Isoliert in der Brandenburger Datsche und somit befreit vom Alltag begann Yaneq Ende 2020 am Schlagzeug und am Klavier Grooves einzuspielen und Reime über diese zu rappen. So kamen in nächtlichen Sessions immer mehr Stücke zusammen. Das Prinzip: Alles selber einspielen à la Stevie Wonder und endlose Reimassoziationen im Stile MF Dooms in abgeschiedener Pampa kombinieren. Die Beats humpeln, die Grooves hängen und sind doch am Ende rund.

SAFE was released in January 2021 on Bandcamp, SPACE followed a year later also in January. Now both releases are available together on record with funky artwork by Felix Plien in gatefold sleeve including printed inner sleeves. The 2LP additionally contains exclusively all instrumentals.

Mix and master are done by the gifted B-Side, who also did the majority of the production besides beats by Soulmade, dédé and L Gonzz. Guests on the mic are Yustus Malick, Herr König, Milli Dance from Waving The Guns as well as Partner in Rhyme Dennis Real. The cuts come from DJ Robert Smith.

Vienna 2009; Whizz Vienna, an Austrian musician is nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the category 'Album of the year'. Why and how that happened, he is still not sure of to this day. By now, the album in question 'Versager ohne Zukunft', which is produced in collaboration with Kamp, has turned into a classic. Even though he has released several projects since then, such as the renowned 'Wiener Staub' Beat-LP, it has become quiet around the producer. His studio existence and his musical creation more or less turned into dust. Darmstadt 2020; during a thorough tidying up of old hard drives a folder labeled 'Whizz Vienna Beatz' experiences a musical renaissance. The dopeness of the material is undeniable to this day and that kind of freshness cannot be just left in the digital wasteland ready to rot. The search for the missing Whizz Vienna was more challenging than expected due to the fact that he enjoyed his own presence to be buried in the underground. In the end, the hidden asset has been unvcovered, plans have been cultivated and now after a two year waiting time the final product is ready to be launched. 13 long-lost instrumentals, Kamp and Prinz Pi spitting on 2 of them, cuts by DJ Vektor, 1 love for Eva.

Blabberastic Semantics is a collaboration album between BlabberMouf and Sneadr. Sneadr is an excellent producer and Blabber has known classics albums to his name. This album just kinda happened right place right time type music! 16 on the spot sessions resulting in 16 bangers. Both go way back, Sneadr was a B-boy who hung out with the crew (tipb, Hvz) that Blab was in and started to make beats around that time.

Thats 10 years ago today and the guys have both developed into full blown hip hop artists with various projects to their names. It was always meant to happen that this album would get made it was just the matter of when.

Galv ist ein Ausnahme-MC, der großen Respekt innerhalb der HipHop-Szene genießt und inzwischen auch im Mainstream eine feste Größe ist. Sein Rapstil und seine Stimme sind in der deutschen HipHop-Landschaft absolute Unikate.

Auch als Filmemacher und Host der ARD-Dokumentation „Wer rettet die Clubs?“ konnte Galv dieses Jahr schon auf sich aufmerksam machen.

Mit Vola legt er nun ein Album vor, auf dem jeder einzelne Song eine Single sein könnte. Unterstützt wird er dabei von der Creme de la Creme der deutschen HipHop Produzenten wie Suff Daddy, Torky Tork, Maniac, S Fidelty, Audiotism, Jan Faati uvm.

Ob krachende Tanzflächenbretter wie „So Fly“, Oldschool-Funk-inspirierte BoomBap-Tracks wie „Phonk Station“ oder melancholische Abgesänge wie „Flakka“ - Galv beherrscht sämtliche Tonlagen und klingt doch immer unverwechselbar wie Galv.
