Dying Victims Productions is proud to reissue NOCTURNAL's legendary debut album, "Arrival of the Carnivore". Originally released in 2005, the album cemented the band’s position as one of the leading black thrash acts of the post-2000 thrash scene and have ever since been reissued several times in various formats. However, records like these should be kept in print permanently and made available to new generations of underground maniacs. Nocturnal’s thrash metal is inspired by the Teutonic legends of old as well as the early days of black metal. Fittingly, Arrival of the Carnivore contains not only the original Violent Force cover of “Sign of Evil”, but also Bathory’s “Enter the Eternal Fire” which was recorded in the same session.

Entombed was inducted into the Swedish Music Hall of Fame in 2014 with the following motivation: "Hard Rock is just as typical of growing up in medium-sized Swedish towns as football and mopeds. Hard Rock is Swedish folk music with studded wrist bands instead of tasseled garters. After two decades of Anglo-Saxon hard rock a Swedish band, Entombed, became one of the world leaders in death metal. A subculture that has spread throughout the world, mutated in various forms, and after 20 years continues to be just as vital. Entombed is part of the heavier internationalization of Swedish popular music - all categories." The band was founded in 1987 under the name of Nihilist. With its catchy, versatile but still rock-hard music Entombed pioneered Scandinavian death metal, which was different from its American counterpart mainly by the characteristic, chainsaw-like guitar sound. The special sound they got by tuning down their guitars three full steps (to C or less), by using a maxed-out Boss Hm-2 Heavy Metal pedal, in combination with a guitar running through a Boss Ds-1 Distortion Pedal. The debut album "Left Hand Path" was released in 1990 and followed up the following year with "Clandestine" and “Wolverine Blues” in 1993. For the 25th anniversary of Dclxvi To Ride Shoot Straight And Speak The Truth is finally reissued and packaged as the band originally intended it.

In this sixth incarnation of the band, Doom lord Bobby Liebling had reunited with drummer Joe Hasselvander, who had already been a member of PENTAGRAM twice before. Hasselvander played all the instruments, while Liebling added his matchless vocals. "Sub-Basement" was the second output of this line-up and is regarded as the most Rock N' Roll effort of the doomsters ever. On top of PENTAGRAM's perfect Doom sound an irresistible groove and capturing catchiness was added, which made the album an all time favourite for many fans. Being influenced by power metal bands (Metallica, Jag Panzer, Metal Church, Fates Warning), as well as the early crop of doom metal bands (Candlemass, St. Vitus, Trouble, Pentagram), Solitude Aeturnus allowed further inspirations from genres such as psychedelic and 70’s hard rock. All this melted into a style that would soon make the band a metal phenomenon.Their history has been pretty much infallible, and 'Downfall' is no exception, consisting of a wide range of some of their fastest material, and some of their most emotional. 'Downfall' is one of the bands most riff centric albums. With the approach focussing on their more melodic, catchy side 'Downfall' is still a Solitude Aeturnus album, and everything that makes this band is still here in droves, just presented slightly differently. When 'One-Armed Bandit' was released back in 2004, the album propelled Zornik to the top ranks of De Ultratop and De Afrekening (StuBru). The Limburg-based group had already staked their claim in the Belgian rock scene with their debut album 'The Place Where You Can Find Us' and a finalist position in Humo's Rock Rally. However, with the release of the album 'One-Armed Bandit' in 2004, the cult status of the Limburg band led by frontman Koen Buyse became an even greater success story. The album, featuring singles like 'Scared Of Yourself', 'Goodbye', and 'Believe In Me' sold over 100,000 copies... on CD. Khanate's self titled debut (2001) has all the pleasant ambiance of a plane crash site, a bleak urban waste of mangled and torn metal beams and hissed alarms. When Khanate first issued instructions to the void in 2001, the band was embraced as the next iteration of guitarist Stephen O'Malley's tube-cracking forays into amplifier variance; a fascinating further step of vocalist Alan Dubin and low-frequency shifter James Plotkin's space charts; and a warning for the crawling-pace hammers of Tim Wyskida's drums. But Khanate was not preaching of coming doom or offering emotional catharsis. The band was totally post-dread. The worst had already happened, and would continue to happen, over and over. The 5 songs on Khanate sound like an "orchestrated root canal" (Julian Cope).
