Maharishi Accessories

ma·ha·ri·shi (mäha-rē′shē, mə-här-shē) – literal Sanskrit translation: great seer. Or guru aka great vision in clothing. Established in 1994 by Hardy Blechman, Maharishi is an urban streetwear brand that’s famous for designing unique, military-inspired street fashion apparel finished with custom camouflage patterns and elaborate detailing. Maharishi explores the dualistic nature of the universe – expressed through blending Eastern and Western silhouettes and graphic influences, taking a pacifist approach to military-grade utilitarian design, representing camouflage as a symbol of nature and art, and respecting nature whilst utilizing technology. From recycled military outer garments and printed sweaters plus hoodies to reworked gear and stenciled embroidery, a Maharishi collection covers lots of stylistic devices.
