Featuring a dazzling score by the inimitable composer Yoko Kanno, this full, multi-volume soundtrack blends the dreamlike and imaginative future sounds of the title's fictional virtual pop idol, Sharon Apple, with the soaring pomp and orchestral splendour of its intense airborne action into an eclectic and astonishing compilation of unrivaled musical accomplishment. Presented over a set of seven 12" vinyl LPs and comprising four collected soundtracks, this Deluxe Edition also contains Macross Plus itself on Blu-ray in both its theatrical and four-part OVA formats, allowing you to fully appreciate the majesty of the music within its native setting. Macross Plus is set in the year 2040 on the distant planet Eden, where former childhood friends Isamu Dyson and Guld Goa Bowman find themselves pitted against each other as test pilots of rival teams in a competition to decide the next generation of variable mecha fighters. The two must also deal with their own unresolved history with mutual love interest, Myung Fang Lone, who has returned as the manager of Sharon Apple, the AI pop star (virturoid) and the galaxy’s biggest singing sensation. When Sharon’s advanced artificial intelligence gains consciousness, Isamu, Myung, and Guld must face their turbulent past and come together as Sharon Apple becomes self-aware and takes control of the Macross battlefortress itself!

The Lost Record is the underground rock 'n’ roll exploitation sci-fi film of this time. Starring Pauline Jorry andf eaturing appearances and contributions from Henry Rollins, Emmett Kelly, Michelle Mae, Paul Zone, Howie Pyro, Kid Congo, Crush, Automatic Band and scores of other underground notables, The Lost Record—directed and produced by Ian F. Svenonius and Alexandra Cabral—is a film set in a murky indeterminate future / past world where one record, The #1 Record, holds sway over society. In this world The #1 Record is unavoidable and ubiquitous; pumped out nonstop on the airwaves, intercom, and television with its irresistible and infectious message of totalitarian consumer control.

Magnificent music is what takes an RPG from “great” to “one of the classics,” and one thing’s for sure: Sabotage Studio understands what makes the classics. On top of their in-house composer Eric W. Brown working full time on the brilliant music for their modern RPG opus Sea of Stars, they enrolled Yasunori Mitsuda as a guest composer. Anything less than a legendary score simply wouldn’t do.

We at iam8bit are humbled to play a part in bringing that score to life, here for you. This is the Sea of Stars 2xLP, a veritable epic on Solar Orange and Lunar Blue wax. It’s the score to Sea of Stars, with all the swelling highs, whimsical diversions, and touching twists present in the game, forever enshrined on vinyl for your home listening pleasure. Put it on to focus on work or just relax after a long day of grinding.

And of course, no iam8bit album would be complete without stunning cover art. Bryce Kho’s character design is as stunning as the music itself; simple, yet immediately evocative and recognizable - just the way a modern classic should be.

The soundtrack of the 2001 movie "Water Boys," starring Satoshi Tsumasaki and later adapted into a TV drama, has been released on LP for the first time. This special edition features artwork that mimics the original CD. It includes the theatrical score by Gakuji Matsuda and Shimizu Hitomi, as well as the music from the artistic swimming scene.

Featuring compositions by Elmer Bernstein and Randy Newman and produced by Lenny Waronker, this soundtrack reminds us why music is as key a character to any film as an actor. Bernstein’s lush orchestrations that lend the true Western sound to this beloved comedy farce, contrasted with the unforgettable silliness of Randy Newman’s compositions like “My Little Buttercup” and “The Singing Bush” combine to deliver absolute joy alongside unforgettable tunes.

The original soundtrack to the latest film by director Takuya Uchiyama, "The Young Strangers," will be released on LP. Music by Christian Dihn Gulino, Ryo Matsui, Yosuke Kakegawa and Kai Ishikawa. In addition to the songs in the film, the album contains a total of 13 tracks, including conversations between characters, sound effects, and a bonus track. Designed by Tsuguya Inoue, who has worked with Ryuichi Sakamoto: "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence," "b-2 Unit," YMO: "SERVICE," Comme des Garcons, etc. A piano cover ver. of the closing song by Christian Dihn Gulino is included only on this vinyl release. Analog mastered sound source recorded on tape deck.

The Elephant 6 Recording Co is the official soundtrack for the acclaimed documentary of the same name. The film highlights the legacy of one of the most storied DIY scenes in all of indie rock, birthing such bands as Neutral Milk Hotel, The Olivia Tremor Control, and The Apples in Stereo. This soundtrack follows its 2023 wide release and contains music from the film, as well as a pair of unreleased tracks from The Olivia Tremor Control’s forthcoming third and final record. The release is a carefully curated sampling of what has made this beautifully inscrutable scene so enduring and inspiring to musicians all over the world. The vinyl comes in an unique, custom gatefold jacket.

The Dive is a 2023 scuba-diving movie, starring Sophie Lowe (Medieval) and Louisa Krause (Billions), with much of the footage - underwater and topside - shot in the popular diving destination of Malta. The score to The Dive is composed by Volker Bertelmann & Raffael Seyfried. Bertelmann is a German composer who is also known under the name Hauschka. In 2022, he won an Academy Award and BAFTA for his work on All Quiet on the Western Front. For the soundtrack for The Dive, he teamed up with Raffael Seyfried, who previously scored the documentary The Lost Souls Of Syria.
