This unreleased B side "Get Right" Features Sonny Banks and produced by none other than Lord Finesse is a textured, infectious, hypnotic composition that gives you a window into the struggle of the inner city. This 7-inch is from the upcoming full length Limited Edition Digipak CD "The Anomaly: Reloaded".

In the late 80's and early 90's Powerule stood century as the vanguard of an eventual Latin explosion in Hip Hop. Dominating mix shows and video mediums the Nuyorican experience in hip hop culture finally had their own voice. In 1991 they released their debut album Volume 1” on Interscope Records that featured Leaders of The New School, Large Professor & Kurious Jorge. Powerule and 2Pac were the first Hip Hop artists signed to Interscope.

Powerule went on to pave the way for artist like Fat Joe , Kurious , Big Pun , Tony Touch , The Beatnuts and others. Throughout the 1990s they released a string of classic singles such as "Dawn to Dusk”, "Bright Lights Big City", "Rock your Knot Quick" , "Heatin up" & “Well Connected” produced by some of Hip Hop’s most celebrated producers: Mark Ronson, Erick Sermon & VIC from The Beatnuts.

Since then Powerule moved on to other areas of interest. 20 years later these pioneers have returned with even more potent production and lyricism. Their first ever soon to be classic 7" vinyl features Hip Hop Royalties finest. Large Professor gifts Powerule with a melodic masterpiece on the track "Glorify n Praise", an adult contemporary look at life and its peaks and valleys. The B Side "Get Right" Featuring Sonny Banks and produced by none other than Lord Finesse is a textured, infectious, hypnotic composition that gives you a window into the struggle of the inner city. These 2 tracks are from their full length “Anomaly: Reloaded” album available on a limited edition eco-friendly Digipak CD. Mit Donvtello holen sie sich niemand geringeren als den Lieblingsrapper deiner Lieblingsrapper ans Mic. Der partytaugliche Track vereint die schleppende Eleganz des Memphis- Sounds und das treibende Vocal-Stakkato ala Bone Thugs-N-Harmony in Perfektion. Und während der Master of Ceremony erklärt, warum er keine Zeit hat,
sondern 24/7 high ist und mit den Dopeboys abhängt, überkommt einen das unbändige Verlangen, den Lautstärkeregler aufzureißen und die Autofenster runter zu kurbeln - so sehr nach lauer Sommernacht gepaart mit einer astreinen take-no-Bullshit-Attitüde schmeckt der Sound.

Ebenso lecker, bzw. „Juicy“ ist die zweite Single. Eine Hommage an die Traumfrau, der Donvtello „hintererläuft wie Goofy, denn ihr body ist so juicy - er ist eine Gefahr“. Die selbstbestimmte Queen von der Straße, die einen Fick auf Oberflächlichkeiten gibt und ihr eigenes Ding durchzieht, ist für Donvtello ebenso faszinierend wie beängstigend, denn: „spirituell sind wir auf einer Ebene, ich glaube, sie bricht mir das Herz“. NOW available on CD! When Curren$y (aka Spitta Andretti) & Harry Fraud
collab, they create classics, something which is most definitely evidenced on
‘Cigarette Boats’. The merger of Harry’s signature production and Spitta’s
deadly flow show why XXL Magazine named it the ""2012 EP of the Year."" The
duo decided it was time to make Cigarette Boats available in all formats.
Fraud recalled his audition for Curren$y, after meeting him while working on
a Smoke DZA project: ""I had met Curren$y briefly for one second at a radio
station, but that was the first time we really kicked it. He just asked me to play
some beats, and I played like five beats, and he was just like, 'Yo, I need all of

On his twelfth studio LP in nearly 20 years, Reks sounds just as hungry and passionate on T.H.I.N.G.S. Just listen to how he tackles white privilege on the otherwise catchy “Rachel Green” or the way he chronicles being Black in America on “White House.” That’s not even mentioning “The Complex,” a lyrically gripping look at Ptsd and Big Pharma featuring Pharoahe Monch, and his personal favorite track, “Nana & Grampy’s Song,” a heartfelt dedication to Black love. For Reks, it’s all about delivering the best possible music to his fans while staying true to himself. And he does exactly that not just through his own gifts, but also through collaborations with the likes of Pharoahe Monch, Lil Fame, Nottz, Apollo Brown, Statik Selektah, Evidence, and Marco Polo, among others.
