Alexia (real name Alessia Aquilani) was born in La Spezia (Italy). In 1990 she joined the DWA Team, first as a studio vocalist, singing on the hit song "Please don't go" by Double You, then she took part in the "ice MC" project, a musical project with a rapper and Alexia as singer. All of Europe was dancing and singing to the songs "Take away the colour", "Think about the way" and "It's a rainy day" and everybody became familiar with Alexia's beautiful clear voice. In 1995 Robyx decided to compose a song especially for her. "Me and you" was her first single and within just days of its release, its presence was felt across Europe, reaching no.1 in Italy and in Spain. As a follow-up to "Me and you", the new single, "Summer is crazy", came out in 1996. The song reached the top of the charts and became the signature tune for "Festivalbar", the most popular Italian summer music festival. It was no.1 in Italy, Spain and Finland, top 20 in France, top 40 in the rest of Europe and was one of the biggest summer successes of 1996. As summer drew to a close it was time to create a new song fit for Alexia's incredible voice. In November 1996 Alexia released her third single, “Number One”. It proved to be a smash hit, going to no.1 in Italy and many other countries. In January 1997 recording of her first album “Fan Club” began. It was released in May 1997 together with a new single, "Uh la la la", for the imminent summer season. "Uh la la la" was the most played and danced song of that summer! It reached no.1 in Italy, Spain and Finland and made top ten throughout the rest of Europe. The album sold more than six hundred thousand copies and was awarded many gold and platinum discs.

The British shoegaze pop band Engineers was formed in London in 2003 by Mark Peters, Simon Phipps, Andrew Sweeney and Dan MacBean. MacBean is also known as the guitarist in The Shining. After being signed to Echo Records, the band released their self-titled debut album in 2005. The album features the acclaimed tracks “Home”, “Forgiveness” and “Waved On”. The latter was produced by Tim Holmes, who worked with The Chemical Brothers, Primal Scream and multiple albums for Death In Vegas. Engineers is available as a limited edition on white coloured vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve.

Originally released in 1990, ‘Groovy Train’ was the second single by The Farm. It was the first single to be released from their debut album ‘Spartacus’, which celebrated its 30th Anniversary in 2021 and was produced by Madness frontman Suggs and Terry Farley. With its distinctive guitar intro ‘Groovy Train’ was the band’s second biggest single, charting at Number 6 on the UK Singles Chart. The single is being reissued for the first time on transparent orange vinyl, exclusively for Record Store Day, and includes three remixes by Terry Farley and Mark Saunders.

Reissued for the first time since 1996 and on transparent blue vinyl exclusively for Record Store Day, ‘Hyperactive’ was the first single taken from Thomas Dolby’s second album ‘The Flat Earth’. Originally released in 1984, it was conceived as a potential song for Michael Jackson but was eventually recorded and released by Dolby himself. ‘Hyperactive’ is Thomas Dolby’s highest charting UK single, achieving a position of Number 17. This reissue of a 1984 12” features an extended version of the track, plus remastered 7” version and remastered original b-side ‘White City’.

'Left Of The Middle' is the 1997 debut album by three-time Grammy nominee, songwriter, actor and model Natalie Imbruglia. Spurred by the success of the hit single 'Torn', the album became an instant worldwide success, peaking the charts in Australia and reaching Top 10 positions in album charts in the US, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Canada and Italy. 'Left Of The Middle' went certified platinum just five weeks after its release date, eventually selling over 7 million copies worldwide. Imbruglia's first album became the largest debut for a new, alternative pop-rock female artist in history, selling more in its first week than records by Alanis Morissette, Meredith Brooks and Fiona Apple combined. 'Left of The Middle' is finally available on vinyl for the very first time since the album's original release in 1997. Besides the huge hit 'Torn' (85 million views on youtube), the album contains multiple classic tunes like 'Big Mistake' (number 2 in the UK), 'Smoke' (Top 5 in the UK) and 'Wishing I Was There'.

Milva and the French Song: neither of them needed further consecration. And it is precisely for this reason that, combined in this album, they both manage to touch the highest points of music. There are many names honored in this album, first of all Edith Piaf and then the generation of songwriters who followed her... Milva, along with the “Quintetto Argentino di Daniel Binelli”, with this album, express the different shades of Astor Piazzolla's tango. Milva was the preferred interpreter of the late Piazzolla. Why this was so becomes clear in these recordings: intense music, passionately interpreted. The diva is accompanied by the “Quintetto Argentino di Daniel Binelli”, who is also represented with his own compositions. Also on this recording is the piece "Che Tango Che" which Piazzolla wrote especially for Milva. New Flava Volume 1 is an audacious project birthed in Austin Aggrey-Odoom's brain in the Spring of 1995. Austin, being a devoted Christian as well as a massive music fan, was a regular at different churches across the London Area during the mid-90's. He then connected with many young aspiring Gospel/Soul/R&B singers and had the idea to produce a Gospel album that could appeal to a younger crowd, mixing US R&B influences, to create a new kind of Christian R&B that could have radio potential, while showcasing U.K.'s underground Soul talents from the Gospel community. His love of God and passion for music would finally merge into this hybrid compilation project called New Flava Volume 1. With the help of producer Paul Cumberbatch, they recorded a selection of the finest voices that Austin could find amongst the Gospel circuit. Inspired by popular US R&B/Hip-Hop artists of that time, they aimed to recreate a heavy and well-polished sound that would resonate with the fans of Mary J. Blige, Joe and SWV amongst others. The result is quite mind-blowing, Cumberbatch's top-notch productions make a strong foundation to let the artists shine throughout the compilation, such as Tyrone Henry on the instant-classic « Time For You And Me » or the label-favorite « Heaven Is In My Home » by Jasmine Kirby. The U.K. has always been a great hunting ground for Soul talents, and this compilation is yet another example of it.
