The original soundtrack of the Japanese hit drama "Love Generation," featuring Takuya Kimura, Takako Matsu, and other stars, is set to be re-released in a limited edition on clear red vinyl. Originally broadcast in 1997 and the drama achieved an average viewer rating of 30.8%.

The urban and poignant music that instantly transports you to those iconic scenes was created by the music unit Cagnet, led by Daisuke Hinata, setting a new standard in the world of TV soundtracks.

(LP, Vinyl with OBI-strip, 500 copies inc. booklet) Through emotive ambient textures, granular synths, and field recordings, rousay reimagines the Slovak animated fairy tale with a brand-new score. The Bloody Lady stands as a stunning masterpiece of Slovak animation.

A release show is scheduled in De Minard (Ghent, Belgium) on November 13.

Electroacoustic composer claire rousay (US) has announced her upcoming album, ‘The Bloody Lady’, featuring the reimagined score she wrote for Viktor Kubal's 1980 eponymous animated film. Kubal (1923-1997), a pioneering Slovak animator, is considered one of the most influential animation filmmakers of the 20th century.

Known as a singular artist who challenges conventions in experimental and ambient music forms, rousay crafted the score in her home studio immediately after moving to LA over the course of 2023.

The inaugural performance, a screening of the film accompanied by rousay performing the score live, took place at Videodroom / Film Fest Gent 2023 in Ghent, Belgium. The project has since been developed into an 11-track album with alternating themes that evoke the film’s atmosphere while standing on its own as a distinct sonic work.

‘The Bloody Lady’ is set to be released on November 8 via VIERNULVIER Records, the label known for its audiovisual collaborations with artists like Miaux, Hieroglyphic Being, and Mattias De Craene.

The record comes with an extensive booklet including liner notes.

This is the Frog Detective Vinyl Soundtrack, a 1xLP packed with howling saxophones, spine-tingling staccatos, and all sorts of mysterious, moody blues, courtesy of maestro Dan Golding (Untitled Goose Game, Push Me Pull You).

In 1994, the legendary Jamaican trombonist, the late Rico Rodriguez, was invited from his homeland to participate in the recording, featuring Fishmans members Kinichi Motegi (Dr.), Yuzuru Kashiwabara (B.), and Hakase (Key.), as well as DJ Barri-K from Gas Boys with his impressive turntable skills. REC & MIX were handled by ZAK. Although titled as a movie soundtrack, it is essentially a solo album by Kazufumi Kodama. Thirty years after its release, in 2024, the sound remains timeless.

**Synopsis:** Kazuya Kinoshita is a fairly ordinary college student who has just been dumped by his girlfriend, who decided to move on. Devastated and feeling at rock bottom, he decides to download the new trending app, Diamond, on his phone and rents a new girlfriend to feel better. He ends up meeting a certain Chizuru Mizuhara, a young woman who, at first glance, seems to have everything he's looking for.

This vinyl includes songs dedicated to each girl from the anime (Ruka, Chizuru, Nami, Sumi) sung by their respective Japanese voice actresses, as well as the corresponding instrumental versions. Each song reflects the adventures, thoughts, and emotions that each of the girls experiences.

"Still Life” is a TV program that vividly blends Eguchi's stylish and captivating illustrations with music sound-produced by musician/saxophonist Kiyoshi Miyaura. The program known to those in the know that aired for about five minutes before 11 p.m. on Saturday nights from the late 80s to the early 00s. This is the second of three soundtracks illustrated by Hisashi Eguchi and Sho Kitagawa, and is the most difficult one to find.

This music composed by Milivoje Markovic and recorded in 1972 & 1976 represents the epitome for original Jazz Funk music recorded in ex-Yugoslavia. The series had people glued to their television screens awaiting for their own ‘Inglorious basterds’, the Belgrade guerilla group, to appear gunning down nazis by the hundreds - backed by an original deep funk soundtrack.

The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to 2024 horror film Eight Eyes from director Austin Jennings (director/co-writer of Shudder’s The Last Drive-In With Joe Bob Briggs) which world premiered at the 2023 Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal, shot on 16mm and Super 8 on location in Serbia and Macedonia and starring Scream Queen Emily Sweet (v/h/s ‘99). The original score is composed by Devon Goldberg and performed by Morricone Youth. The film was co-produced by Vinegar Syndrome as the Blu-ray reissue/restoration label’s first entirely original production and is distributed by Shudder in North America and Donau Film in Europe. The film is available for streaming on Shudder as of September 23, 2024. Pressed on Eyeball Clear with Red Blood Vessel Swirl 150g vinyl.

Morricone Youth was formed in 1999 with a mission statement to compose, re-interpret, perform and/or record "music written for the moving image" (film/tv soundtracks, library music, etc.) in all incarnations from playing shows dedicated to specific composers/film genres in rock clubs/performance spaces with projections to live scoring films in theaters. Over the years, they've released CDs, toured and had residencies at the Knitting Factory, Cbgb, Tonic and, most recently, Nitehawk Cinema in Williamsburg. Brooklyn Academy of Music commissioned the group to write an original score to Hitchcock's The Lodger performed Halloween 2013. Philadelphia Museum of Art commissioned a piece for its Marcel Duchamp exhibit in 2012. Band members have scored for documentaries, short films, etc. and include current/past members of bands Creedle, Crash Worship, Pain Teens, Pronto (Wilco side band), aMINIATURE and THE Rugburns. Morricone Youth's original six song (25-min.) score for George A. Romero's 1968 Zombie classic in an edition of 500 copies with download. Mastered at 45 rpm.

The soundtrack of the 2004 TV drama "Orange Days," starring Satoshi Tsumasaki and Kou Shibasaki, has been released on LP for the first time! The music, composed by Naoki Sato, who won the Best Music Award at the 29th Japan Academy Awards for "always 3-Chome no Yuhi," is now available in this special edition.

The original soundtrack to the latest film by director Takuya Uchiyama, "The Young Strangers," will be released on LP. Music by Christian Dihn Gulino, Ryo Matsui, Yosuke Kakegawa and Kai Ishikawa. In addition to the songs in the film, the album contains a total of 13 tracks, including conversations between characters, sound effects, and a bonus track. Designed by Tsuguya Inoue, who has worked with Ryuichi Sakamoto: "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence," "b-2 Unit," YMO: "SERVICE," Comme des Garcons, etc. A piano cover ver. of the closing song by Christian Dihn Gulino is included only on this vinyl release.
