In 2013, "Fresh & Umbenannt" certainly marked a new step for Retrogott & Hulk Hodn by introducing a new stage name, but the album still owns the remarkable sound of the duo. 23 tracks in total with a feature by Morlockk Dilemma.

Originally released in 2014, AzudemSK put himself on a wider screen in the German rap scene with "Classic". True school rap from front to end including a feature track with Slowy. The 20 Years HHV edition includes all instrumentals.

Dennis Real teamed up with producer Fred Red for the new solo album "Pelican Valley". 12 tracks with features from Lord Folter, Slowy, Maura & 12Vince, AzudemSK contributes the gatefold piece. 12 Drunkies Funk to the fullest: One What? One Love!

SAFE was released in January 2021 on Bandcamp, SPACE followed a year later also in January. Now both releases are available together on record with funky artwork by Felix Plien in gatefold sleeve including printed inner sleeves. The 2LP additionally contains exclusively all instrumentals.

Mix and master are done by the gifted B-Side, who also did the majority of the production besides beats by Soulmade, dédé and L Gonzz. Guests on the mic are Yustus Malick, Herr König, Milli Dance from Waving The Guns as well as Partner in Rhyme Dennis Real. The cuts come from DJ Robert Smith.

After a small teaser 2020 with the song and video "Rundherum" including unreleased Huckey part, the three sat down in the studio and polished the new album "Mehr Oder Weniger". 13 tracks that represent everything that makes TEXTA unique: sophisticated beats, cuts and scratches by DJ Dan and the two MC's Laima & Flip, who jump on the instrumentals with fresh energy. Philosophical as ever, perhaps more personal than ever, with the necessary wink towards their long career, but the conviction that this changed rap game still needs the three old masters.

So now finally live on tour again, in Run DMC style two MCs and a DJ, HipHop to the fullest with all the hits and the new material, more is not possible, less certainly not.

»Jazz'n'Beats« is a new mini-compilation selected by Oonops and it's named as the eponymous »Oonops Drops«-series on Brooklyn Radio.

In the mix are renowned beatproducer DJ Mitsu The Beats from Japan who joined forces with 1Co.INR for a laid back instrumental tune with a well known core melody. Next up label-graphic design head honcho is back with a new'n'sweet mini beat called »Parakeets« before we get to the flipside. This gets started with German underground rap & producer duo 4Trackboy & Echomann a.k.a. Retrogott & Twit One who drop a sharp and jazzy dope tune for this release which gets rounded down with a beautiful jazzy hip-hop instrumental by Japanese jazz musician and composer Kazumi Kaneda.

Obwohl jedes der vergangenen T9 Releases auch immer eine Art Selbstporträt ist, war die persönliche Ebene des Schreibers bisher selten so greifbar wie hier - Ihre Doppel-Single "Form" (VÖ 24.04.) kündigt nicht nur ihr neues Album "90/10“ (VÖ 29.05.) an, sie zeigt auch, dass das Œuvre von Torky Tork und Doz9 ein sich stetig auszubreitender und ganzheitlicher Kosmos zu sein scheint. Mit dem kommenden Konzeptalbum “90/10” wird ihr einzigartiger Stil kompromisslos manifestiert - wie der Albumtitel bereits kryptisch ankündigt, geht es hier um 10 Tracks, die jeweils genau 90 Sekunden lang sind; so als wäre die geringe Aufmerksamkeitsspanne in Zeiten der medialen Überflutung mit einkalkuliert. Schauplatz der Kreativität und Entstehungsort des Albums ist dieses Mal eine in den 80er Jahren besetzte Schule im Herzen Amsterdams.
Von düsteren anti-zyklischen Songs mit virtuos eingespuckten Selbstbeweihräucherungen über tanzbare Gesellschaftskritiken, finden sich bei “90/10” erstmals auch offene Reflexionen des eigenen Formungsprozesses. Vienna 2009; Whizz Vienna, an Austrian musician is nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the category 'Album of the year'. Why and how that happened, he is still not sure of to this day. By now, the album in question 'Versager ohne Zukunft', which is produced in collaboration with Kamp, has turned into a classic. Even though he has released several projects since then, such as the renowned 'Wiener Staub' Beat-LP, it has become quiet around the producer. His studio existence and his musical creation more or less turned into dust. Darmstadt 2020; during a thorough tidying up of old hard drives a folder labeled 'Whizz Vienna Beatz' experiences a musical renaissance. The dopeness of the material is undeniable to this day and that kind of freshness cannot be just left in the digital wasteland ready to rot. The search for the missing Whizz Vienna was more challenging than expected due to the fact that he enjoyed his own presence to be buried in the underground. In the end, the hidden asset has been unvcovered, plans have been cultivated and now after a two year waiting time the final product is ready to be launched. 13 long-lost instrumentals, Kamp and Prinz Pi spitting on 2 of them, cuts by DJ Vektor, 1 love for Eva.

Limited edition of 300 copies of the "Yummy EP" by Das Kate Schellenbach Experiment, the producer duo Torsten Scholz and Tom Körbler from Berlin/Augsburg.

Torsten is the bass player of the Berlin band Beatsteaks. Tom is an independent producer, engineer and musician and also works for Beatsteaks among others. As a collaborative artist project, DKSBE! releases singles at regular intervals, in cooperation with known or unknown musicians.

The "Yummy EP" presented here comes in the classic single format, which is rather unusual for a rap EP. If now it becomes clear that the 5 songs have a maximum length of about 1:30 min, one feels rather reminded of punk or hardcore releases of the 80s or 90s. That was also the purpose of this release from DKSBE!

Logo, that the sound does not come along so hanging. Bang already! Short crisp rap songs with punk attitude, if you needed a description, then probably this one.
