Unnion takes off with its first EP featuring a compilation of four spanish artists with different styles and a unique common thread, living up to the platform's name.
The album kicks off with Tadeo's offering, titled "The Second Part", where we can immediately hear the artist's personal touch: a lot of funk, solid sounds, and attention-grabbing elements that go straight to the dance floor.
The second track comes from Unkle Fon, titled "Eltzegor." It's a soaring journey towards a climax filled with synthetic sounds and hypnotic developments that create a unique sense of motion.
Moving on to the third track, we have the contribution of Not A Headliner, titled "Cricket Circus." It features an atonal sensation accompanied by a groovy rhythm in which the interplay of sounds transcends the norm.

Erupt Records has suffered its first Unrest Hazard. After keeping the lid on a beast this explosive, what did you think was going to happen?

This new series of '4 on 1' EPs from the mighty label, will showcase several of the best producers from the UK (sometimes even beyond!) breakbeat hardcore/jungle scene on 1 record, be they old or new.

The first track from Schoco (Omni Music) is "I Need". Let yourself go to wispy, dream-state synthlines over ferocious breakz.

Track 2 is a bouncy piano anthem for anybody who likes hearing the words "1993" and "happy" in the same sentence. This one is brought to you by After The Zenith. Usually resident cover artist for Erupt, this time he grabs the steering wheel and gears up to present you a bit of his own 'ardcore.

Next up is some brutality from Tactical Aspect. Need no more be said than these lads are one of Australia's finest purveyors of hardcore junglism, with a portfolio including works for Reinforced Records. But, with a recent move back to Yorkshire, and following an initiation into the West Yorkshire Jungle Collective, it only made sense for TA to deliver some unrelenting '93 style breakbeat hardcore brutality to celebrate.

The final track "When Did We Forget" is a get together from the lads at Kool FM, Code and Subbreak, with D-Region. Any time you see these names together, it commands serious respect. This is one for anybody who likes those hazy breakbeat hardcore tracks that tread a fine line between hard and euphoric.

After causing appalling destruction and devastation with the first in the "Unrest Hazard" series, Erupt has the nerve to not apologise to you, just do it all over again. Once again, this special series showcases four or five artists on one record, each bringing a different flavour of their own to the wide world of hardcore, jungle, and drum n bass.

Wild Swan, previously known as Ugly Duckling, returns after being there all the way back when the label spread its wings in 2020. On "*int", the result is a frenzied collab with Mr Dan Master, most recently known for making noise with his "System of Systems" album as Haberdashers' Adams. Kool FM regulars Subbreak, D-Region and Code make an appearance, meanwhile, with a pounding remix of "Industry Plant".

DJ Terrace and Jon Tetly, connoisseurs of hardcore jungle with a back-catalogue of Kniteforce, 4 The Core and Codename: RCRDS releases between them, bring "Doing Battle" and "I Get Stu Pid" to the table.

Finally, Schoco appears on Erupt once again. Known for his much-loved remix of "Zero Time", his latest is the frenetic "Love Is The Answer", previously championed by Dead Man's Chest on SWU.FM, and now FINALLY getting the appearance on wax it deserves!

In March this year COD3 QR delivered a digital threesome from DJ Deep, Avision and Deetron. Now, twice as much is coming in June for the label's first vinyl-only release, with each artist bringing a second track to the platter. As usual the tracks have been selected by Laurent Garnier for the label whose ethos is: Music diversity is our strength!

Fortunate to grow up around the rich club culture of NYC and influenced by the sounds around him, Avision started young on the turntables at the age of 12, gained his first residency at 15, and hasn't looked back since. Around that time, he also began to hone his production skills and developed a distinctly New York-flavoured techno and house sound which is evident on "Hold No Groove" and "Talk Is Cheap". It's the recognisable sound he's previously brought to the likes of Cocoon, Ellum, Drumcode and Hardgroove.

Having been involved with making and playing music for over 20 years, Deetron is an artist who is assured in his ambitions and a skilled performer, maintaining a high level of quality in every aspect of his career: from mind-boggling three-deck DJ sets to his special touch on remixes or his diverse range of productions. In 2014 he launched his own imprint, Character. But has also graced the likes of Axis, Music Man, Subject Detroit, Running Back, Rekids and more. Here he brings the original techno sound of "Pulse", alongside the deeper "Corazon".

DJ Deep got the party started with "What's Going On". It's now accompanied by the hypnotic "Transition". So, it's no surprise to hear he started playing at clubs and raves in Paris in the late '80s / early '90s, including Laurent's renowned Wake Up at Rex. The respected and versatile DJ, producer, label-boss and party curator is just at home helming the decks at major venues as well as mixing radio shows for Gilles Peterson's Worldwide FM. As a producer his critically acclaimed appearances on Rekids, Kaoz Theory and Tresor, not to mention his own Deeply Rooted, have demonstrated his imaginative approach to house and techno.

Compiled by DJ Boca 45 (Scott Hendy), Vanguard brings together the seminal tracks that defined the rebellious era which saw the birth of the Bristol Sound for the first time. Featured tracks include an exclusive re-release of Any Love - the first ever track by Massive Attack released on Massive Attack Records in 1988, Smith & Mighty’s breakout hit Walk On, Purple Penguin’s downtempo classic Memphis and other trip hop classics. The LP celebrates the globally recognised Bristol Sound whose experimental breakbeat rhythms and influence still dominate the scene today. Along with classic tracks from the ‘90’s into the ‘00’s and beyond, the album uncovers lesser known cuts by some of Bristol’s pioneering musicians such as One Cut and West Country hip hop’s finest Aspects. The explosion of the Bristol Sound coincided with the boom in UK street art which led to fruitful collaborations between artists and musicians. Finding inspiration in each other’s work, street artists frequently designed rave posters, logos and cover art while DJs provided the beats to accompany street artists’ clandestine painting. Vanguard The Album pays homage to these relationships with a beautifully put together gatefold LP featuring iconic cover art designed by some of the biggest names in street art such as Inkie, Dicy, Will Barras and Nick Walker. These early works capture the boisterous energy of the era and confirm Bristol’s status as an extraordinary cultural melting pot. Five tracks from the debut compilation "Variable" - released in 2018 - are getting remixed by some of the label's favorite acts.

Unhuman's “Imminent Fear" gets an alternative Version by the legendary, Spanish band of Esplendor Geometrico. Damcase's "inkl Rules" is remixed by American producer Container. The untitled track of the Variable compilation, by the artist project "I am Legion, for We are many", gets reinterpreted by the Canadia duo of Rich Oddie (Orphx) and Huren as "o/h".

On the flip side, the track "gbnr17" of the label's "3.14" gets its fix by Spanish, industrial techno maestro, Geistform and Das' "Spinner" receives a special remix treatment by Athens' infamous Anfs.

Noise break-beats of different tastes on the A side, with stomping industrial beats for the club and sub-club environment on the B side.
