Swoose makes his return to Shall Not Fade, joining the new Classic Cuts series, a year after his extremely popular Introspective EP. The Irish producer is known for his explosive nineties influenced style of house; think blissed out vocals over a headsy nightclub ready beat.

Bloom EP starts off with a bang, the title track a percussive trance of arpeggiating synths and a touch of nineties nostalgia with a classic sample. "Algo" is equally hypnotic; floaty melodies that glide across the deep bass edge of this sundowner party track. "Polypore" hits hard with a purposeful kick drum, driving home the sidewinding acid inflections and making for a glitchy tool for dark club nights. The closing track changes things up; "Allure" takes natural piano loops and organic breaks to create a haunting piece of music which is a peaceful end to the EP, demonstrating Swoose's range and ability to move away from his comfort zone in production.

On behalf of re:discovery records, it is with great excitement that we announce the joint compilation from Facil and Prototype 909 called 'Excerpts from 1993-1995.

As most know, Prototype 909 was a legendary acid techno act from New York that toured the circuit as one of the premier rave acts from America during the 1990s.

Facil was a side small duo project that only made one album and a few appearances on a handful of compilations. The A-side features two Facil tracks. 'Tree Frog' has an amazingly robotic ambient dub electro sound. A killer track that will have dancefloor patrons staring at each other with blank wtf faces. '700x7' completes the A-side with ambient dub gem. Floaty and airy melodics balance out a devastating 808 drum beat.

This is ambient dub in the truest example. The b-side then offers two spacey trance beauties with 'Transit' & 'Planet S' from Prototype 909. The EP finishes with more space junk ambient dub with 'Same Place' by Facil.

Overall, a great look into the window of early to mid-1990s New York ambient dub.

UK artist Jayson Wynters debuts on Pulp with four tracks of atmospheric house and funk that come complete with remixes by Jarren and Mogwaa.

Kung fu master Wynters hails from Birmingham and has been a key player on his local scene for years. More recently he has broken out with impressive EPs on mighty Dutch label Delsin and Adam Shelton's EON. He has a real love of hazy house and always brings his own unique take on that to his timeless analogue grooves. This latest EP was written during lockdown, which provided Jayson a chance to explore different sounds and delve into different styles.

Opener 'Solitude' proves that with its misty-eyed melodies and dreamy pads. The drums tumble loosely, the percussion has a frayed edge and the whole thing is coated in warmth and soul. Half Moon's Jarren is based in LA and brings plenty of that city's musical charm to his remix. It has far-sighted chords, soft-focus harmonics and well swung claps and drums that are simply irresistible.

Wynters then offers 'Corns Funk,' which pairs another dusty drum line with pinging kicks and woodpecker-like percussive hits. A superb twanging bass riff brings some real funk and retro-future feels as the groove builds and bright synths shine through the haze to enrich your soul.

'Night Drive' is a lush downbeat tune for sunset cruises. It has heart-melting chords that prompt deep inward reflection and features an aching guitar riff full of melancholy. The remixer for the one is Seoul musician and master beatmaker Mogwaa who layers in squelchy synth bass and dreamy, loved-up pads. Last of all, 'Uncle's Jam' is Dam Funk-style electro bliss doused in lo-fi chords and languid late-night funk and packed with romance.

The trio, made up of Nicola on bass, Simone on drums and samplers, and Filippo on keys, is bringing some real, raw, authentic sounds to the table. Their first LP, "Vibin' Places" dropped in 2020 and it's a versatile homemade electronic album that hits different, whether you're a listener, DJ, or clubber. This new EP is fire too. A1 track "Basso e Batteria" with Sara Loreni on lyrics and vocals, has clear echoes of a '00s vocal-house joints, but sounds like it was recorded in a Chicago basement. The dirty grooves, thumping bass, and enveloping pads create a free-form vibe that's perfect for you summer madness. But then they go and take it to the next level with the remixes on B side. Cristalli Liquidi's remix is on some current dance floor-ish, with bouncing rhythms, a wild bassline, and a catchy vocal cut. And Hill's dub mix is straight up trippy - like you're lost in a warehouse at 6am, with dreamy pads, a solid bassline, and rhythms that are distant but still pull you in. And let's not forget "Gin Tonic" (a2) - it's a dope sunset jam session that's pure “Club Soda style”, with congas, DX7 keys, funky bass, and an MPC chop. It’s common knowledge that KOMPAKT’s Total series serves as our yearbook, a musical wrap up of the past 12 months. Therefore it doesn’t come as a surprise that this year’s edition is informed by another pandemic year, where dancefloors were still mostly deserted and the devastating developments in Eastern Europe. Kompakt’s A&R team still kept on foot on the imaginary dancefloor, while scouting different realms apart from the big room euphoria. Anyway, brain dance has always been a key ingredient to our catalogue.

