Percussionist Pecker came to Jamaica in 1980 to reissue the Japanese DUB original work he created with The Wailers and Sly & Robbie!

Pecker Power, Japan's first dub album, was produced in 1980 by Pecker, a percussionist who created Japan's first salsa band, Orquesta del Sol. This stateless dub sound was born from sessions with The Wailers at Bob Marley's studio ``tuff Gong'' and sessions with Sly and Robbie at ``channel One'' and was titled ``21st Century Dub.'' A strange masterpiece that was distributed in the United States in 1987 and has since become known all over the world.

■Japanese dub originator Dub, which originated in Jamaica, was adopted by British rock bands such as The Clash and the Rolling Stones in 1980. Pecker produced this dub work around the same time. By the way, Mute Beat, known as Japan's first dub band, started their activities in 1982. This shows how advanced this work is.

■Authentic dub session This work is based on a session with The Wailers at the ``tuff Gong'' studio and a session with Sly & Robbie at the ``channel One'' studio. The former includes the rhythm section of the Barrett brothers from Aston and Carlton, Marcia Griffiths from I-3, Judy Mowat, and other fierce performers who supported Bob Marley's golden age. The latter was gaining momentum and popularity at the time, featuring an ironclad rhythm section of Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare, who were still in their 20s, and Augustus Pablo on piano. Additionally, Rico Rodriguez, the trombonist from The Specials, flew in from Berlin for both sessions. The two teams, who viewed each other as rivals at the time, competed with their high-potential performances, resulting in a miraculous recording that brought out their best performance.

■Started as a sequel to Katsumi Watanabe's album "kylyn" Initially, the plan was to record in New York as the second part of the ``kylyn'' session, but the core members, Kazumi Watanabe and Ryuichi Sakamoto, became busy, so the plan was changed to Jamaica recording as Pecker's solo work. In addition to Pecker, Minako Yoshida and Naoya Matsuoka will be traveling to Jamaica. The legendary session mentioned above was held. After returning to Japan, Kenji Omura's guitar was overdubbed at Columbia Studios.

■World-recognized DUB from Tokyo The album ``Pecker Power'' (released on July 25, 1980) and the 10-inch album ``Instant Rasta'' (released on September 25, 1980) that were completed in this way received high praise in some quarters, but their content was timeless. Perhaps because we were too proactive, it did not lead to sales. However, in 1987, a cassette was released under the title ``21st Century Dub'' by the New York label ``roir'', and the unique, stateless DUB received high praise. It was later released on CD in 1999 and became known to DUB enthusiasts around the world.

"Find Me Finding You" is the first album Sadier released as Laetitia Sadier Source Ensemble. French drummer Emmanuel Mario and Brazilian bassist Xavi Munoz, both of whom played on Sadier"s previous solo albums, are present throughout, as is David Thayer, the filmmaker and musician who co-ran the group Little Tornados with Sadier. Opener "Undying Love for Humanity" burbles with intertwining guitar lines, stuttering keyboard signatures, and bouncing vocal harmonies - it recalls French yé-yé 45s and the knotty exotica of the Free Design. The rest of the album is dotted lightly with krautrock droning, Latin percussion, and chiming twee. Sadier"s lyrical pattern continues on Find Me, as her lines revolve around tyrants, indoctrination, and states of conflict. Dark Entries is honored to finally present the first ever official vinyl reissue of Space Museum by Solid Space. Solid Space was the British duo of Dan Goldstein (keyboards, vocals) and Matthew "MAF" Vosburgh (guitar, bass, keyboards, vocals) formed in 1980. Dan and Matthew met at the age of 11 while attending school in north London. In late 1978 at at the age of 14, they formed EXHIBIT 'A' with Paul “Platypus” and Andrew “Lunchbox” Bynghall. They recorded two EPs in 1979 and 1980, self-released on Irrelevant Wombat Records and appeared on The Thing From The Crypt compilation. After the dissolution of the group, Mathew started taking his guitar over to Dan’s house where he’d play his Casio MT-30 and they would record songs. Eventually a second hand drum machine and Wasp synthesizer were acquired from classified ads in Melody Maker and the Solid Space sound was born. By this time they were just turning 18 and finally found the freedom to make the music they’d had in their heads. Over the course of the next two years the band assembled eleven bedroom recordings that would become one of the most cherished DIY obscurities of its kind. Their debut album Space Museum was released in 1982 on cassette by In Phaze Records. The band's music and lyrics were heavily indebted to science fiction, in particular the 1960s television series Doctor Who. Space Museum is an unveiling of atmospheric, minimalist post punk supported by bright melodies. The music combines drum machines and synths with acoustic guitar and toy drums whilst also experimenting with samples between tracks. Representing a bubbling spirit within the underground, they foreshadowed an entire world of independent music which would emerge across the '80s and well into the '90s. For this reissue we’ve included two bonus tracks from the band’s archive, “Platform 6” originally released on the B-side of the second single by Exhibit ‘A’, this song features only Dan and Matthew and is the first Solid Space track ever recorded. “Tutti Lo Sanno” is a cover of In Phaze label mates Marine Girls, though the lyrics have been changed to suit the gender of the new singer.

Each song has been carefully remastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The record is sleeved in a replica of the cassette artwork featuring the Cybermen and Jamie from the Doctor Who episode "The Wheel in Space". “Talk That Talk” is the sixth studio album by Barbadian singer Rihanna, released on November 2011, by Def Jam Recordings and SRP Records. “Talk That Talk” received generally positive reviews from music critics, and debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200. As of June 2015, the album has sold 1.15 million copies in the United States.

“All The Light Above It Too” is the seventh studio album by singer-songwriter Jack Johnson.

Jack Hody Johnson (born 1975) is a singer-songwriter, musician, actor, record producer, documentary filmmaker and a former professional surfer from USA. Johnson is known primarily for his work in the soft rock and acoustic genres. In 2001, he achieved commercial success after the release of his debut album, “Brushfire Fairytales”. Johnson has reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart with his albums “Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies” for the Film “Curious George” in 2006, “Sleep Through the Static” in 2008, “To the Sea” in 2010, and “From Here to Now to You” in 2013. Johnson's “In Between Dreams” album also peaked at number 2 on the chart in 2005 and again in 2013.

Johnson is active in the ecology and sustainability movement, often with an ocean-centric focus. Johnson and wife Kim created the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation and the Kōkua Hawaii Foundation. In 2008 Johnson adopted the concept of greening (reduce and reuse), and donated 100% of the proceeds of the “Sleep Through the Static” tour to the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation. Similarly, the proceeds from the 2010 “To the Sea” album tour went to All At Once, a Johnson backed collaborative of greening charities promoting fan involvement.
