Deichkind and HHV once again go into the next round and offer you this album in a special edition limited to 2000 pieces in müritz blue. Deichkind's new single "In Der Natur" is the first harbinger of the eighth album called "Neues vom Dauerzustand", which will be released in spring 2023.

The band around Sebastian Dürre aka Porky, Henning Besser aka La Perla as well as Philipp Grütering aka Kryptik Joe had started working on the new album during the pandemic and the general mood and atmosphere of that early pandemic phase has inscribed itself quite automatically into lyrics and music of the new songs. So Deichkind are back - at exactly the right time.

The first single release from the album, the ambiguous song "In Der Natur", combines cryptic yodeling art with abstract criticism of civilization and shows: Deichkind's social criticism works so well because it doesn't come from the bleachers and certainly not from the ivory tower. Deichkind always mean themselves, too, when they mock the impositions of the present - and in the process, as if in passing, dress up even the supposedly most unwieldy topics in potential hits that you want to sing along to right away.

Deichkind are getting better and better, more precise, more biting. So it's good that it's finally starting again. With the eighth Deichkind album and a tour in summer 2023.

In 2013, "Fresh & Umbenannt" certainly marked a new step for Retrogott & Hulk Hodn by introducing a new stage name, but the album still owns the remarkable sound of the duo. 23 tracks in total with a feature by Morlockk Dilemma.

Und die erste Single "Keiner" des kommenden Album "Kneipenkind" knallt rein und stellt klar, dass er seinen Arsch hochgekriegt hat und es eben kein anderer für ihn getan hat. Das Projekt „Kneipenkind" ( VÖ 26.11) ist das Debütalbum von Ipp Halver und das wahrscheinlich erste Neo-Soul Album auf Deutsch. Das Album ist biografisch beeinflusst und beschreibt den innerlichen Konflikt zwischen Kirche und Kneipe, Erzählungen von Erlebten im Großstadtdschungel Berlin, Sucht, der Gang und der ewigen Suche nach der vermeintlich Richtigen. Musikalisch hört man deutlich die Einflüsse von Ipp Halver — Hier mischen sich Soul, Gospel, Jazz, Blues, 90er Hip Hop und Trapelemente, um sich zum Deutsch Neo-Soul Sound zu vereinen. „Kneipenkind" ist eine Reise ins Ich eines jungen Berliner Mannes, der von Song zu Song führt, wie ein gutes Buch von Kapitel zu Kapitel - und man möchte natürlich das Ende der Geschichte hören. Durch die jahrelange Live- und Studioerfahrung als Gospel- und Soulsänger gab es die Vision für ein Deutsch Neo-Soul Album schon seit langer Zeit, aber erst in den letzten 5 Jahren wurde an den konkreten Vorstellungen, sowie Soundbild gearbeitet und wird nun 2021 serviert!

Teecain (aka MC Teekanne), bavarian rap legend and co-founder of Munich's rap group Echorausch delivers two fresh new tracks.