The Voigt brothers are opening this year´s vinyl edition in an unusually romantic fashion. ‘Why’ combines a bubbly FM bassline with lush washes of looped guitars. High off the (presumably high) heels of her recent album ‘Jesus Was An Alien’ she delivers a spanking new excursion into her sonic world, ‘The Hill’. Our Mexican friend Rebolledo makes his first ever solo appearance on Total with his trademark hypnotic desert sound. Jürgen Paape is calling a spade a spade with ‘Le Monde À Changé’ – The world has changed indeed. Our prodigal son, Matias Aguayo, returns to the mothership with ‘Cinco Y Rojo’. An exercise in Chicago-esque groove theory paired with a cheeky visitor from Denmark. Spot the reference and win a pair of hooves. It’s hard to find a quality party around Cologne without Jonathan Kaspar on its bill. Rightly so, as he continues to hone his craft as an impeccable DJ and producer. Michael gives the tremendously talented Danish singer songwriter eee gee a proper Mayer treatment and Kompakt founding member Jörg Burger closes off the festivities with a groovy midtempo chugger that reminisces ‘Blue Lines’ era Massive Attack as much as the late Andy Weatheralls low slung psychedelia.

Albeit being no stranger himself to musical influences from the outside, the producer from Frankfurt managed to carve out a sound that is very much his own. Lauer’s latest achievement for Running Back and welcome return is a mini-LP called Cyclone Days. Aptly titled and ably executed, it’s everything you would expect or want from him. A world of merry music, where melody is king.

On top of that , you get value for your money: Vocal blockbusters like the upbeat Somebody (instrumental included) and the more restrained Friends (both with frequent collaborator Dena), sit comfortably between instrumental hits. Resonator and Neway take the role of the proverbial keys to happiness, while the title track or Exterminate balance it out with joyful melancholy. Just imagine Righeira signing to Factory Records or Durutti Column on holidays in Rimini and you are halfway there. The days might be like a cyclone, but as long as there are records like this, the shelter isn’t blown.

We've long been admirers of Kornél Kovács and the Studio Barnhus label he co-runs, so it was only a matter of time before we poached him for a 12". Like some of us at Numbers he was an early starter, playing in clubs since the age of 14, promoting his own parties and hosting a radio show - the influential ‘P3 Dans Show' on Swedish national radio. He's got a unique approach to house and techno which packs in bags of personality along with the odd curveball, but he always remains firmly focused on making people dance.

Dancing is exactly what you'll do to Radio Koko, that dream radio station where music never sleeps and the hits keep coming. Pantalon, the brexit baiting sequel to Sabrina's ‘Boys, Boys, Boys' is on constant rotation and according to those in the know, is destined to top the charts in at least four European nation states despite an EU wide ban on it's accompanying video.

The many highlights of Radio Koko's night time programming includes the summertime jack of Lighthouse which can be adapted to suit both nightclub and bbq situations. Open Space is an exciting new label run by DJ Ray & Goiz. It’s inaugural release sees Goiz taking steps in a fresh direction with a 4 track EP made up mostly of slower tempos, intricate percussive patterns, and an underwater acid feel that’s reminiscent of Plastikman and early Move D.
The A1 cut, ‘That’s Green’ starts with a hot marimba line that is sure to grip your attention from the jump. The track bounces along at 109 bpm and opens up with warm ambience, trippy electric guitar samples, and a chunky electro-acid bassline that is guaranteed to make clubs bump and heads nod.
On the A2 is ‘Mid Pack’ a 100 bpm tribal aquatic trip for the dedicated downtempo deejay. This triplet-heavy rhythm track comes at you with a flurry of percussion, perfectly timed bleep melodies, and a squelchy acid bassline with an early Move D B-Side vibe.
Heading over to the flipside, the B1 track, ‘Zero Cap’ is likely to be a dancefloor favorite. This elastic-sticky-slapper almost demands a physical response with it’s sharp snare hits, driving bassline, and chopped quasi-vocal snips; all leading to a satisfying pay-off in the form of warm pads and floating marimba notes.
Finally, on the B2 we see the closing and fastest track, ‘Woods’ — An optimistic digi dream house bumper inspired by the sounds of CiM and Susumu Yokota. The track starts with a wide, hopeful ambient pad and microscopic drum sounds, quickly swelling into a racy but soothing 8 minute brain massage.

