Fred Perry teamed up with turntables pioneers Pro-Ject to design three turntables with legendary Fred Perry logos, each based on the colorway of a classic Fred Perry polo shirt. Pro-Ject was founded by Heinz Lichtenegger in 1991 at a time when the CD player was taking over and vinyl was declared dead. He believed that music should be enjoyed in the simplest way possible - on a turntable. Using cutting-edge technology, Pro-Ject creates turntables that not only look stylish, but also feature the finest details. Fred Perry has collaborated exclusively on a hybrid version of two of Pro-Ject's most iconic devices: the Essential and the Debut. The Fred Perry x Pro-Ject Record Deck turntable platter has been customized with Fred Perry's 30-leaf laurel wreath, the Record Deck is equipped with a three-pin UK plug, and the Fred Perry x Pro-Ject turntable was manufactured in the Czech Republic.
