band THE Drowns (based in Seattle, WA) is guitarist Simon, who played for years with the UK's Wonk Unit. Simon and his former Wonk Unit bandmate Alex helped book THE Drowns on a UK tour, and when both bands met each other in full in London, they weren't just fast friends, but like family. On this release, each band contributes one brand new song. THE Drowns, armed with their sharp rock 'n roll sound, set their sights on a protest song about the state of the US in recent years, aptly titled "The Beast," while Wonk Unit opt for more personal territory with “Rebecca,” which deals with issues related to substance abuse, personal responsibility, and mental health. Taken together, the songs that comprise this split 7" represent two bands separated by geography, but united by friendship, mutual sonic admiration, and common purpose. Classic UK82 heroes, Special Duties return in 2021. The band started in Colchester, Essex, UK as teen punks with a purpose in 1977. Regardless of their musical inabilities, they were signed in 1980. Charnel House released their debut single, the classic, Violent Society ("Violent Society" b/w "Colchester Council"). After years of practice and two more EPs (Police State and Bullshit Crass both on Rondelet), Special Duties, now with Rondelet Music (Anti-Pasti, Riot Squad, The Fits, The Membranes, The Treats), made a rebellious record with a statement, '77 in '82. As many 'punk' bands (Special Duties' influences The Adverts, The Boys included) were going arty or commercial or defunct, The Class of 1982 was redefining punk; harsher and angrier, eschewing the power-pop which had gripped early bands. Peers - such as Discharge, Abrasive Wheels, Chaos UK, GBH, Exploited, Varukers - embraced speedy riffs and snarls instead of hooks and skinny ties. The late 90's saw a rebirth of Special Duties. With reissues of their debut LP, '77 in ''82 on Captain Oi! and Distorted Truth on Get Back, they band began to leave a stamp in a new generation of punks' consciousness, Special Duties were requested to play UK punk festivals, most notably, Fuck Reading and Holidays in the Sun. This led to '77 in '97 also on Captain Oi! (run by Mark Brennan of The Business, who influenced the band as well). This resurgence also saw the band come stateside to the legendary CBGB's in 1998. A recording was self-released. Another single, "Wembley Wembley!" and a split EP with namesake, Violent Society from Philly. A third rising came in quarantine of 2020. Those recordings now see daylight on this fantastic record, Seven Days a Week Violated Records, also home of original legends and contemporary killers such as The Outcasts, The Violators, Foreign Legion, Vice Squad, The Parasitix, Menace, Red Alert, Eater and more, is now releasing Special Duties.

Scottish post-punk trio's 11-track best-of collection of 1980s alternative radio and dance rock club hits:Formed in Scotland in 1979, APB were a post-punk trio blending edgy guitars with funk and new wave sounds. The band had many early '80s alternative radio and rock dance club hits including "Shoot You Down", "Rainy Day" and "Palace Filled with Love". Those tracks along with seven others were originally released on the collection Something To Believe In in 1985. This new revised LP adds the group's first single "Chain Reaction" to the set making this its vinyl re-release. Re-issue of Chicago punk legends Naked Raygun's album 'Throb Throb' – famously, the first live band Dave Grohl ever saw - ON Clear Vinyl! From its onset, the tube-crunch surf guitar intro of "Rat Patrol," Throb Throb sizzles like grease in a frying pan until it comes to a halt some 30 minutes later. Like the tank on its cover, Throb is largely informed by an antagonism that rails against the Reaganism that helped spawn intelligent '80s post-punk groups much like Naked Raygun. Titles like "Surf Combat," a song about the effects of napalm at popular beaches, "Gear," a braggadocio commentary about nuclear weapons and the arms race, and "Managua," in which troops march to their impending death, exemplify Throb's political mentality and musical gravity, which are a direct result of the '80s Cold War. Naked Raygun sends the songs up with a sense-raping frazzle and dissonance. While not as furious as Hüsker Dü or as angry as the Misfits, Throb is no less vehement, and ever the more working-class. With comprehensible lyrics everyone can understand and chant, and a plethora of race-against-time guitar melodies, Throb is rare in that it appeals to academics as well as rednecks, straight-shooters as well as in-the-know punks. Borrowing from the big-guitar sound of English heavy metal bands like Iron Maiden and carving catchy melodies usually reserved for Top 40 pop songs into firebrands like "I Don't Know" and "Libido," Naked Raygun assures Throb's place as a classic that is forever ahead of its time, regardless of when it is heard.

Despite strong followings in Holland and Norway, where keyboardist Casino Steel hailed from, London power-pop pioneers the Boys never achieved the British breakthrough they were due, and after three albums failed to chart, Steel quit, making more space for the twin-guitar attack of Matt Dangerfield and frontman Honest John Plain. Final album Boys Only held echoes of the Ronettes’ riveting harmonies, the rock excess of Johnny Thunders and punky pop of the Ramones, ‘Miss You’ a country punk salute to John Wayne and ‘Weekend’ belatedly acknowledged as an edgy pop master- piece. Suicidal Tendencies's debut has been regarded by critics as one of the most influential punk rock albums of all time and has inspired an untold number of influential musicians. "Suicidal Tendencies" has also been cited as an influence or favorite album by each of the "big four" of thrash metal (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax) as well as California punk bands such as The Offspring and Nofx. Red colored vinyl includes original lyric sheet. In 1982 Suicidal Tendencies emerged from Venice, CA, with a dedicated audience among area skaters and surfers. As they established themselves on the Los Angeles punk scene, the group released their self-titled debut on Frontier Records with songs like 'Institutionalized,' 'Fascist Pig,' and 'Suicide's an Alternative.' "Suicidal Tendencies" became the bestselling American punk album of all time and launched the band into their long-lasting career. 'Institutionalized' has been referenced in many other songs, mostly its quote "all I wanted was a Pepsi". It is referenced in the Sage Francis song 'Slow Down Gandhi,' Limp Bizkit also referenced it in the song 'Stuck', also the lines "All I wanted was a Pepsi " are also quoted near the ending of the Cypress Hill song 'How I Could Just Kill a Man,' and Body Count recorded a cover version of 'Institutionalized', with new lyrics written by singer Ice-T, called 'Institutionalized 2014.' Suicidal Tendencies became the chameleons of aggressive rock 'n' roll. Starting with their debut album on Frontier Records in 1983, the band progressed from the punk rock genre into heavy metal/thrash. Throughout this transformation, singer, founder, and leader Mike Muir broadcast his own message with wit and wisdom to anyone that would listen. After the video for 'Institutionalized' broke through the MTV airwaves as the first hardcore video for the channel, the song gained further notoriety on the soundtrack for the cult film "Repo Man" in 1984. The original album continues to be a perennial punk rock best seller due to its wide appeal and catchy tunes. Every song on it is great. It's a perfect crossover between hardcore punk and metal.

Naked Raygun release their first album since the 1990's on Clear vinyl! Chicago punk legends Naked Raygun – famously, the first live band Dave Grohl ever saw – are releasing their first studio album since the 1990's Raygun...Naked Raygun The album, Over The Overlords, is also the band's first release since the sad passing of bassist Pierre Kezdy.