Having firmly re-established his underground roots, through a series of killer EPs on his newly birthed imprint, 49North - the Spooky and Animated legend now turns his attention to solo album number 1 - his first ever, as Duncan Forbes. Laying its first foundations some 5 years ago now - ‘Return Of The Strobelight Kid’ has been stealthily taking shape and developing organically ever since. And as a result, the 8 tracks which now make up the final running order, feel very much a direct reflection of all that was experienced during that time; as someone who - whilst having well and truly bought the t-shirt several times over by now - nevertheless finds themselves back on the starting grid, having to do it all over again from scratch. But embarking on new adventures from way back on square one - is something Duncan’s no stranger to; and on this album, he invites us to join him on this journey of his, and experience all the ups, downs, twists and turns that come with such intrepid territory. However, for the first port of call, Duncan somewhat eases us in - re-uniting us with a true stand out moment from his post-lockdown 7-strong EP series. This time round, however - ‘Bluer Than Blue’ takes a more gossamer, blissed-out form; swapping the staunch 4/4 for a sprightlier garage-flavoured approach in its (Slight Return). Next up, and cut from the same rhythmic cloth is ‘Hold That Thought’; its adrenalized 2-step rhythm and murky, murmuring pads making for a sunk-low, shadow-lined heater - positively slathered in thick and beckoning atmosphere. Then, with its bounding, locomotive drum track and elastic, sky-reaching synths - ‘Rise Above (Bassbin)’ takes us to brighter, more versicolour climbs; that is before we go stratospheric, for the Jungle-licked, ghostly roller - ‘Quantum Particles Floating In Space’ (Redux). ‘Floating’ keeps the unearthly fires burning - but when it comes to stoking - instead opts for a more direct, trippier and psyche-tinged approach. The propulsive, locked groove theme continues with ‘Another World’, but this time, all the space above and around it - feels an altogether darker, eerier and far gnarlier proposition. The wide-eyed majesty of ‘Serendipity’ then takes us down the penultimate stretch - rifling through a star-studded sky of its own making, in all its acid-licked, trance-kissed - breaky Techno glory; leaving Duncan’s most personal creation to date - ‘The Future Of Love’ - to close proceedings on this maiden, solo outing - by stripping things right back and reminding us just how powerful and affecting Electronic music can still be, when presented in its purest, most elemental form.

"July 2021 saw DJ Sodeyama deliver his ‘1977’ album under the The People In Fog guise. Its a project which sees the Japanese Techno artist lean towards raw house and experimental sounds in contrast to the more techno-oriented material released under his own name. The album received critical acclaim from many leading publications and here Sound Of Vast offer up a remix package of some key cuts from the project. Chicago House legend Rahaan steps up first to remix ‘Mr. Dub’, delivering a typically disco-infused twist on the original via a wandering bass groove, resonant chimes, cowbell hooks and hypnotic synth melodies while the original’s vocal chant loops throughout the groove. Japan’s Satoshi Tomiie is up next to aptly remix ‘Less Is More’, taking a cue from the title the Tokyo-born producer and DJ delivers a reduced take on things, laying focus on spiraling dub echoes, stripped-back organic drums and subtle sub bass pulsations.

Opening the flip-side is ene Records boss and ESP Institute artist Chida who flips the switch on ‘Come To Me feat. Monkey Timers’, delivering seven-minutes of modulating arpeggio bass, saturated drums, acid bleeps and mind- altering synth textures. Tokyo Community Radio founder and a leading figure of the young generation with diversity Licaxxx then rounds out the release with her take on ‘Down The Drain feat. If anyone deserves to have the name Don, it’s Don Carlos. Responsible for one of the most influential and genre-defining deep house tracks of all time the Italian legend more than lives up to his name being a true master of his craft. In 1991 his debut release Alone was presented to the world via Calypso Records and quickly gained classic status, blissing out dancefloors worldwide with it’s euphoric piano stabs, sun-drenched strings and laidback groove. Establishing the blueprint for what would become known as ‘Italian dream-house’ Don Carlos would follow up a year later with another masterpiece in the form of a mini LP entitled Mediterraneo which took influence from the Chicago master Larry Heard but added a European ‘Balearic’ perspective which would pave the way for a wave of warm, emotive late night house tracks emanating from Bel Paese.

