This reissue marks the eighth release in the remaster campaign, re-launching the Bad Brains Records label imprint. In coordination with the band, Org Music has overseen the restoration and remastering of the iconic Bad Brains' recordings. The audio was mastered by Dave Gardner and pressed at Furnace Record Pressing.

This is Fugazi's debut record, released in 1988. These 7 songs were later combined with the 6 tracks from the Margin Walker EP and released on the 13-Songs Maxi CD. What is there to say about SS DECONTROL’s long out-of-print 1982 debut, The Kids Will Have Their Say, that hasn’t already been written? Youth OF Today was initially active from 1985 to 1990 before reforming in 2010. The band played a major role in establishing the “youth-crew” subculture of hardcore, both espousing and evolving the philosophies of the straight-edge and vegetarian lifestyles. Formed in Danbury, Connecticut, by two members of the hardcore band Violent Children, Ray Cappo (vocals) and John Porcelly (aka Porcell, guitar) were aiming to start a straight-edge band at a time when most old-school straight-edge bands had disbanded. Having difficulty finding a bassist and drummer, Ray and Porcell found help from two high-school friends, Graham Phillips and Darren Pesce, who had played with Porcell in a band called THE Young Republicans in the past. In 1986, Underdog vocalist Richie Birkenhead joined the band on second guitar. With this lineup, the first Youth OF Today full-length album was recorded, Break Down The Walls. More than just an album, it’s an anthem for a way of life.

Remastered and reissued vinyl version of what should've been one of the first 10 records you ever bought. Named as a reference to some of Freud's ideas concerning sexuality, this release marked something of a departure from the somewhat macho, hardcore punk image that The Feeding of the 5000 & Stations of the Crass had given the group. Featuring more obviously complex musical arrangements, this release showcases exclusively female vocals provided by EVE Libertine and JOY DE Vivre. The album addressed feminist issues and once again attacked the institutions of "the system" such as marriage and sexual repression.

"Stations of the Crass is the second album by Crass, released in 1979. The record, originally released as a double 12", includes live tracks from a gig recorded at the Pied Bull pub in Islington, London, on August 7, 1979. The first three sides contain the studio tracks and play at 45 rpm, while the final side comprises the live material and plays at 33 rpm. The album's title is not only a pun on the Catholic rite of the Stations of the Cross (such jibes against the religious establishment were typical of Crass), but is also a reference to the graffiti campaign that the band had been conducting around London's underground railway system, the cover artwork depicting a wall at Bond Street tube station that had allegedly been 'decorated' by them. Although the album met mixed critical reception at first, it managed to sell at least 20,000 copies within two weeks.”

Pressed in an ultra limited number of 200 back in 1980. Ervin Berlin was the work of Ervin Shuemake (a late 20s acid rocker) and two young punks named Jeff and TOM THE Bomb. Ervin had cut his teeth playing guitar on the crazy Terry Brooks "strange" Translucent World LP back in 1973 and spent the remainder of the 70s in various acid, hard, and prog rock bands throughout Central Florida. He met the younger punk duo of Jeff and "The Bomb" at end of 79 beginning of 80 and decided to take a stab at the punk craze with his two new acquaintances. Soon the trio was at a country and western studio in Winter Haven recording the Ervin Berlin single between sessions for possible Bellamy Brothers tracks. The blending of Ervin's acid rock chops and Jeff and Tom's thuggish punk approach resulted in this KBD space punk stomper. Equal parts Blue Cheer, Debris, Sacramento's Ozzie, and late 70s Hawkind. The 7" was pressed, a few house parties were played, and all parties went separate ways. 42 years later we are kicking off Total Punk Archives with a reissue of this lost Orlando classic. 100% Total Punk!!

Emerging out of Amsterdam's vibrant squat scene in 1979, The Ex – a name chosen for the ease and speed with which it could be spray-painted onto a wall – have for four decades been an entirely self-sustaining musical entity, charting a course through the global underground with a spirit of freedom and radical exploration.

Blueprints For A Blackout, The Ex's fifth album and first double LP, combines caustic studio experimentations and loose songs from their gripping live-set at the time. The band consisted of singer G.W. Sok, guitarist Terrie Ex, two new recruits on bass, Luc and Yoke, and drummer Sabien Witteman, along with a plethora of guests including Mekons' Jon Langford and long-serving sound engineer Dolf Planteijdt, among others.

