The famous song “Watarase,” full of Japanese flavor, is recorded for the first time on this album. Takeo Moriyama, a renowned jazz drummer, has been a prominent figure in the free jazz scene since the late 1960s, first with the Yosuke Yamashita Trio and more recently with the Kyoto Jazz Sextet. Moriyama's music has garnered a devoted following among both old and new fans. This album, recorded in 1980 with a quartet featuring his close friend Fumio Itabashi, is one of the most famous works in the history of Japanese jazz music. It features a large-scale performance in which stillness and movement are organically intertwined.

Takeo Moriyama, Japan's leading jazz drummer, loved by many new and old fans. Since the late 1960s, he has swept the free jazz world with the Yosuke Yamashita trio. After leaving the group, the radiating heat was condensed into an ensemble, evolving and deepening the musicality in a more melodic and rhythmic direction. And that activity will reach a peak in this work 'Smile'.

"Japanese jazz and Jazz Funk masterpieces are re-released on clear green color vinyl!

A jazz-rock masterpiece by the virtuoso Jiro Inagaki! Beyond jazz and rock. Led by Jiro Inagaki, Soul Media arrived at the ultimate tight, cool groove. As Inagaki himself has said, ""I did black funk,"" his musicality leaped to another dimension by combining the explosiveness of jazz-rock that he had cultivated up to that point with the tenacity and elasticity of black music. Combined with the virtuoso Hiromasa Suzuki's arrangement, the groove is polished, glossy, and shiny. All songs are highlights, such as ""Painted Paradise"" full of dynamism and galloping, ""Breeze"" where funkness and mellowness coexist, and a cover of ""Funky Stuff"" by Kool & the Gang with a low center of gravity and sharpness. It is now a definitive masterpiece that is constantly wanted from all over the world.
text by Yusuke Ogawa (UNIVERSOUNDS/DEEP JAZZ REALITY)"

The sequel was released one year after the previous work ``woman'' was well received. It's an erotic Japanese groove that knows no bounds, with more moaning voices than the previous work, heavy fuzz guitar, piercing organ, and sexy scat! A total concept album consisting of the same song at the beginning and end of both sides.

The first analog reissue of the debut album released in 1985 by the talented singer Mizuki Koyama, who also played in the inimitable lounge band Safari, with the specifications as close as possible to those of the time!

The album was designed by Hiroshi Shinkawa, who introduced the most advanced bracon sound of the time and designed the album with an urban yet songful feel.

This is the first time Jiro Inagaki has featured vocals in this bold take on new rock. The mysterious, blackened rock groove roars out. This jazz-rock work is particularly unique among Jiro Inagaki's works, featuring vocals by Sammy and Yasushi Sawada for the first time, and backed by Masahiko Sato, Kimio Mizutani, Hiro Yanagida, and others.

This is a work by the legendary Jiro Inagaki that represents Japanese jazz-rock. Jiro Inagaki was one of the key musicians in the development of jazz rock in Japan. Inagaki, who felt the limitations of existing jazz music at the time, quickly turned his attention to jazz rock with this work, recorded in 1970. From the opening track, "The Vamp," to the closing track, "Head Rock," Inagaki poured all his ideas and passion into this jazz-rock showcase that leaves no time to exhale. This is a masterpiece that has an overwhelming presence in the history of Japanese jazz.
