End of Dragons harkens the collapse of the beloved and blighted scaly ones, sure, but in the same breath, it also welcomes new beginnings for a video game soundtrack, drenched in thousands of years of Korean tradition. Maestro Maclaine Diemer, a mainstay of the franchise for the last decade, dreams big and soars, assembling a superteam of native Korean musicians, vocalists and scholars to create this album’s absolutely brilliant arrangements. This is peak orchestral majesty for not just Guild Wars, but game soundtracks of the last decade — one that the BAFTAs and other awards would be wise to pay attention to. It’s epic stuff peppered with decadent nuance, where closing your eyes takes you on a windblown ride through instrumental incantations rarely heard in productions outside of Korea. “The Cycle Ends” is one of so many especially transcendent and unexpected tracks, enraptured by instrumental grandeur and the woven tapestry of marvelous, traditional Korean operatic vocals. Continuing the tradition that began with Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire, iam8bit is so very proud to team up with ArenaNet for this third Guild Wars 2 vinyl installment.

Video Game LoFi: Kirby includes music from Nintendo’s Kirby's Adventure, Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe, Kirby Super Star, and more, covering fan favorites from Green Greens (from “Kirby and the Forgotten Land”) to Butter Building (from "Kirby's Epic Yarn") and a feature from Save Point on Cookie Country (from “Kirby's Return to Dreamland”), just to name a few. Transparent Black Marbled Vinyl.Formed in the muds of the Lawson Delta Bayou, Port Sulphur Band walk the line between fiction and reality. Both a meta element of the video game Hunt: Showdown and an in-house band of Crytek game developers, Port Sulphur Band began as a vehicle to tellstories from the world of Hunt, a supernatural shooter set at the dawn of blues and jazz in 1895 Louisiana.Since their first album released in 2019, Port Sulphur Band have become a cult phenomenon, with over 34 million streams across three albums. Their first vinyl collection -The Devil's Fee - sold out in four hours and hit #62 on the German charts. Their second vinyl album - Shadows Calling - collects 27 original songs from their catalogue, including "Rise Up Dead Man," "It's Dark in New Orleans," and "Bullet's Lullaby." It also contains one never-before-heard track, "Tie Me to the Mast," which completes the story that began in "Marked for Death."

An anime adaptation is also in the works! The soundtrack of the hit action RPG game "Tenho no Sakuna Hime", released in 2020, is now available in analog format. The production staff carefully selected and arranged a total of 20 tracks for the analog version.

The unique and well-crafted setting in which characters are raised through rice cultivation, and the game system that allows players to experience the hardships and joys of rice cultivation while also providing a challenging combo action game. The game's main character "Sakuna" is voiced by Naomi Ozora, a voice actress with a unique and addictive voice, and the cute characters sometimes laugh, sometimes cry, and sometimes expressively tell a fun and sad story. The soundtrack of "Tenho no Sakuna Hime" (released in 2020), a game developed by Eaderuwaisu that grabbed players' hearts with a charm not found in other games, is now available in analog format! Originally a large 3-cd volume of content, composer Hiroyuki Oshima carefully selected, arranged, and reorganized the music for this work. Each side of the record is named "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter" and is designed to match the world view. The famous song "Yanato Taue Uta, Miko - Kaminagi" is also included, and is highly recommended not only for game fans, but also for those who have started watching the anime...!

The soundtrack of the hit PC game "Tsuki wa higashi ni hi waishi ni", nicknamed "Hanani", released by August in 2003, is now available on analog vinyl! The opening and ending tracks are of course included, as well as all the BGM, and the game's arrangements are also included in this gorgeous 4-lp box set.

Saint Seiya, also known as the Knights of the Zodiac, is a Japanese animated series created by Masami Kurumada in 1986. It tells the story of the Knights of Bronze who fight to protect the goddess Athena. The series was a huge success and spawned an extensive franchise, with TV series, films, video games, figurines and toys.

Since the dawn of the trombone (Early 15th century or so according to a quick Google search), trombonists all over the world have been compelled to create a wide assortment of brass-powered notes, both sweet and sour.

Developer Holy Wow made it their divine mission to document this phenomenon through the medium of interactive electronic entertainment. Trombone Champ is a celebration of the beauty and power of music — not just well-crafted, technically proficient music, but passionate, messy, and goofy melodies, too. Music is about self expression, and self expression simply isn’t always tidy and neat.

This LP is iam8bit’s humble attempt to capture that wonderfully weird energy on wax. The Trombone Champ Vinyl Soundtrack is a 1xLP packed full of sweet, sweet brass-powered tunes, selected and performed (excellently, by the way — no flubbed notes here) by the Holy Wow team themselves. We’ve pressed it on perfectly imperfect Off-Key Orange and Blaring Blue vinyl.

To bring the whole thing together, we tapped artist extraordinaire Iri Chen to craft a visual smorgasbord that tells an epic story of the power of music — no matter how unprofessionally it’s played.

This soundtrack is taking you on a journey across the mysterious island of New Wirral – from lo-fi acoustic ballads to all-out headbangers!

By the way, welcome to New Wirral, a remote island inhabited by strange creatures you’ve only dreamed of, nightmares you hopefully haven’t, and a cast of brave folks who use cassette tapes to transform for battle. To find a way home you’ll need to explore every inch of the island, and record monsters to your trusty cassette tapes to gain their abilities!

Joel Baylis shares a brief insight into his vision for the soundtrack and the outcomes: “My goal when writing the music for ‘Cassette Beasts‘ was to make something that felt somewhere between a role-playing game soundtrack and an 80’s synth rock album. Despite its influences, I feel like it ended up being rather unique. It’s quite hard to pin a genre onto these tracks and the collection itself varies greatly in vibes as well as styles.”

Baylis is also enthusiastic about the physical release of the “Cassette Beasts” soundtrack on beautiful purple and mint green coloured double vinyl: “The LP contains the best of each aspect of the game’s soundtrack, thoughtfully put together to offer something that will look great in your collection, and sound great under the needle.” And while the entire game is revolving around cassettes, Black Screen Records are sure taking care of this with a limited tape edition. You’re all backed-up for the monster hunt!

The “Cassette Beasts” soundtrack is not only a must for indie gamers but also for fans of artists like CHVRCHES and everyone who’s into the 80‘s synth sound.

He frequently gives online masterclasses and tutorials on music composition and production and has a passion for teaching the craft. He is an avid multi-instrumentalist, performing solo flute, keyboards, world instruments, and guitar on many of his scores.
