For the creation of the 3rd Bulgarian Beat Wave, we chose a small village tucked away in the northern part of the country. Dobrevtsi, located in the Lovech Province, has a population of less than 500 and is home to some pretty good rakia (a national drink you must try) based on our short, but sweet interaction with one of the locals.

This time the weather wasn’t on our side (4 days of non-stop rain), but that’s the beauty of those experiences – you go with the flow. The beat heroes you already know were joined by a new name – Vladko, who added his signature brass/groove energy to the mix. The compilation is a perfect reflection of what we all experienced – a healthy blend of feel-good cozy chill and dark/mellow vibes.

Just like the country’s diverse natural landscape, the idea behind Bulgarian Beat Wave compilation is to offer a non-linear sonic experience and guide listeners through the unique and varied sound of some of the most talented local beatmakers.

The foundation stone for DC+ (lp) was laid in spring 2020 during the lockdown. The studio in the Deltaareal in Langendorf near Solothurn, Switzerland became a place of refuge and making music together became a creative outlet.The two Musicians often met by chance for sound sessions in which the first sounds of the instrumental LP were created. Two Artists, close Friends of many years and masters of their trade have been enlisted to design the album cover. With the release of DC+ (lp) in winter 2023, Delta Collective is setting a first sign and inviting the listener to immerse themselves in to their cosmos.

The Jungle Bros embraced of a range of styles -- including house music, Afrocentric philosophy, a James Brown fixation, and of course, the use of jazz sample , on this reissue double LP Release on Colored Audiophile grade Vinyl , the I got U album is remastered and re-released with additional tracks .Michael Small (Mike Gee), Nathaniel Hall (Afrika Baby Bam), and Sammy Burwell (DJ Sammy B). Known as the pioneers of the fusion of jazz, hip-hop, and house music, they were the first hip-hop group to collaborate with a house-music producer. The trio released their debut album, Straight out the Jungle in July 1988. Their hip-house club hit single, "I'll House You" was added to the album in late-1988 reissues. Fostered by Kool DJ Red Alert, the Jungle Brothers success would pave the way for De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, and eventually the Native Tongues collective that they founded.