Originally released in 1984 on the band's own Pig Brother Productions, Blueprints veers from jagged punk explosions to sharply focused improvisations featuring field recordings that would become a hallmark of their subsequent forays into free jazz and experimental music. The overall effect is not unlike the menace of a slowly building winter storm.

Tracks like "Rabble With A Cause," "U.S. Hole" and "Scrub That Scum" stand out as exemplars of this phase of The Ex. Comparisons can be made to contemporaries Einstürzende Neubauten, NoMeansNo and Svätsox as well as later Crass label bands.

"Monolith" is the second studio album by the British crust punk band Amebix, originally released in 1987 and now made available again by Back On Black on limited edition blood red vinyl!

Formed as "The Band With No Name", Amebix's original run was from 1978 to 1987, during which time they released three EPs and two full-length LPs. "Monolith", the band's second studio album, was originally released in 1987. Shortly after its release, Amebix disbanded, and "Monolith" would be their final studio album until they reunited in 2008. By being one of the first bands to blend anarcho-punk and heavy metal music, Amebix are often cited as one of the key bands that helped to create the crust punk genre. Such notable bands as Sepultura, Neurosis and Deviated Instinct have paid homage to the band.

The Dead Boys debut studio album - “Young, Loud and Snotty” was recorded and released in 1977 and quickly became one of the definitive US Punk Rock albums!

Signing to Dave Goodman’s fledgling punk imprint, The Label, Eater issued three singles before their greatly anticipated debut album, which has since been hailed as an all-time classic; pointing their fingers at upper-class twits and taking the piss out of themselves and their fans on “No Brains,” the album also features two Velvet Underground covers and an unusual David Bowie adaptation, all delivered in no-holds-barred triple time. If you mention Heresy's 'Face Up To It!' album many people will tell you what a great HC album it was but, let down by horrendous production. Now, 30 years since it was recorded, the band undertook a mammoth project to make the album finally sound how they had envisaged. The original multi track master tapes were unearthed and baked to allow a transfer of all the raw recorded material and for the band to do a total ground up restoration/remix on not only the original album, but also the rest of the session that included the bonus tracks originally only released on the Japanese version of the album 'Voice Your Opinion'. To say that the results have been remarkable would be an understatement and have exceeded the band's own expectations.

Formed in Lewisham, southeast London, punk band the Business joined the Oi! scene after supporting the Four Skins in 198l. Debut single ‘Harry May’ hit the Indie charts before the group disintegrated, leading frontman Micky Fitz to recruit new members. Then, in 1987, original guitarist Nick Kent joined Fitz for heavy metal side project UK, with former Tank drummer Mark Brabbs, channelling their love of Ac/dc, Motorhead and Rose Tattoo. As Kent goes all-out with the hard rock solos and Fitz aims for the melodic, this is a great slice of the new wave of British heavy metal, and a startling surprise for all Business fans!

By the early 80s punk had become something else compared to what it was when Year Zero stabbed a flag in the sand and established ‘War!’ on boredom and normality. You could argue that in 1982 when Endangered Species arrived...UK Subs were very much that. The vanguard of the second wave. A crucial nook in the subculture. Still alive. Still kicking. Still prowling around the town with their best point yet to be proven. From Ambition, essentially an annihilated bluegrass-skank version of the Stones’ Satisfaction, to Indie Chart hit single Countdown and the atomic sonics of a post punk dub attack in Ice Age, all blistering guitar razors that chime against the night as well as chew it up, it's easy to see both why Charlie Harper considers the group's fifth LP to be their strongest and Guns ‘n’ Roses covered Down on the Farm.

"Why?" is the debut album by hardcore punk legends Discharge, originally released in 1981. Upon it's initial release it peaked at Number 1 in the UK indie album chart. When it comes to classic hardcore punk, Discharge are truly one of the all-time greats.

Best Before 1984 is a compilation of Crass' singles and other tracks, released in 1986, including lyrics and a booklet ('...In Which Crass Voluntarily 'Blow Their Own'") which details the history of the band in their own words. The album was named in reference to the notion that 1984 was the band's 'sell by date', the year that they had often publicly stated that they would split up. Indeed, the band ceased gigging and recording in that year. For many years, there were plans to release an expanded edition of Best Before 1984, which will include currently unavailable material (such as the 'Merry Crassmas' and 'Whodunnit?' singles) and rarities, in the same vein as the 'Crassical Collection' re-releases of the band's albums. These plans finally came to fruition in 2019, with the announcement of an expanded two-disc version of the album."
