Ponytails & Cocktails is a collaboration between 5 individuals from all different backgrounds. Front man and lead singer, Chad Dukes hosts a daily sports talk radio program (Chad Dukes VS The World) for over a decade in Washington DC on CBS 106.7 The Fan. He also hosts the everlasting podcast,'' Big O and Dukes'' since 2007, boasting more than 50 Million downloads. Acoustic Guitarist, Dempsey Hamilton, is the owner of Mobius Records in Fairfax, VA. as well as a long time touring sound engineer. Spawned from their love of the Broken Lizard movie ''Club Dread'', Ponytails & Cocktails started as a tribute band to Bill Paxton's character ''Coconut Pete''. They are the Only band endorsed by Jay Chandrasekhar and Erik Stolhanske of the comedy troop ''Broken Lizard''. From there, they decided to write their own material in the same spirit. ''Big Blue Wave'' is their first original album and it debuted at #6 on the Billboard Comedy charts in 2019 and shot up to #3 on iTunes sales the first 2 weeks it was available.They made only 250 hard copies of CD and Tapes and sold them out within the first weekend. This limited edition record comes with a bonus track and skit not included on the CD or Streaming. Think Wheeler Walker Jr. on a beach in Pina Coladaberg.

Sonic Healing is the third full-length release by Martin Steer’s Bad Stream project. While the concept was started by one person in response to a singular situation, it fully came to life as a product of collective imagination. For the album, Steer sent a single guitar loop to twelve musicians from the extended network of his ANTIME label who improvised with the recording, which was later collaged by Steer into a single, 39 minute long track that stylistically ranges from feverish jazz to brooding ambient and abstract electronica. Together with the Iranian artist Arash Akbari’s vivid animations based on generative algorithms and real-time processing, »Sonic Healing« does not ask how one person can deal with turmoil in their life alone, but how we can create new forms of being together with art as a mediator.

After further research it has been discovered that, Experiment Zero is the product of Dona, aka Dj Plant Texture and Mike Tansella Jr. of Son of Traders, both products of the ancient mercantile city of Bari in Southern Italy. Previous works from these artists have been featured on Creme Organization, Gravitational Waves, Unknown to Unknown, and Illian Tapes. All sonic experimentation was recorded in one take to capture the raw energy of instantaneous collaborative sound craft operating in flux. Guests making surprise appearances are among others, Ludwig Wittgenstein,Herman Melville, and maybe even Rumpelstiltskin. The play unfolds in a highly unusual setting, weaving a tapestry of references. The music for this radio play was created by Kammerflimmer Kollektief, in their unique and uncategorizable blend of sound drawing inspiration from jazz, folk and electronic.
