DJ Sarin is a new name for most, but it is a new project from an artist that has been with Kniteforce & Knitebreed for some time now. Otherwise known as TNO Project, Sarin has made a great name for himself in the breakbeat hardcore scene and he is now moving into a more classic style of jungle. No one is surprised that he doesn’t disappoint! The amen drums are chopped within an inch of their lives and then backed up with hoovers and pads. This is the sound of many a dark jungle rave from the mid 90s brought up to date. Keep an eye for more because we see a big future for DJ Sarin.

Rounding out this first round of what we have been calling the Breemixes, we have an absolute stormer of an EP. Worldwide Epidemik is a producer of amazing early style rave so there really was only one person we could think of to remix him and that was a legend in the scene Ron Wells. Ron has been around since the start and produced & engineered under many names such as Jack Smooth and Fast Floor, whilst being one of the pioneers of the jungle techno sound. Next up we have the man behind Cantina Cuts, Dj Jedi, remixing Wislov’s Rave In The Bunker. The original is like an early 1992 track but Jedi has turned all the dials up to the max and result is a late 1992 style track! Finally, we have Sunny & Deck Hussy’s Dreamin’ the Ant To Be remix. Ant took the massively popular piano breakbeat track and slowed it down into a beautiful atmospheric slice of 93, walking the line of light and dark to perfection, something akin to his Film Noir styled EP, Cinematography from a couple of years ago.

Here we have the third instalment of the highly anticipated Knitebreed Remixes series on clear green vinyl. Following on from volumes 1 and 2, we have yet another amazing remix EP. Our headliner this time is none other than NRG, remixing an Ant To Be classic. NRG has a sound all his own and he really expresses that with this remix. Heavy chopped vocals and sharp as a knife breaks throughout, that leave you in no doubt that this is professional at the height of his powers. Meanwhile, Paul Bradley remixes Knitebreeds very own Sunny & Deck Hussy taking their piano based track and adding some filthy stabs and toughening up the breaks. On the flip side, Tenerife meets Germany when Wislov remixes TNO Project. These 2 have very different styles, but Wislov’s style really fits the manic style of TNO and this remix is wonderful. Rounding out this EP is a Hired Gun & Lowercase remix of a Wislov track, Do You Wanna Stay. The original is a very atmospheric track so when it was time to remix the only way to do it justice was to make it jungle, Hired Gun provided that perfectly whilst The Lowercase pushed him to go harder and then bring it back with a piano.

Then we have a coming together that can only be described as genius. TNO remixes Ant To Be‘s Just Anthem. TNO takes one of Ants “lightest” tracks & makes it his own with his distinct sound of darker hardcore. Each remix EP comes in a lovely colored vinyl…The Hyper-On Experience remix of TNO’s Xenotransplantation is a lesson on how to do a remix: take the best bits, amplify them, & add some secret sauce! Then we have a Kniteforce Radio favourite, Paul Bradley with his track Nobody Else remixed by KF’s very own Beeno. It is a raw, powerful & unashamedly banging version of the original. We have another headline level remix from Boykz & Chapman. They remixed Wislov’s My Mind In Your Eyes into a proper Boykz & Chapman classic, with the original proper early hardcore sound. Just another repress here, nothing to see! That is of course a joke because this EP is proper fire! For many, Funky Sensation is their favourite N-Zo & DJ Invincible track…but for the rest it is this total classic “Take Me Away”! N-Zo & DJ Invincible had a sound that was distinctly their own, being able to take big vocals and pianos mixed with very jungle inspired chopped breaks but keeping the sound firmly hardcore. Take Me Away remains pure goose bump material to this day. With such a classic on one side it’s not surprising that the other side doesn’t get the airtime it deserves. Red 5 is another amazing track that shows off the style of N-Zo & DJ Invincible perfectly but this time without the big piano and female vocal. Don’t let that fool you into thinking that this isn’t really another A side in disguise. Once again you can hear the jungle influence in it, especially with the slightly darker tone, compared to Take Me Away.

This is the highly prized first EP from Ramos, Supreme & Sunset Regime, originally released on their own label back in the mid 90’s. It is, and always will be, an absolute classic of an EP. We are proud to be able to remaster and repress this release while keeping it as close to the original look as possible. All four tracks smashed dance floors at clubs and raves back in the day. Marley’s Rush comes in with two different versions, one being slightly harder than the other and both being amazing breakbeat hardcore tracks that sum up the era perfectly. Intruder is a perfect example of the edgier side to hardcore. It's not quite jungle and definitely not happy hardcore, it is just hardcore in its rawest form. Finally, the lead track, one of the best tracks from 1994, I Got The Real Feel (‘94 Mix). An updated version of the 1992 original by Sunset Regime. They don’t come much bigger than this and that is why the whole EP is in so much demand second hand.

With such a strong first release to Prime we had to make sure that the second EP could live up to the hype, and boy did it ever, nearly selling out within the first week or sales! Dee Sub is an ex-pat that now resides in New Zealand but has been honing his craft for many years now, and what he has produced here is an excellent and authentic early rave EP. Side A is a piano led breakbeat track with big hoovers and bleeps to back up the sound, and it really makes you feel like you're listening to the music for the first time. Then side B is more Belgium techno in style, taking cues from labels such as R&S and many others. Hoover led with a kick and the bleeps plus the 303 in full effect. This EP really will take you back to when everything was new, shiny and mind-blowing!

This is the first release from our new label, Kniteforce Prime, a label that is focusing on the very early days of rave, 1990-91. With more people returning to the roots of hardcore rave music, and that sound being the inspiration since the inception of Kniteforce Records, we felt it was time to start this new label. The 1990/91 era is full of bleeps, bass, pianos and breaks, and so Kniteforce Prime is heavily influenced by the Belgium techno, Italian Piano House, and UK old school sound of that time. So when it came to an opening artist for the label there was only one person to choose, Innercore. He has been making this style, along with others, for many years, and with this huge EP he didn’t disappoint. The tracks are as varied as the sound was back in those days. Piano’s, hoovers and synths are all here across the EP, from light to dark and everything in the middle.

To complement the new album “Lethal” from original old school legend Liquid, we wanted to do a special remix EP that took two of the most amazing tracks from that LP and give them a different twist. Ray Keith’s remix of “Dread Inna Babylon” sees him going all the way back to his jungle days to produce something that is unmistakably Ray Keith. The bass is heavy and the breaks are as hard as nails, all in Ray’s classic style. This will smash dance floors and bedroom speakers for a long time to come. Then on the opposite side we have an insane remix from the old school maestro, Acen. He took the original vocal led track and completely flipped the script while losing none of the beautiful essence that the vocal brings. If anything, his remix highlights it with some amazing pianos, hoovers and the signature Acen breaks that have been slaying raves for 30 plus years.
