Metropolitan Indian & RVNG Intl. present the historics Infinidelity 12" series. Inspired by a short story of the same name by author Chris Leo, Infinidelity offers ten songs from historics late 2009 album debut, Strategies For Apprehension, transformed by an assembly of artists from the outer ether of the electronic music world. Infinidelity Pt. 3 closes out the 12" series with two monstrous remixes. UK remix maven and recent Strut Records mix maker Leo Zero turns "Skin Orders" into a sprawling, eight minute mix of rapid fire drum patterns akin to "Bombs Over Baghdad" and odyssey-like, Garcia inspired guitar work by Crow of Mountain of One. Canadian producer Andrew Allsgood's take on "Two Tons" stomps away with a heavy kick, conga-laden percussion, and fuzzed out bass line, eventually oscillating into a cosmic cataclysm and refrain. This remix fits in nicely with Allsgood's classic 12" for History Clock and features additional production by Worst Friends. Complete the Infinidelity series with this final chapter. Infinidelity was mastered by Graeme Durham at The Exchange. Each 12" comes in an extremely limited edition of 300 copies, absolutely stunning artwork by Mark McCoy.

Freerange Sounds - which shouldn't be confused with Jimpster's deep house label Freerange - is reissuing its first release from back in May 2022 here. It's a dark garage outing from 9trane that kicks off with 'Keep It Moving' (feat Riko Dan) with edgy vocals, late-night urban menace and some crisp drum patterns. The fantastic Bakey dub mix brings more pruning basslines and withering pads while the instrumental is stripped back and more haunting. Last of all is 'Hear This' which leans on the Burial style of ghostly production but with a more fulsome low-end and prickly percussive brew riding the beats. Serious tackle for sure.

Inspired by a short story of the same name by author Chris Leo (Feathers Like Leather, 57 Octaves Below..., White Pigeons), Infinidelity offers ten songs from historics late 2009 album debut, Strategies For Apprehension, transformed by an assembly of artists from the outer ether of the electronic music world. The Infinidelity story is one of meditation within / without a relationship, wrapped in a transient prose that skirts comedic and tragic traditions. Strategies For Apprehension deals in related subjects, those of bonds forged and broken, of ever-shifting alliances. In keeping with those themes, the conception and recording of the record were devoutly unfaithful to any rote route of standard-fare album construction. From those sessions were born enough boundless ideas to place in the hands of others, who in turn have created their own commentaries on and reinterpretations of the music. The Infinidelity Pt. 1 12" flickers to life with a re-work of "Fan Fare" by Tom Croose, a track that swells with a massive drum loop, buzzy bass blasts, and an ominous synth line only to break itself down and accentuate a stark female vocal sample. The glimmering sensibility of Croose's track patters over into the buildup of Sir Billy and Creso's Saturday Crimson Mix of "Kinda Personal", another warm track with its roots grown thick in a heavy kick, and its wings beating to the crisp high hat on the up beat. Low Motion Disco's take on "Languages", a meditative number, recalls the even unfolding of an early morning, the calm of the evening, and the moment before you head into the night for the acid thump of Pink Stallone's remix of "City to City" and repeat the shimmering cycle. The artwork, also informed by Leo's story, was created by artist Mark McCoy. The intricate collages convey sanctity within immolation, sacrifice to nature's thorny embrace. Kevin O'Neill at Will Work For Good commanded the build & design of the packaging...

A masterpiece in itself. on A2, we can hear this mixture again the perfect fusion between the golden-age house aesthetics and the cultural sounds of South America all complemented by a superb vocal during the break "our names are nick names wich won't reflect where we came from" a statement in itself ! The b-side from the outset gives us perhaps one of the best songs of the ep, the brilliant dakar, a subtle mix of rhodes, swaying bass and African children's chants. Arguably one of the most memorable house music moments, born out of the black Lgbt scene in Chicago at the legendary Warehouse and known as one of Frankie Knuckles earliest productions; ‘Your Love’ is a stone cold classic. A record that is up there with the greats, instantly recognisable and a song that only get better with time. Written by Jamie Principle and originally released in 1986, ‘Your Love’ has become a seminal recording over the past 34 years. Originally an underground club anthem, famously borrowed on the crossover hit ‘You’ve Got The Love’ (The Source feat. Candi Staton), and most recently re-produced by as part of the Director’s Cut project which aimed to update a number of classic cuts for the modern dancefloor, this is a record that endures the test of time. Working alongside The Frankie Knuckles Foundation and Eric Kupper, SoSure Music now releases two new remixes for 2020 from Darrius Syrossian and Alan Dixon. First up, House music aficionado and legendary Sankey’s resident Darius Syrossian offers his unique blend of beats to the remix package. With releases on the likes of Get Physical, Viva Music and Hot Creations, Darius’ production is heavily influenced by some of the greats – think of the finest spinners from Detroit, New York and Chicago – and is well placed to approach this huge task. Isor29 with a six track mini-album titled ‘Moon Phase Gardening’. Isor29 is a new project from Columbian musician Tomas Garcia Station and follows on from his highly regarded 2020 debut release under the ‘Irie Nation’ moniker.

The title ‘Moon Phase Gardening’ (also referred to as Gardening by the Moon or Planting by the Moon) draws upon the idea that the lunar cycle affects plant growth. Just as the Moon’s gravitational pull creates the tides of the oceans, it also creates more moisture in the soil, which encourages growth.

Evolving out of forced time off, individual confrontation and the love for someone close, ‘Moon Phase Gardening’ was recorded in the living room of an old flat in Lisbon during the first lockdown. Using only a microphone, computer, Korg Ms20, hang drum and a field recorder, Isor29 channels Tomas’ musical vocabulary via electronics to reflect an immersive and self-reflective story bound to a uniquely powerful time and space.

The made in Perugia prodigy delivers us once again 3 titles paying homage to the sound of chicago, the fabulous triplet lost tape 1, 2 & 3. On A1, the aptly named Lost tape 1 us leads into the meanders of the jungle house in direct tribute to the great marshall Jefferson all sprinkled with some "detroit" sauce, this peaktime track will delight the most humid and demanding dancefloors. Lost tape 2 is more airy with these sparkling bells and its bass that lifts your guts, mental we tell you ! A bit as if paris gray was remixed in a hovering dub version. On lost tape 3, it is clearly the quintessence of the spirit of simoncino, his genius. This way of creating a universe that is both a tribute to the original chicago house and the italian dream house straight from the 90s. Completely trippy. Z Lovecraft AKA Rhythm Section International's Mali Baden-Powell, offers up four originals on the Utopia Club Tracks label that showcase the disco/house end of his varied output. 'Exotic Passage' coasts along serenely with gently slapped bongos and warm electric piano, definitely a weapon to have in one's warm up arsenal. 'Release (The Tension)' ups the heat a little with a busier bassline, filters and disco licks, before B-side opener 'Lust In Denial' comes with more jazz-slanted piano riffs and 'People Get Too Deep' closes proceedings with the most spacious and dubby arrangement of the quartet.
