Lucca Leeloo releases his new LP “Prosperous”, the sequel to his debut LP “Beyond Infinity” from 2020. Once again he’s collaborating with Italoconnection and Fred Ventura & Paolo Gozzetti have given the album their own special vintage-modern italo-disco treatment. The lead single “Say Goodbye” is a duet with the french singer and multi artist Pierre Pascual. The main themes of the album revolve around longing, transformation and redemption.

Heading things up is the brand new Jimpster remix of Mistura featuring a tongue in cheek monologue from Canadian poet Jemini. Jimpster’s Jazz'd Up mix starts off stripped right back, based around a 303 bassline, it builds and builds and builds ending with a deep powerful version that satisfies both the soul and dance floor.

Backing this side up is Birdee’s euphoric, piano stomping, hands in the air remix of the ZR classic ‘Do What You Feel’ from 1991. On the flip is Lakeshore Commission's latest floor burner ‘In 2 The Light’ featuring Bluey from Incognito. Shuffling Philly drums, soaring strings and a phunked out bass guitar make for a late night dancefloor heater. Finishing off the 12” is the appearance of Destiny II’s ‘Play 2 Win’ on wax for the first time. It’s a serious menagerie of driving live bass, Prelude style boogie synths & the occasional vocoder. Add in anthemic vocals courtesy of Angela Johnson and you have one of the years most played new disco songs.

The gift that keeps on giving, Purple Disco Machines' 'Exotica (Deluxe Album)' is being treated to some epic remixes of your favourite songs now available on vinyl. Next in line for that special touch, extended mixes of 'At The Disko' and 'Don’t Stop', both certified floor fillers, destined to do damage.

SlothBoogie Records welcomes Deep House maestro DJ Aakmael onto its roster this March with ‘The Hardbody Project’ EP, comprised of four original compositions from the Richmond, US-based artist. Across the past decade and a half DJ Aakmael has unveiled an impressive back catalogue of soul-drenched, dynamic deep house via revered imprints such as Uzuri, Church, Scissor & Thread, Freerange and Second Hand Records amongst many more. Here we see his latest material perfectly interlace with SlothBoogie Records own impressive back catalogue of bumping house and raw deep cuts. Leading the release is ‘Hardbody’, laid out across seven minutes with chopped brass samples, bright key sequences, modulating Moogesque resonant leads and shuffled drums before ‘Track 166’ shifts focus over to a deeper aesthetic via dubbed out chord swells, organic percussion and twinkling piano melodies. The aptly named ‘Deepshyt’ opens the flip side, as the name would suggest employing an amalgamation of deep and entrancing synth work, crisp drums and spoken word vocal chants. ‘Strobe’ then rounds out the release with a more disco-tinged House feel, fusing together funk guitar licks, cinematic strings and a snaking bass groove atop Aakmael’s signature swinging rhythmic feel.

While the B side starts off as openly Funky without compromise, the title is right "Let There Be Funk", followed by a dark Disco Funk track "From The Ghetto" to close this beautiful work. Hot on the heels of Guinu’s modern Brazilian jazz-funk opus Palagô LP, comes an exceptional remix 12’’ of four standout album tracks.

For the A1, Jose Marquez flips the title track into a percussion-heavy and hypnotic Afro-Latin house burner, a masterful future classic of a mix that feels all but destined for late night Louie Vega or Osunlade sets. Faze Action harken back to their early-2000s vibe with their loungey beat-driven reimagining of 'Haja Fé'.

On the flip, RNT stalwart Diogo Strausz takes the angular 'Electromandinga' into the stratosphere, with anthemic synth melodies, rousing bloco percussion and interstellar vocal treatments. Rounding out the EP, well-loved Brazilian producer Carrot Green gives 'Porão de Ferro' an '80s boogie makeover, complete with dubbed out vocals and funky synth bass work over bouncy analog beats.

For their first VA outing Razor-N-Tape have assembled the big guns for an all-exclusive comp. This vinyl sampler features 4 standout tracks from the compilation, and boasts an all-original tracklist by a roster of luminaries from the RNT family - past, present, and future.

It’s party time on the A side, with Dimitri from Paris & DJ Rocca teaming up for Days of A Better Paradise, a stomping, piano-driven, classic house belter. Saucy Lady takes us straight to the disco with Passport to My Love, a soulful, vocal boogie-funk journey into the cosmos.

The B Side features two lower-tempo house jams by RNT artists Misiu & Clive From Accounts. Love Me Do turns a classic melody into a spooky late night anthem, while It’s Not That I Don’t Care brings jazz riffs & bouncy baselines to the downtempo slow-burner.

A collective of musicians led by Barcelona-based producer Miguel Ferre Falcon, Kokoro Disco San first appeared on the RNT radar with their 2019 Isla Fantasia release on Rocafort Records. KDS now brings their uncanny ability to capture the mood and instrumentation of classic disco and soul with the uplifting summer anthem 'Sunshine' and the Candido-esque sonic journey 'Jungle Deep.' Rounding out the EP are two remixes of the title track by label co-head JKriv, who delivers an extended acidic exploration with his Beach Burn Mix, and a bumped up yet loving treatment of the original song with his Spf76 Mix.
