It was great when it all began! and 45 years later it’s still great! So in celebration of this phenomenon; a Remastered 45th Anniversary edition of The Rocky Horror Picture Disc of the Original Movie Soundtrack of The Rocky Horror Picture Show was created. It's a one-of-a-kind featuring an amazing photograph of Frank-N-Furter on one side and theater marquees on the other side where The Rocky Horror Picture Show has played or is currently playing.

Rocky IV was originally released in 1985. The soundtrack was successful on the strength of two top-five singles, "Burning Heart", and "Living In America" by James Brown. "Living In America" showed the decadence, extravagance, and sheer bloated pompousness of the 80's. Perhaps the soundtrack's most popular tune is "Eye Of The Tiger". The album reached the Top Ten on the Billboard 200 Album Chart and was certified Platinum by the RIAA.

Only five songs here were featured prominently in Quentin Tarantino's rousing crime film ("Little Green Bag," "Hooked on a Feeling," "I Gotcha," "Stuck in the Middle with You," and "Coconut"), but the record includes Steven Wright's introductions from the film, as well as Tarantino's infamous interpretation of the meaning of Madonna's "Like a Virgin" and Harvey Keitel's monologue on how to rob a jewelry store. Padding out the rest of the disc are three new songs that were heard in passing in the film.

Delicate marine themes alternate with hypnotic and abyssal vibes with droning effects, elegance reflected in crystal clear waves. A little jewel for fans of early Electronic music and Library junkies.

In 1968, the future composer of The Things of Life (Les Choses de la Vie) seriously considered becoming a director. He wrote and shot Florence, a short film influenced by the New Wave and composed its soundtrack, under the benevolent eye of Vladimir Cosma. The first spectators of the film are unanimous: failing to have seen a visionary cinematographic opus, they have discovered a real movie musician. From this first attempt, Philippe Sarde imposes his melodic talent on the picture and initiates his sense of counterpoint. This founding soundtrack, however, remained in the boxes for more than 50 years, before finding a place of choice on the B side of our album. To open the ball, we offer you another forgotten score: the almost unused score of Loulou, Maurice Pialatís cult classic. In 1980, the naturalist director planned to use original music to accompany the wanderings of his sublime love duo, played by Gerard Depardieu and Isabelle Huppert. He commissioned a bare, impressionistic score from Philippe Sarde, then changed his mind and kept only a timid end credits. The meeting between the two giants of French cinema did however take place, as evidenced by the first side of this beautiful lp. This album was produced from a high definition transfer of analog tapes, without compression or alteration, and respecting the dynamics of the original recordings.

Oneohtrix Point Never follows up his recent productions for ANOHNI and FKA Twigs, with possibly his most ambitious project yet, the award-winning Good Time Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Recently scooping the best soundtrack award 2017 at Cannes, it features thirteen tracks of electronic wonderment with an incredible and utterly flooring collaboration with none other than Iggy Pop.

Having continuously strived to refine his production skill and style, for us Oneohtrix Point Never truly hit a peak with his 2015 album Garden Of Delete, by crossing left of centre pop notions with a level of electronic futurism that vastly outweighed all his peers, he crafted a record that sounded fresher than anything that had come before, one that also offered up a refreshed new sound pallette. Yet for our money, on the Good Time Original Motion Picture Soundtrack OPN has truly outdone himself once again, and in doing so has created a record so stunning and visually rich that it is sure to see him taking his much deserved place within the highest ranking levels of modern soundtrack composers. By working outside the parameters of the mainstream, OPN's Good Time Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is a world-renowned classic in the making and one that is sure to take pride of place alongside Mica Levi's Under The Skin, Vangelis' Blade Runner, Angelo Badalamenti's Twin Peaks and everything Ennio Morricone has ever done as an all-time classic, and one of the very best moments in the history of cinema soundtracking.

We won't give the game away just yet, but trust us when we say this is one of the year's most special records.

A high-speed car chase between a Dodge Charger and a Ford Mustang, with super-cop Bullitt at the wheel, who forces the hitman off the road and into a petrol station, which explodes and incinerates him. Prior to that, harsh clashes of metal, hubcaps flying all over the place, and the chief character Steve McQueen, who grimly changes gears and hurtles through the streets of San Francisco, wheels screaming and rubber burning. That was how Hollywood staged one of the longest and most dramatic car chases, long before the days of the Anti-Blocking-System and Anti-Slide-Control.
Very up-to-date and just as exciting as the screenplay is the music Lalo Schifrin wrote for the film, which embeds the characters, places and events in a musical context. For example, "Bullitt": the metrically angular main theme portrays a mysterious, cool character who sums up a situation with keen alertness and then makes his attack with the speed of lightning.
Initially the music travels through easy-going Latin terrain. But gradually the rhythmic texture changes and takes a rougher path, with clicks, knocks and hammering. Legendary flute lines create a compensatory placidness with airy clouds floating above the sharp mix. A really special track is "Shifting Gears": here you can listen to Schifrin tuning the car, how he manipulates a jammed springy bossa to take on the sound of clean, smooth-running rock.

This Speakers Corner LP was remastered using pure analogue components only, from the master tapes through to the cutting head. All royalties and mechanical rights have been paid.