Don Carlos releases have been fairly sporadic since his seminal early 90’s output so Freerange is very happy to bring you brand new material in the form of the I’m Steel Here EP. Across the three original tracks we get to hear him revisit the vibe from those early years whilst bringing things bang up to date for todays DJ’s and dance floors. The title track marries a driving Italo synth bassline with trademark Carlos strings and piano to form an uplifting club track which will lift the spirits of all who hear it. Azimuth comes next cutting up and filtering a piano hook calling the mighty Trackheadz to mind, a gated vocal sample adding a distinctly 90’s hook for a nostalgic slice of regal house. Closing out this gem of an EP we have In The Sky which loops up a classic feel good disco riff for a mid tempo house jam which bumps along nicely and will create the perfect mood in any warm up set worth its salt.

An artist with a rich history within modern house music and longstanding ties to Hot Creations, Ali Love makes his solo debut on the label with collaborator and Brazilian rapper Prince Andre. Ali takes on production duties here, and the result is a pretty unique slice of Brazilian hip house. ‘Da Da On’ brings a driving bassline, samba inspired percussion, whistles, and Prince Andre’s effervescent rhymes. One of the premier songwriters of contemporary UK dance music, Ali Love has released material via Crosstown Rebels, Keinemusik, and Defected in recent times, and collaborated with The Chemical Brothers, Justice, Camelphat and Róisín Murphy, amongst many others. It was, of course, on Hot Creations, where Ali collaborated with Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and Luca C as Hot Natured, and whose ‘Benediction’ has now become a contemporary dance music classic. For the fourth release on DJ Koze and Marcus Fink's Pampa imprint, hyperactive hotshot house hunk Axel Boman steps up and delivers a stunning debut EP for the label. Since many years an important force on the small but friendly Swedish club scene, and one third of the Studio Barnhus crew together with Kornél Kovács and Petter, Axel is as experienced a producer as his ideas are fresh. This tattooed Swede often talks about creating "worlds" rather than "tracks", and on his "Holy Love" EP we are transported to three very different places indeed. The title track, a collaboration with vocalist J Jonason, invites you to take part in a lazy afternoon cocktail party onboard an old sailing boat in Gothenburg's archipelago. Ten City are mixing up the White Russians and Giorgio Moroder's estranged Swedish grandson is peeling the shrimp. You fall asleep on the patio and wake up in a sweaty basement later that night. Through the shabby speakers of one of those small but friendly Stockholm night clubs, you hear "Purple Drank", a sleazy, sexy number that draws influences from Houston style screw music, classic deep house and hypnotic techno. The irresistible vocal hook - "I woke up with your name on my lips" has already echoed across dance floors from Tokyo to Amsterdam. Bouncy yet unsettling, this track is probably the most obvious DJ's favorite on the EP. Morning comes yet again, and for the after party we head to Axel's private rooftop terrace in sunny Gröndal. The laptop speakers are banging out the most loved up piano loop you ever heard. "Not So Much" is as simple and naïve as Axel Boman's haircut, a perfect ending to a perfect night and a perfect little record from this imperfect genius of a dance music producer.

