Luke's Anger is someone we've wanted to release for a long time. Emerging as artist of note for both now and the future, Chlar continues to craft and shape his sound as he curates his own high-octane approach to techno. Combining dynamic performances taking in three and four deck mixes with his own up front productions and his talents as a former mastering engineer, the Swiss talent has become a respected name amongst his peers. After releases on Lobster Theremin and his own Bipolar Disorder imprint, the Berlin-based DJ, producer and label boss heads to SHDW & Obscure Shape's blooming label Mutual Rytm to deliver six precise and powerful cuts across his 'Optimized Groove' EP.

Opener 'Early Morning Acceleration' sets the tone early and dives into a looping ride through slinking hats and bustling arrangements - combining classic influences with forward thinking touches to reveal a dynamic slice of techno. Next, 'Maximum Performance' fuses swelling low-ends, sharp percussion and vibrant leads, while 'Love Blaster' delivers an all out fiesta armed with rolling drums, sharp whistles and rich chords. Phil Moon was already musically active in the past under the name of DJ Valium, releasing with the German label International Deejay Gigolo Records and he was one of the first Belgian artists to release music out of Detroit, with Teknotika Records. Originally recorded between 1991 and 1994, Alpha Wave TV contains a series of abstract arrangements blended into a provocative techno-percussive rhythm, traveling virtuoso toward industrial-wave scenarios the artist explores timbers from the far-out meanders. The Zenith was originally released in 1995 on UFO Records London, it is now represented as an adventurous analog techno-house hybrid journey. The B side summons classic and multi-processed experimental techno surrounded by ancient scenarios, and glimpses of lush Detroit 12Bit flavors. To conclude this journey Peace Of 6 which was apparently inspired by Aphex Twin was recorded 25 years ago yet rides on never-ending notes of eternal nostalgia within a melodic thoughtful spirit.

A massive 15-track retrospective, Uncut Flowers consists of the tracks from the Our Opaque Wreath cassette (Moontown Records, 2019), The Optimist (Essential Minerals, 2019), the Garland And Gauze 7" (Altered States Tapes, 2020) as well as various compilation contributions. 74 minutes.

"In evidence throughout is Troth’s penchant for capturing and collecting sounds from their environments, transforming field recordings, organic and non-organic sonic sources into textures of a palette that they then compose and improvise with. There’s a virtuosity of sampling and sound manipulation. The recurrent sounds from Besseny and Bowman’s intrepid field and bush explorations often verge on an indistinguishability between the synthesised and the concrete-organic. Permutated hand percussion or the throbbing of a waterfall; xylophonic melody or the tape loop of a bird call. The clank and tings of unidentified objects, matter itself writhing in the veggie garden. An environment starts speaking from iron gates in a paddock anywhere, close to the damp leaf and loam of a forest floor far below unseen birds and their cacophony of song and chatter. It's always a huge pleasure to have him back. Lewis Fautzi's astronomic ascension is well known and we are delighted that he decided to 'play home' one more time.

Although the years are passing by, Lewis is faithful to his principles. His personal style is almost a trademark and impossible not to recognize. Techno scene has evolved and he has evolved with it but always in a straight line, adapting himself perfectly to the new tendencies and keeping his touch and his vision.

This new ep is full of trippy pads and powerful bass lines. Mesmerizeng techno as its finest and with a small cherry on top of the cake: a remix by Rodhad. His first time with us and there is no greater feeling, specially knowing the huge artist he is. Established nowadays as a techno force, the german producer combines the hypnotic with different theatrical approaches and came a long way demonstranting the uncontainable nature of his brand of shadowy dance creations, as someone once described his work. We couldn't be happier with the result.

In summary, the first ep by Lewis Fautzi on his own imprint with a remix by Rodhad.

2023 repress. Kicking off a new concept for Palinoia, I'm presenting a previously unreleased Donato Dozzy track that I first heard in his infamous "ddkh" mix from many moons ago. I regularly harassed Dozzy about this in hopes he had plans for it, but after almost a decade of being questioned he told me to just put it out myself, provided I was doing a track for the B-side.

Knowing full well I couldn't make anything nearly as gorgeous as Donato's underwater techno groover here, I decided to go for something a bit more upbeat and party friendly, all the while as wiggly as the masters' contribution.

Based in the industrial harbour of Rotterdam, the fresh started 'Self Reflektion' techno imprint presents its first release. The person responsible for starting the label is stranger, who also goes by the not-so-mysterious name of Mitchel Polderman in daily life. His debut release 'Warehouse Memoires' reflects his passion and interest for the 90's warehouse rave sound in various ways, all produced while living in a Warehouse down the docks of Rotterdam.

Featured on the release are the original mix, a recording which can be marked as a 2014 warehouse techno track. The 'UK Rave mix' probably speaks for itself, breakbeat influenced techno, 90's UK warehouse material. The US Revival mix takes you from Chicago to New York in 4 minutes, and closing off the release is the Bergweg mix - an additional DJ Tool for the hoover freaks.

Sought after remixes of one of the North West’s favourite old skool anthems Sarasota ‘We’re Gettin’ Hot’. This limited edition Color Vinyl EP split across two parts includes Sarasota’s 25th anniversary mix and edit on the uplifting house tip, the original 1996 mix that doubles down on the old skool style piano vibe, plus the Da Fool 1999 remix which uses the same bell sound, although a different melody, as ‘Meet Him At The Blue Oyster Bar’ to maximum effect. B.I.T. Productions was set up in 1995, kicking off with a bang by releasing the white label monster, The Crowdpleasers ‘I Want You To Know’ which sampled Quench ‘Dreams’. Over the next 5 years, the label produced tracks of varying styles: Da Fool ‘Meet Him At The Blue Oyster Bar’ (licenced to Ffrr), quintessential ‘A Day To Remember’, 2 Smashing Blokes ‘M.F.’ etc, receiving DJ support from the likes of Pete Tong, Graham Gold, Stu Allan, Rob Tissera, Colin Tevendale, James Bradley, Steve Lawler, Lisa Pin-Up, Andy Farley, Lisa Lashes etc. After a 20-year hiatus, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the B.I.T. Productions first release in 1995, mid 2020 saw the production team get back in the studio and create five new mixes to go along with three previous mixes for one of the North West’s favourite old skool tracks, Sarasota ‘We’re Gettin’ Hot’.

Elements. is back with its third release signed by Crihan. 'Recurring Figures' finds Alin right in his element, showcasing three purely minimal tracks rich in detail and deeply engrossing textures reminiscent of the golden ages of (organic) minimal circa 2010. Skins is a producer/DJ based in Leeds with an active history in dance music that goes back over 10 years. He cut his teeth DJing regularly at the legendary former Oxford nightclub The Cellar. He played here as part of the Subverse Radio collective as well as for other favourite local promoters, alongside a regular radio show on the aforementioned station which he co-founded. After moving to Leeds in 2016, Skins focused his attention on music production and self-released a string of white-label techno EPs which garnered support from artists such as Djrum, Jane Fitz and Mike Schommer of Deepchord. More recently Skins has moved away from the dub techno sound with which he had become associated, with an EP from speed garage newcomers Spin City on heavy rotation with DJs including Evan Baggs, Andrew James Gustav and Sugar Free. His latest explorations have found him returning to the futuristic jungle stylings which originally drew him into the world of electronic music in his teens. Whether it’s in the studio or behind the decks, Skins draws on a wide range of influences from hip hop, deep house and techno through dubstep and grime to jungle, with a preference for playing vinyl over three turntables. He has performed alongside the likes of Willow, Batu, Answer Code Request, Levon Vincent and Ben UFO.
