The sampler includes an original track, a newly rerecorded version of the 2006 demo “Blacken the Sky,” and two epic cover songs that showcase the band’s musical versatility and limitless talent.

Grammy Award-winning band Ghost have announced the Popestar U.S. headlining tour - a 34 city run that will include two rituals at The Wiltern in Los Angeles this October. To support this, the band will be releasing a brand new EP by the same name, Popestar. Set to be released on Fri, Sept 16, 2016, this new EP features one new original song and five newly recorded cover songs.

Vanguard is a metallic hardcore band based out of Houston, TX; formed during the Covid-19 quarantine of 2020. Vanguard is unapologetically a vegan-leftist band, and actively supports and promotes a host of critical social and political causes, both lyrically and through the direct action and activism of its members. The band is ideologically tied to the animal liberation movement, endorses socialistpolitical theory, is vehemently anti-fascist, and believes and fights for the political, legal, educational, and economic equality of all people, regardless of race, gender, orientation, or class. Their message and sound come exploding out of the gates with a style that nods to the storied militance and aggression of metallic hardcore from decades past, while injecting the sound with their own unique modern ferocity and urgency.

Became cult with their second and third demos («The Lurker at the Threshold» & «In the Maze of Kadath») made of obscure keyboards-drove, Death Metal with in-human vocals and dark melodies by incredible guitarist Anthony Derycke and the release of the later one by legendary label Drowned Productions as their debut 7", the band toured Europe with Mercyless back in 1993 and slowly started to fade back in the shadow where gloomy beasts belong. An attempt of a comeback in 2001 with the «We Shall Inherit» EP and that was nearly it as the Great Old One got back to its under-seas city for aeons of dreamless sleep. But the cult outlived the monster and, besides an official compilation, countless bootleg and partly official releases saw the light of the day until it woke up from its slumber late 2019 and signed to Xe-nokorp for the re-recording of «In the Maze of Kadath» and more to come. After two decasdes of si-lence, Catacomb are now back… to unknown Kadath, celebrating 30 years of Lovecraftian Death Metal with a brand new recording at long last!

Equal parts Neurosis, Godspeed YOU! Black Emperor, with a dash of Converge and Morbid Angel, Ether Coven re-imagines the term “heavy.” Weighing in at just under 26 minutes, Language... is emotionally taxing in every direction, from huge waves of atmospheric wash to soul-trembling riffs that you can literally feel deep in your bones in a live setting, and lyrics that viciously attack all things deemed normal as part of our culture; the conditioning of a society, the blind eye turned to slaughterhouses, and the lack of accountability of public services. Ether Coven is not an easy listen due to their sonically melancholic nature which has become synonymous with their name. Church of Inverted Hope forever.

One of the earliest black metal bands on American soil, DEMONCY have gone through myriad lineups over the past 30-plus years, but they've always been guided by the vision of vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Ixithra. In their wake, they've left landmark recordings like Within the Sylvan Realms of Frost and Joined in Darkness, which were both originally recorded in the mid '90s despite their eventual release year of 1999.