Saisei founder Junki Inoue continues his vital archival work uncovering the riches of Japan’s distinctive electronic music scene and bringing them to new audiences around the world. The Sounds Of Transonic compiles six tracks recorded in Tokyo between 1991 and 1995 and released by the pioneering Transonic label, founded in 1994 by Kazunao Nagata and active until 2004. Transonic’s catalogue is a glittering roll call of the scene’s major players, whose inventive and genre-blending work established forward-thinking house and techno in Japan in a way that would shape the country’s electronic sound for years to come. Transonic was instrumental in giving exposure to the work of these artists with its emblematic series of CD compilations, released over a short couple of years in the mid 90s. Beginning with 970-1450km/h, Feedback and Range, the series also included The Roots Of Transonic, featuring music from parent label Trigger. Alongside these compilations came much sought-after solo albums each packaged with striking cover art that makes the discs a visual treat for collectors to this day. The Sounds Of Transonic brings together six tracks from the catalogue into one breath-taking package. The influence of hi-tech jazz and machine funk from Detroit is undeniable in ‘Dream Trance’ (Mind Design) and ‘Blasting Soul’ (Interferon), while ‘Under The Ground’ (Palomatic) and ‘Chelsea’ (Suzukiski) are permeated by the artificial intelligence and trip hop emanating from the UK at the time. The compilation is bookended by two tracks by Nagata himself (as Organization): ‘Space Ball’, a Model 500-worthy chase through the cosmos, and ‘Call’, an eerie echo of Kraftwerk’s telephone, transmitting expectantly out into the void and, finally, receiving its celestial answer. With The Sounds Of Transonic these formative pieces of music will now be available internationally and, for the first time, on vinyl. Saisei is a Japanese word which translates to ‘reproduction’ and ‘to play’ (as in playing records). Japanese culture is widely known for its traditional nature just as much as it is for being forward into the future and this label’s concept does justice to exactly that. Having started digging for records as early as 16 years old, Inoue delved into productions from 1990s Japan to uncover these native gems. Saisei’s core concept is to recapture and reintroduce unique pieces of Japanese electronic music onto vinyl, to an audience it never reached before as most of this music was only released in Japan.

Sistrum Recordings returns with a new addition to the family, producer Riccardo Masi better known to dancefloors as Reekee. This alliance came together quite naturally, following up on a remix that label head Patrice Scott did for Reekee’s Wrong Notes label. The sophisticated vibe of his productions is very much at home on Sistrum.

Leading off is “Sunshine”, and its deep house rhythms and sultry moods set the tone for the EP. Building up patiently from lush strings and bleeps into a full on electronic sax and piano led bomb, Reekee’s arrangement skills are on full display here.

“Livin’” is next with its funky synth bass and broken beat groove. The energy really start to pick up once the Rhodes chords and Moog solo kick in, contrasting different timings against one another to craft a sweet syncopation that will force dancers to move their hips from side to side.

Moving on to the B side, “Never As It Seems” is driven by a rough house drum pattern. As insistent as the drums are, the instrumentation is what takes it to the next level. The beautiful harmony and melodies connect this jam to the tradition of Detroit high tech jazz, fitting nicely into that lineage that Reekee clearly has great admiration for.

“In This Place” closes out the EP in style, dropping the tempo and cranking up the swing. The laid back funk reaches its peak with big phased strings that help lift the track up into the stratosphere, perfect for smoky after hours sessions.

This collection of tracks shows off Reekee’s versatility and musicality, fitting snugly into Sistrum’s hallowed catalog while at the same time keeping his own distinctive voice front and center.

Pool Boy is the side project of swiss-born Canadian producer Cyril Hahn. From an art student staying afloat with a menial job in a coffee shop to being Annie Mac-approved, his rise to prominence is a modern-day internet success story.

Rewind to 2013 when his pitch-shifted, game-changing reworks of classics evolved from casual SoundCloud uploads to Annie Mac, Romy Madley-Croft-endorsed hits (yep – of The xx). This sudden trend was followed up a couple of critically acclaimed EPs on the great PMR Records. In 2018 as he started to move away from club-ready music, he started digging into a more pop-leaning, ambient, traditional listeing experience that led to the genesis of Pool Boy. Master Plan was the Chicago based dance music project of Pepper Gomez and Tom O’Callahan. Spanning from 1984 to 1986, the groups development is in sync with the dance music scene of Chicago during that era. While their first record „Pushin’ Too Hard“ is a Windy City version of the NYC club music of the time and its European cross-pollination, „Electric Baile“ from two years later down the line is almost a quantum jump into house music. With the engineering help of Matt Warren, it bears the marks of Ron Hardy, Chip E, Farley Jackmaster Funk or the Wbmx dance party craze, if you will. Here you have remastered and updated versions by Enzo Elia and Gerd Janson. The first ones’ edit attempt of „Electric Baile“ ignited this edition. A custom-tailored main mix is completed by a dub and useful bonus beat version to do, what DJs used to do. Concluded by two edits of „Pushin’ Too Hard“ by GJ, you get two great slices of yesterday that are still major dance music blue prints today.

