Diese Momente formen uns. Sie machen uns zum Individuum. Obwohl jedes der vergangenen T9 Releases auch immer eine Art Selbstporträt ist, war die persönliche Ebene des Schreibers bisher selten so greifbar wie hier - Ihre Doppel-Single "Form" (VÖ 24.04.) kündigt nicht nur ihr neues Album "90/10“ (VÖ 29.05.) an, sie zeigt auch, dass das Œuvre von Torky Tork und Doz9 ein sich stetig auszubreitender und ganzheitlicher Kosmos zu sein scheint. Chapeau!
Mit dem kommenden Konzeptalbum “90/10” wird ihr einzigartiger Stil kompromisslos manifestiert - wie der Albumtitel bereits kryptisch ankündigt, geht es hier um 10 Tracks, die jeweils genau 90 Sekunden lang sind; so als wäre die geringe Aufmerksamkeitsspanne in Zeiten der medialen Überflutung mit einkalkuliert. Schauplatz der Kreativität und Entstehungsort des Albums ist dieses Mal eine in den 80er Jahren besetzte Schule im Herzen Amsterdams.
Von düsteren anti-zyklischen Songs mit virtuos eingespuckten Selbstbeweihräucherungen über tanzbare Gesellschaftskritiken, finden sich bei “90/10” erstmals auch offene Reflexionen des eigenen Formungsprozesses. Ihre Musik kann Wege unzugänglich machen oder Horizonte öffnen - was von beidem, entscheidet jeder für sich selbst.

After a small teaser 2020 with the song and video "Rundherum" including unreleased Huckey part, the three sat down in the studio and polished the new album "Mehr Oder Weniger". 13 tracks that represent everything that makes TEXTA unique: sophisticated beats, cuts and scratches by DJ Dan and the two MC's Laima & Flip, who jump on the instrumentals with fresh energy. Philosophical as ever, perhaps more personal than ever, with the necessary wink towards their long career, but the conviction that this changed rap game still needs the three old masters.

So now finally live on tour again, in Run DMC style two MCs and a DJ, HipHop to the fullest with all the hits and the new material, more is not possible, less certainly not.

If it rises to between 39 and 41 degrees Celsius, the person concerned has a high fever. Extremely high fever is when a body temperature of over 41 degrees Celsius is measured and a mixtape is released.

Maura moves playfully in her universe between soulful head voices and heavy rapflows which put everybody considering themself as being able to compete in their place. Punctiliously and lovingly arranged, stylishly orchestrated and, at the same time, uncompromisingly edgy that there is – with all humbleness – nothing left but to speak out the Madlib/Erykah reference out loud.

Ten years ago, we would not have dreamt of such exquisit demos falling into our laps. Fred Red and Maura deliver with “Grimus“ a long overdue souljazz LP being a perfect match for Sichtexot.

Ein Kollabo auf das viele Fans gewartet haben, denn wenn unter diesem Titel zwei Rapper ein Album veröffentlichen, dann wer, wenn nicht die Straßenraplegenden Massiv und Manuellsen, die schon vor Jahren gemeinsame Tracks releast haben?! Der Kreis schließt sich.

GHETTO umfasst gefährliche und harte Tracks, die dennoch mit Herz sind, authentisch aus dem Block über Loyalität, Bruderschaft, über den täglichen Hustle und allen Widrigkeiten die das Leben dort mit sich bringt.

Manuellsen und Massiv, die das Rapgame immer gelebt haben und sich durch den dort währenden Druck in Diamanten verwandelt haben, bauen sich in GHETTO ein musikalisches Denkmal mit authentischem Sound. Die beiden Rapper sind und bleiben ghettorisiert!
