The diversity of the music is perhaps best expressed in how easily the glitchy ambient works “Dough” and “Max” go together with the resonating techno track “La Vaca Vega” and the uplifting title track “Twee". “Extebarri” (where a hard snare is the basis of a driving melody) and the downtempo “Tribeca” round off the release effortlessly. Tsepo knows what he’s doing and his years of experience in the DJ booth echo on this wonderful, well-crafted debut.

We are always looking for personal and genuine works, and our sixth release was not going to be less. We are very happy to present "Entropy Ep", a three incredible original cuts by producer Yotam Aflalo and a remix of one of the finest of Liverpool, Reedale Rise. Yotam invites us to a trip through breaks and electro, where his taste for rhythm stands out. Subtle acid lines mixed with mysterious pads, along with masterfully programmed percussions are the signature of the EP. In B2 we find our first remix on the label, and certainly no one better than the wizard Reedale Rise. RR redesigns "Four", building on some original elements, and turning the cut into a delightful dream lucid through the classic 808 sound, bouncing bass and crystal clear keys. A solid Ep that fits in any bag of a good musiclover, for club use or home mental-pleasure. We are also excited to announce a collaboration with talented photographer Dan Cohen. For their second 12", we find ourselves immersed in a solo production from Igaxx As with his contributions to the first release, we're enveloped in perfectly crafted, richly textured afrocentric deepness. With Detroit signatures, and a roots House spirit throughout, these tracks really sound timeless. Hugo Capablanca (boss man @ Discos Capablanca), met Igaxx on a recent tour of Japan as DJ unit C.P.I. After hearing the tracks, he was happy to work on this spectacular remix of 'Ugachi' clocking in at over 10 minutes and featuring poetry by Narumi HÃ©rrison (Japanese artist living in France) plus field recordings captured in Kyoto by Hugo himself. Delivering a dark and psychedelic minimal workout, which perfectly compliments the originals.

Brigitte Barbu’s Muzak pour ascenseurs en panne (Muzak for broken lifts) marked a bold new addition to the Circus Company repertoire. In a gilded haze of resonant tones conjured by traditional and non-traditional methods, Brigitte Barbu created an inviting sound world brimming with life and doffing its cap to 1970s signal processing. Out of such sonic research and development comes a wealth of material for other artists to sink their teeth into, and so we proudly present an accompanying remix EP that takes Brigitte Barbu’s distinctive stamp into new territory. Roman Flügel makes a first appearance Circus Company with two versions of “Dae-Boj DeMoya” that showcase this constantly versatile lynchpin of European techno. First up is his “kraut remix", which unsurprisingly channels the grainy beauty of Neu! and early Kraftwerk, before his “synth remix” dials back the drums and diverts our attention towards an expansive arrangement of melodious flourishes from classic synthesisers. John Tejada and Reggie Watts reunite as Wajatta following their triumphant LP Don’t Let Get You Down on Brainfeeder to deliver a particularly inventive, soul-stirring vocal techno version of “Couvre chef en peau de taupe". Watts soars over the signature warmth of Tejada’s production, while Brigitte Barbu’s mysterious tones linger in every fold of the mix. Matthew Herbert offers up a “Butter Dub” version of the album interlude serie “Trou Vert” that pits his signature stark sampling methods against Brigitte Barbu’s material and creates a fruitful dialogue of crooked 4/4 mechanics with all the playful curiosity of the original and a strong dose of Herbert’s inimitable musical personality.

Having worked with labels such as Lost Diaries and Motek and seeing numerous releases appear in the Beatport charts, American artist Beartrax is a man in form right now. For this sixth release we prepared something special and very close to our hearts. While digging deep into the obscurities of French House music a few years ago, a friend pointed us to a label, Labo Music which had just a few releases in its catalogue and was run by an artist called “Bo’”. Through a series of synchronistic events, we managed to get a hold of the very first 2 releases produced by Bo’ himself, and since that moment we got lovestruck with the music contained in those records. It was later Bo’ himself to tell us that the music in LABO001 and LABO002 was capturing a very special and delicate moment of his life, while he was going through personal challenges and changes, that took him into musical directions that he was not used to pursue.
We don’t know what force he channelled with those sessions, but the music resonates so much with us, that we felt it should not be heard just by a few lucky ones and thus decided to pick our favourite tracks and reissue them on OCD.

Alicia Keys’ original is a much loved beauty, and this remix by Jan Kincl, a Zagreb-based producer known for his jazz-informed house project with Regis Kattie, was made just hours before a Berlin DJ gig. Two months later, Jan and Delfonic, a Berlin staple coming from a more organic and soulful side of the city, were in Montenegro on a shuttle from the airport to Southern Soul festival. Eddy Ramich, mutual friend who’s been playing Jan’s demo was on the same bus and played it to Delfonic. Before making it through one full listen, Delfonic said this should be released and suggested to make his own remix. What they ended up with is a 12″ with three versions, three attempts to flip the original’s beatless soul and bend it into shapes of deep house and Miami bass.
