Shacke One has been a rotation favorite at HHV since 2014. His third solo album Shackitistan is not an exception. 10 underground hits, produced by the usual suspects Klaus Layer and Achim Funk.

SAFE was released in January 2021 on Bandcamp, SPACE followed a year later also in January. Now both releases are available together on record with funky artwork by Felix Plien in gatefold sleeve including printed inner sleeves. The 2LP additionally contains exclusively all instrumentals.

Mix and master are done by the gifted B-Side, who also did the majority of the production besides beats by Soulmade, dédé and L Gonzz. Guests on the mic are Yustus Malick, Herr König, Milli Dance from Waving The Guns as well as Partner in Rhyme Dennis Real. The cuts come from DJ Robert Smith.

The A-side features the original version of the title track and the B-side features a version recorded by Lambert.

Originally released in 2014, AzudemSK put himself on a wider screen in the German rap scene with "Classic". True school rap from front to end including a feature track with Slowy. The 20 Years HHV edition includes all instrumentals.

»Jazz'n'Beats« is a new mini-compilation selected by Oonops and it's named as the eponymous »Oonops Drops«-series on Brooklyn Radio.

In the mix are renowned beatproducer DJ Mitsu The Beats from Japan who joined forces with 1Co.INR for a laid back instrumental tune with a well known core melody. Next up label-graphic design head honcho is back with a new'n'sweet mini beat called »Parakeets« before we get to the flipside. This gets started with German underground rap & producer duo 4Trackboy & Echomann a.k.a. Retrogott & Twit One who drop a sharp and jazzy dope tune for this release which gets rounded down with a beautiful jazzy hip-hop instrumental by Japanese jazz musician and composer Kazumi Kaneda.

Previously only available digitally, the album finally gets its well-deserved vinyl release. Slowy raps on 10 tracks produced by Niko, with a feature by Tom Hengst.

"Dicker, krieg dein Arsch hoch und hol dir dein Haq. Keiner wird's für dich tun." Das ist der Gedanke den Ipp Halver hatte als er anfing sein Deutsch Neo-Soul Album zu schreiben. Und die erste Single "Keiner" des kommenden Album "Kneipenkind" knallt rein und stellt klar, dass er seinen Arsch hochgekriegt hat und es eben kein anderer für ihn getan hat. Das Ganze erinnert an einen jungen Anderson .Paak straight aus Berlin-Schöneberg, produziert von Swoosh Hood mit Livedrums von Aidan Keith Lowe. Das Projekt „Kneipenkind" ( VÖ 26.11) ist das Debütalbum von Ipp Halver und das wahrscheinlich erste Neo-Soul Album auf Deutsch. Das Album ist biografisch beeinflusst und beschreibt den innerlichen Konflikt zwischen Kirche und Kneipe, Erzählungen von Erlebten im Großstadtdschungel Berlin, Sucht, der Gang und der ewigen Suche nach der vermeintlich Richtigen. Musikalisch hört man deutlich die Einflüsse von Ipp Halver — Hier mischen sich Soul, Gospel, Jazz, Blues, 90er Hip Hop und Trapelemente, um sich zum Deutsch Neo-Soul Sound zu vereinen. „Kneipenkind" ist eine Reise ins Ich eines jungen Berliner Mannes, der von Song zu Song führt, wie ein gutes Buch von Kapitel zu Kapitel - und man möchte natürlich das Ende der Geschichte hören. Durch die jahrelange Live- und Studioerfahrung als Gospel- und Soulsänger gab es die Vision für ein Deutsch Neo-Soul Album schon seit langer Zeit, aber erst in den letzten 5 Jahren wurde an den konkreten Vorstellungen, sowie Soundbild gearbeitet und wird nun 2021 serviert!

Seit 2005 produzieren die beiden Grundschulfreunde Rato und Siriuz gemeinsam Musik. Nach zahlreichen Veröffentlichungen auf Tape und CD erscheint mit „Held außer Betrieb“ nun endlich das erste Album auf Vinyl. Auf 8 abwechslungsreichen Songs beerdigt Siriuz wacke Mcees, macht sich’s bequem auf Wolkendächern und reflektiert dieses turbulente Sein, immer irgendwo zwischen Drama und Satire. Rato serviert das Ganze auf einem jazzigen Klangteppich, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Freunde von anspruchsvollem Boom Bap sollten hier definitiv auf ihre Kosten kommen.
