With the intention of doing a proper and full out choir record, Helvetet På Jorden was initiated by Blod two years ago. While the finished album became something slightly different, it's a much more vocal-based record compared to its thematically linked predecessors Pilgrimssånger (2022) and Där Ska Barnet Vara (2023). Deeply influenced by Swedish church music and psalms, Helvetet På Jorden consists of 10 of the strongest and most fulfilled Blod songs to date, all dealing with the interaction between love and evil on planet earth. All instruments and music by Gustaf Dicksson, with vocals also by Anna Johannesson, Elin Engstrom, Gittan Kock, Myran Dicksson and Magnus Jäverling.

Edition of 500 copies, comes with a lyric booklet. Mastered by Joakim Karlsson.

Kenny Hooper is a Detroit mainstay and formerly a part of Scan7 who now makes his solo debut on Acquit Records. It continues a purple patch of late that includes his remix work on Nate Nubia's 'Dracula and Frankenstein' and his trilogy on Elypsia Records. The title cut 'Neon Skies' opens with lush synths arp shimmering over crispy, punchy electro drum programming. 'Imagination' has a dubbed-out low end and kinetic kicks with smeared synth lines and intimate vocals bringing some seduction to the sounds. S.H.I.T. has always been a riff machine, and For a Better World adds 'Corporate Funded Killing Technology,' 'Imminent Destruction,' and the climactic closer, 'Captive (… in the Mutilated Vista)' to their bulging canon of monster hooks. Like Metallica or the Ramones, S.H.I.T. writes the kind of riffs that beg you to pick up a guitar and strum along, but only the most dedicated practitioners will approach the energy of those relentless downstrokes that have lit up so many 21st-century pits. TST was an early punk band from Vasteras, an hour north of Stockholm, that played tuneful and somewhat anthemic punk rock. This was their debut 7", released in 1981, containing 4 songs. The band will go on having a really long life, though their most productive period was in the first half of the 80s. The original 7" was pressed in 300 copies, didn´t have any inserts and you never see it in the wild nowadays. This reissue comes with a 4 page insert that contains all the lyrics, photos, gig flyers and an essay about the band.

Starting back in 1982, in the following 7 years Kbo! became one of the leading Punk/HC bands in Yugoslavia alongside KUD Idijoti. They released a handful of demo tapes and only at the very end of the 80s had a chance to release their first full length on Greek label Wipe Out Records (Panx Romana, Stress, Anti, Chaos Generation,...). These recordings collected throughout the 80s show the band in their best moments. To top it all, the album comes with an 8 page fanzine that tells the band's history until 1989 together with lyrics and a huge amount of pictures and flyers.

Co-vocalist / founder / multi-instrumentalist Annie-Claude Deschênes’ (Duchess Says) signature howl and vocal acrobatics are present, but so is a tendency towards beautiful melodies. Bassist Philippe Clement’s (Duchess Says) brings a nastier bottom end that locks onto Simon Besré’s drumming with a death grip for the entire affair. And guitarist / co-vocalist Roy Vucino (Red Mass, CPC Gangbangs, Black Leather Rose, Les Sexareenos, a gazillion others) goes bonkers with wildass blown-out guitar that’s like hornets caught in one’s hair.

Four years after their Discrepant debut - 'oooo' -, Lisbon-based travellers Jibóia return to the fold with another offering of globetrotting psychedelia with 'Salar'. With the core trio of Óscar Silva, Ricardo Martins and Mestre André augmented by a stellar parade of collaborators on various roles, 'Salar' further expands on the transglobal visions by now pretty trademarked by the band. Intersped among shorter vignettes for drums, saxophone and bass, each of the more fully fleshed tracks casts a guest to elevate Jibóia's music to uncharted realms - both in a mystical and geographical sense.

Opener 'Selar' summons the cello of songstress Joana Guerra for a skewed dialogue with Silva's guitar, propelled by Martins' drums and percussion and André's electronic textures into 4 minutes and 20 seconds that feel epic - if there was any psychedelic numerological symbolism needed. On 'Solar', Silva's non-western plucking rides on for Yaw Tembe's trumpet to veer in a multitude in directions, while the mysterious 'Sitar' conjures the voice of moroccan musician Ayoub El Ayadi for a contemplative nighttime prayer. Elsewhere, guitarist Rui Carvalho aka Filho da Mãe injects dissonant guitar lines unto 'Sarar's pummelling dance and Pedro Augusto's electronics hover below the shapeshifting dynamics of 'Sonar', among mesmerising keyboard lines. 'Salir' featuring Daiyen Jone enchanted flute brings the album to a close at its most reflective, all crepuscular synth lines and reverbed handclaps.
