After his separation from Playhouse in 2007 and the rather longish break that followed it, it looks as if Isolée has finally found their new homebase with Pampa Records. Evidence of this may be found in such unprejudiced tracks as "Taktell", a single extracted from the album "Well-Spent Youth" . As is tyical for Isolée, it defies any clear-cut genre classification and creates its very own harmonic setting, merging associations of pop, house and distant landscapes into a unique sound voyage. Now his second EP on Pampa is being released, and "Allowance" doesn't leave an inch of a doubt where the road is headed. Without making any concessions to the needs of a DJ, from bar one the theme is being introduced in all its inherent necessity and then continually established until a seemingly worn-out, mainstream, pop autotune voice settles upon the cosy bass bed just like a cherry on the cake. We haven't known Isolée anywhere near as free and poppy in a very long time. A more mix-friendly version of the track will be available for digital download. "You Could Do Your Memories" lures the listener away into a daydream, as if he suddenly found himself in an unknown place at a new-wave party that cannot possibly have happened the way it did. "Wobble", on the other hand, leaves only few questions unanswered, the party definitely looks familiar, and just when we reach that point where the funk motif resulting from the fusion of bassline and chords is threatening to wear us down, we are being released.

After having met Mathias ‚Kapote‘ Modica, creative mind behind Germany’s well respected Toy Tonics label three years ago, East London born Cody Currie understood Kapote and his international TT Crew have the perfect understanding for his talents and share the same visions and so Cody joined the TT crew and released three EPs with the German label. Now finally he steps up to present his highly anticipated debut album ‘Lucas’. The 14 track LP is set for release 21 October 2022 with a string of pre-singles to drop until then. The roots of Cody’s artistry runs deep, hailing from Leytonstone in East London by his father a fashion designer and his Spanish mother a music writer, it was inevitable that Cody would follow suit in the world of creativity. Currie’s keen ear and penchant for retro disco licks, chopped keys, and broken beats have landed him also with 1 off releases on other notable labels like Razor-N-Tape, Dan Shake’s Shake Records. The past few years has found Cody in the midst of a fresh, unique buzz taking over Europe, predominantly in Berlin and London, as he bridges the gap between jazz and house music with his energetic DJ sets, talented instrumental skills and effortless swag. Playing the big Toy Tonics Jam happening all over Europe and similar to other artists on the TT label ‘connecting the dots’ between live and electronic music has garnered Cody a range of support in the press and radio world with fans including Pete Tong, Rolling Stone, Jamz Supernova, Mixmag and Gilles Peterson, with some journalists describing him as ‘The Tom Misch of jazzy house’. This debut album, like his EPs, represents the new essence of jazz burgeoning out of London’s youth scene of today. Mysticisms' prides itself on finding the groove, but with a nod (and wink) to discerning ears. However, sometimes it's right to just let it all out and go route one. Berlin based producer Daniel Scholz aka (dj) Leinad was all about the dancefloor, releasing a series of simple but highly effective EPs of cut up, looped house music that summed up that late 90s Chicago-NYC-London-Paris influenced bombs. The jack that house built the "heroes" with the "touch" Souvenirs embodies Leinad's sound. Moving from high-school DJ, to computer programmer to professional producer, DJ and soundtrack artist, remixing for the likes of Yellow and Peter Gabriel's Real World, moving from early classic mid-90s German techno and trance releases on to his 'Leinad' moniker Daniel spelt backwards), the series of releases on JXP can now go for dizzing sums. In Souvenirs, taken from the Disco Part's III EP, Mysticisms found the source - elastic bass, filtered loops, watertight kick and twisted disco'n' strings, all cut back and forth 'for the party' to abandon. Present day remixes come from Lewie Day's 'Deep Dean' project, offering a wonderful example of an artist at work, a laid back groove, pushing all the right dancefloor buttons, all presented with respect to the past, but with acres of modern day swing; Mysticisms' own cohort Piers Harrison, side stepping his edit school as one of Soft Rocks, to produce a literal peak time acid banger; and to close the 'dj' returns, Leinad offers a bumping 2022 remake to show he's still a teacher. "Dekmantel Ten is a mirror of Dekmantel Festival. The 7x12" boxset includes seven records that mirror the seven stages to be found at the 2024 event, their 10th edition since 2013. The tracklisting isn't rigid — some of the musicians gathered here have in fact played at most of the available stages — but like a Möbius strip looping round, or a cat-and-mouse game, it's not hard to discern a symbiotic relationship. Split seven ways, DKMNTL100 is a testament to the art of curation and the importance of quality control.

At artist level, Dekmantel Ten finds room for several artists — including Karenn, Jeff Mills and Marcel Dettmann — who played at the very first Dekmantel Festival in 2013, and are by now impossible to detach. The Loop's disc contains names whose stories have dovetailed alongside the festival, concluding in memorable headline moments: Young Marco, Palms Trax and Alchemical Sisters, aka Eris Drew and Octo Octa.

Widen the lens and you'll find history from across the landscape: the laboratories of professorial techno (Dasha Rush, Steve Rachmad, DJ Nobu) and gilded halls of house (Steffi, Luca Lozano, Bufiman); varied soundsystem icons (Kode9, Adrian Sherwood, DVS1) meeting limelights of contemporary Amsterdam (upsammy, Identified Patient, Zohar); as well as the modern conduits channelling decades of outernational vibrations (Nick León, BADSISTA, Animistic Beliefs, Veracco and a great many more).

Vermelho Wonder is a Brazilian duo formed by music producer and DJ Márcio Vermelho and performer/singer Ivana Wonder. Since their formation in 2016, they have been acclaimed for their avant-garde and experimental style. ‘Se Você’ is an electronic torch song that was originally released digitally in 2021 by Gop Tun (also one of Brazil’s main festivals for Electronic music). For the first time the single is brought to Vinyl alongside a new Jura Soundsystem interpretation. Bonus track ‘Catman’ (Dub) rounds off the 12” with a touch of underground house.
