It was as part of the European Demo Scene that Kyd first worked with the eventual founders of IO Interactive, going on to score their stealth-action debut. Despite the memory constraints of the DirectMusic system at the time, Kyd delivered a simmering combination of ambient and cinematic music. His signature sound of grand melodies set against groove-based electronica is in evidence here, especially in the hypnotic main title track.

An eminent event like Worlds demands a legendary theme song to match. Each year, Riot Games taps talented superstar musicians to craft a new Worlds Anthem, performed live at the competition and released later with a music video to match. These themes, from incredible artists like Zedd, Lil Nas X, and now, for 2023, NewJeans, have never been collected together on a single vinyl release — until now.



iam8bit and Riot are proud to present League of Legends Worlds Anthems (Vol 1: 2014-2023). It’s a full decade of Worlds Anthems, collected together on two sides of a 1xLP for the very first time. We knew this illustrious release deserved a very special vinyl treatment. That’s why we pressed the record on a very special Worlds Blue Vinyl. Plus, it wouldn’t be an iam8bit release without fantastic cover art to adorn your record shelf, so we tapped our pals at Envar Entertainment to craft amazing illustrations celebrating the past, present, and future of the League of Legends Worlds Championship.

* 20 tracks from the 2002 stealth-action game * Sealed mailer marked “classified” * Traditional black heavyweight LPs * Deluxe double gatefold sleeve * Brand new illustrations by Daniel Weisz * Additional composition and arrangement by Pierre Földes 47 is no stranger to carefully placed needles… Jesper Kyd and the team at IO Interactive agreed to change instrumental direction for the intentionally more grand and mainstream sequel Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. Plunging headfirst into the world of orchestral melodrama, Kyd worked with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra and Hungarian Radio Choir to imbue the second Hitman game with a sense of strife and splendour. His signature style is still intact in the live recorded orchestrations: strong melodies, catchy rhythms and harmonic influences from all over the globe. The early series’ trademark groovy electronica fills out the soundtrack, incorporating world music elements to suit 47’s globetrotting escapades.

* Music from the hit action-roguelite X base-management game * 42 tracks mastered for vinyl * Red and black splatter heavyweight LPs * Sleeve artwork by Carles DalmauNow here’s some wax worthy of worship… We’ve summoned forth a vinyl set forged in celebration of the demonically great music and art of Cult of the Lamb. 42 tracks specially mastered for vinyl will be pressed to heavyweight LPs with red and black splatter effect. These come housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve adorned with artwork by illustrator Carles Dalmau. Cult of the Lamb’s composer and audio director River Boy (Narayana Johnson) faced the challenge of reflecting the two sides of the game: the safety of the cult’s home base, where marimbas, mallets and other sonically ‘little’ instruments are woven into laid-back lo-fi electronica tracks; and the dungeons, where heavily processed voices and gritty synth elements sit atop dense beats and distorted bass for a darker occult energy.

Composed by well-known Japanese soundtrack composer Satoru Kosaki (Monogatari series, Fireworks, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), this record is an eclectic musical mix with plenty of distinctive jazz-infused vibes.

First season released on Netflix March 2020 - season two airs in July 2021.

This triple LP set features brand new vinyl sleeve artwork by illustrator Samuel Donato aka DXSinfinite. Tracklists have been curated by four-time Guinness World Record-holder, multi-game world champion and all-round fighting game community legend Ryan Hart.

As with other titles in our series of releases, Tekken TAG Tournament has been specially remastered by Joe Caithness and will be pressed onto 180g heavyweight black vinyl LPs housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve.