Spirit of Sundaze Ensemble (sose) is the latest evolution from London based DJ / producer, label and party series Secretsundaze. Sitting at the intersection of live music and electronic music innovation, leading contemporary musicians reimagine, record and perform a selection of tracks which have been foundational across Secretsundaze’s 20+ year history, embracing a myriad of influences from Balearic to synth pop to Brit funk.

EP 1 opens with their first single, a re-imagination of Photek’s seminal ‘Mine to Give’. Featuring Wayne Snow on vocals and garnering wide support from the likes of BBC 6 Music heads Gilles Peterson and Nabihah Iqbal, through to NTS and Worldwide FM tastemakers including Zakia, Moxie and Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy, the tempo is slowed and explored in a more synthy 80s production style.

Next is their take on Joyce Sims’ (rip) ‘Come into My Life’, moving the original Mantronix production into a more contemporary UK / Street Soul / Balearic territory.

The B-side sees them take on beloved Phil Asher (rip) production, Nathan Haines’ stunning ‘Earth is the Place’, a classic Secretsundaze record if ever there was one. Featuring the vocals of Cherise, the Sose version is a dance floor ready update which will appeal to all lovers of proper deep, soulful-leaning house music, one for the heads.

Closing the record is a flip of Wbeeza’s ‘Coast Spotting’. Featuring synths from the excellent Hinako Omori, this one goes in with an extended late night transcendental electronic / jazz rework with the original’s looped lead line modulating throughout the piece.

Leading musicians feature on the record including Myele Manzanza (Theo Parrish, Sound Signature), Lewis Moody (Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange), Nikos Ziarkas (Theon Cross, Chelsea Carmichael), Oli Savill (Basement Jaxx), and Johnny Brierley (Fofoulah).

Following their debut sold out show at Southbank’s Centre Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Ensemble next take to the London stage at the iconic EartH Theatre, Dalston on September 21st for an EP launch party as well as a headline open-air concert at Las Dalias, Ibiza as part of Beat Hotel on September 30th.

Born out of a desire to stretch outside of their comfort zones, and with a mutual respect for each others productions, the Natural Child EP brings us two original vocal tracks and two dub versions covering a spectrum of moods from classic soulful to deep, atmospheric, contemporary house.

Opening track Natural Child leads the charge with Crackazat’s trademark jazz-influenced piano part, swirling moog lines and vocal being complimented with Jimpster’s punchy drums and warm, rounded bassline. The result is a spacious and deceptively simple track which will wrap you up in its warm confines.

Next up we have a completely different take on Natural Child which ups the BPM and adds a more live, percussive and rolling vibe which will no doubt get the house dancers throwing down.

My Harmony comes next with its slick and soulful sound which draws inspiration from golden era NYC sounds of Blaze and Louie Vega while Nick Cohen’s live bass brings a bounce to the chunky, shuffling house beats.

Closing out the EP we have a dub version of My Harmony which loops up the Rhodes part, strips back the groove and adds layers of FX and arpeggiating synths resulting in a heads-down deep and soulful track to warm up the dance floor.

A track that’s been the subject of ID requests for months, title cut ‘Blue Monday’ kicks things off in style as infectious vocals and spiralling synths go to work above a wormhole of a bassline to provide a peak-time cut already proven to work dancefloors. ‘Join The Tribe’ leans on tight rolling grooves guided by crisp organic drums licks, rumbling low-ends and off-kilter samples, while ‘Orbiting’ is a spacey journey into the late night hours. Damian Schwartz makes a welcome return to Pulp for his third full-length album, La Sal De Tu Especie. The 11 track record was written over the last three years as a way of coping with some tough experiences and features remixes from K15 and Gifted & Blessed. It once again finds the Madrid producer serving up the sort of richly musical house that has always stood him apart.

Schwartz has been away for a while but emerged in the early 2000s with an artful take on house music. As a student of jazz, composition and bass, his intricate grooves have always been embellished with real melodic craftsmanship. In the past, they have come on this label, Esperanza and A Harmless Deed which he co-runs with Jose Cabrera. He has put out two albums before now and also works under the Epiphany alias as a producer and live act. He is a real master of his analog machinery and someone who never fails to bring fresh ideas. This superbly adventurous and widescreen new album proves that once again and shows off diverse influences such as 90s broken beat by acts like Hanna and 4 Hero, the early IDM of LFO and Aphex Twin and the Detroit house and electro styles of greats such as Juan Atkins, Teknotika, Marcellus Pittman and Kyle Hall.
