Formed in Los Angeles in 1965, The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band was considered by many to be Calfornia's answer to the Velvet Underground. The group created psych/rock music that was both fragile and dreamy. 'Part One' (the band's second LP!) was originally released in 1967 on Frank Sinatra's Reprise Records. Though band leader Bob Markley and his companions didn't achieve the fame or notoriety of other bands from the area, they have nonetheless achieved cult status among collectors. For the first time, this legendary records gets reissued in MONO, with sound from the original master tapes.

Bobby Darin's Atco albums, original copies of which were pressed with yellow 'harp' labels, are collector's items today. He remained with the Label until switching to Capitol in 1962, by which time he had released no fewer than 13 long-players including 'At The Copa', 'Two Of A Kind' (with Johnny Mercer), the dance themed 'Twist With Bobby Darin' and 'Bobby Darin Sings Ray Charles'. The tracks were arranged and conducted by Claus Ogerman, accompanied by a studio orchestra. Along with Jobim's original compositions, the album features three standards from the 'Great American Songbook, ("Change Partners", "I Concentrate on You", and "Baubles, Bangles and Beads") arranged in the bossa nova style. This new edition contains additional bonus tracks.

With a million orders for “I Want To Hold Your Hand” in the UK, the single shot to #1 in December 1963 knocking The Beatles’ own “She Loves You” from the top spot. This was to be the first official single for The Beatles on Capitol records and was backed by an extraordinary marketing campaign. With “I Saw Her Standing There” replacing “This Boy” for the other side, the single was rush-released in the USA in January 1964, climbing to #1 on the Hot 100 by February 1st. Remaining on the chart for 15 weeks, it went on to sell more than 12 million copies worldwide, and with that, an unstoppable force was unleashed and Beatlemania had truly arrived. This RSD Black Friday reissue single was cut from the original US version of the master tapes –- the same masters as used for the albums in the 1964 box set -- by Kevin Reeves in Nashville, using an all-analog cutting process and on the same 1970 lathe that was in Capitol and has been used on many classic album cuts over the years.

First time ever reissue of The A-jaes hyper-rare 1964 single on Oak Records, only 99 pressed. Killer high velocity pounder. Plus, also adding two unreleased tracks from a one-of-a-kind 1965 acetate. An alternate and superior version of “I’m Leaving You” plus “Maybe It’s The Way You Said Goodbye”. All four songs will be released on a 7” 45 e.p. as Jaw067. The A-Jaes feature Trevor White later of Jook and Sparks on guitar and his big brother Geoff White on lead vocals and harp. 400 copies on black vinyl.

The Voice of Scott McKenzie is the debut album by Scott McKenzie, released in 1967. The timeless "San Francisco" is the featuring track on the collection but listen to what Scott does with John Phillips' "Twelve-Thirty", which went on to be a hit record for Phillips' own group, "The Mamas And Papas". McKenzie's rendition of Donovan's "Celeste" has a languid beauty, while Tim Hardin's "Reason to Believe" is one of the best received by the song.
