Luxury 1 ebbs in majestically as beautifully crafted layers of synths glide across field recorded drops of water that instantly play with your senses. Pumping sub bass fills the rest of the spectrum as Rod does what he does best by creating an unending slick groove, pieced together by crisp percussion.

Yet more atmospherics come into play in Luxury 2 as otherworldly field recordings are brought to life through the use of Rod's unique processing and layers of dream state synths. A perfectly worked groove seems to come out of nowhere and glides gently under the atmosphere; again subtle percussion ties everything together seamlessly.

The master of Deep Techno strikes again with nothing short of 2 elegant works that typify his skills as a producer.

From Francesco: "After first performing together at Sonar Festival with what was essentially a live version of our respective "B.O.A.T.S." and "Adamant" albums, Thomas and I decided to expand on these ideas for something more broad and improvisation-centric. After months in the studio drinking nothing but amaretto and working on new music for this purpose, our new live experiment (now simply called CW/A) was ready. The reception on these shows was so (thankfully) positive that Vakant eventually pressured us into releasing some sections as tracks. "Conducting the Method" is nothing other than a sample of what this new project is about: a collection of three excerpts taken from this year's performances. To round things off, we invited over our friends Dead Heat for a reinterpretation of one of our tracks. We can state with confidence that we are excited these tracks are no longer confined to our club and festival performances and can't wait for everyone to hear them. Hopefully you will enjoy them as much as we enjoy playing them out. "

Inspired by a short story of the same name by author Chris Leo, Infinidelity offers ten songs from historics late 2009 album debut, Strategies For Apprehension, transformed by an assembly of artists from the outer ether of the electronic music world. Infinidelity Pt. 3 closes out the 12" series with two monstrous remixes. UK remix maven and recent Strut Records mix maker Leo Zero turns "Skin Orders" into a sprawling, eight minute mix of rapid fire drum patterns akin to "Bombs Over Baghdad" and odyssey-like, Garcia inspired guitar work by Crow of Mountain of One. Canadian producer Andrew Allsgood's take on "Two Tons" stomps away with a heavy kick, conga-laden percussion, and fuzzed out bass line, eventually oscillating into a cosmic cataclysm and refrain. This remix fits in nicely with Allsgood's classic 12" for History Clock and features additional production by Worst Friends. Complete the Infinidelity series with this final chapter. Infinidelity was mastered by Graeme Durham at The Exchange. Each 12" comes in an extremely limited edition of 300 copies, absolutely stunning artwork by Mark McCoy.

Inspired by a short story of the same name by author Chris Leo (Feathers Like Leather, 57 Octaves Below..., White Pigeons), Infinidelity offers ten songs from historics late 2009 album debut, Strategies For Apprehension, transformed by an assembly of artists from the outer ether of the electronic music world. The Infinidelity story is one of meditation within / without a relationship, wrapped in a transient prose that skirts comedic and tragic traditions. Strategies For Apprehension deals in related subjects, those of bonds forged and broken, of ever-shifting alliances. In keeping with those themes, the conception and recording of the record were devoutly unfaithful to any rote route of standard-fare album construction. From those sessions were born enough boundless ideas to place in the hands of others, who in turn have created their own commentaries on and reinterpretations of the music. The Infinidelity Pt. 1 12" flickers to life with a re-work of "Fan Fare" by Tom Croose, a track that swells with a massive drum loop, buzzy bass blasts, and an ominous synth line only to break itself down and accentuate a stark female vocal sample. The glimmering sensibility of Croose's track patters over into the buildup of Sir Billy and Creso's Saturday Crimson Mix of "Kinda Personal", another warm track with its roots grown thick in a heavy kick, and its wings beating to the crisp high hat on the up beat. Low Motion Disco's take on "Languages", a meditative number, recalls the even unfolding of an early morning, the calm of the evening, and the moment before you head into the night for the acid thump of Pink Stallone's remix of "City to City" and repeat the shimmering cycle. The artwork, also informed by Leo's story, was created by artist Mark McCoy. The intricate collages convey sanctity within immolation, sacrifice to nature's thorny embrace. Six artists remix the rich sound material from Sven Ka- cirek's LP “Scarlet Pitch Dreams” (Pingipung 32, April 2012). Sven's original percussion recordings and his densely layered melodies invite for a rework which fo- cuses on the single elements. Robert Lippok (To Rococo Rot, Raster Noton) turns the title track into a balearic sunshine dance until the voice and synthlines evoke a deep and driving witchhouse at- mosphere. Absolutely awesome remix! Opiate aka Thomas Knak from Denmark (Morr Music) is one of Pingipung's favourite artists in the world and we're very happy to have his remix included here. His highly individual syncopating beat works dive into the pool of Sven's percussions, with the snare and marimba always in the foreground. Stefan Schneider (Mapstation, To Rococo Rot) delivers a delicious dub version of “About Me And You”. In fact, Stefan Schneider and Sven Kacirek are in the beginnings of their musical collaboration, releasing one album on Honest Jon's later in the year and playing gigs together. RSS Disco & Sugarwater (Mireia Rec) transform snip- pets of the voice and marimba patterns of the title track into a disco track. RSS Disco have been responsible as DJs for some of the most outstanding parties in Pin- gipung's hometown Hamburg lately. We're very happy to include these talented producers in this release. F.S. Blumm (Morr Music) adds nothing but his charac- teristic guitar to the “Scarlet Pitch dreams” vocals of Jana Plewa. No question it's a perfect match: the two make the duo “Old Splendifolia” and have released one beautiful album on the Plop Imprint. Peter Presto finally remixes “About Me And You” in the best of his humours. The guy who made the first Pin- gipung record ten years ago (yes, it's our anniversary!) always has one other melody to add. Happy go lucky style, we like!

For the first 7" record released by Medical Records, we are proud to reissue the long lost and out of print 7" by Disco Volante. Disco Volante was essentially Terry Clarke (aka Terry Tanx) formed in London in 1982. Inspired by the early Bond films and their soundtracks (Disco Volante was a yacht in Thunderball), Tanx played live in a number or small clubs between 1982-1986. Using a small number of Roland instruments (TB 303, TR 606, MC-202, and SH-09), Disco Volante self released a cassette entitled "Traction in Rehash" now which is sadly lost. In 1984, the 7" single "No Motion" with the same title as A side and "Click" and "Punishment Tank (Live)" as the B side on Catalyst Box Records. Terry recollects that the recording only took 2 days, and the engineer had no experience with this style of music. The end result has a very DIY aesthetic despite the use of a professional studio. Unfortunately, the single was not commercially popular and received no publicity due to music press strike at the time. The single began to gain cult underground popularity in the 90s and 00s with the resurgence of new wave which resulted in a spike in prices for the long lost single. The track "No Motion" is a very catchy layered synthpop hit that is quite unique yet capturing the essence of the early 80s new wave sound very nicely. "Click" on the b-side is a march-like track with propulsive synthetic bass textures and monotonous analog drum beats. The final track "Punishment Tank Live!" is a track recorded live at the Red Box, London with a punk feel with intense delayed vocals, guitar and overlayed synth hooks. Beyond out of print and sure to appeal to lovers of the DIY coldwave and synth 7" revival and resurrection. Presented on high-quality thick transparent green 7" vinyl in a limited edition of 500 hand-numbered copies.

Marking the start of an exciting new collaborative project, Wolf + Lamb proudly share the debut release of The Waves & Us. Formed out of a creative meeting of minds between Maayan Nidam, Markus Nikolaus and Louis McGuire, theirs is a sound that strengthens the storied approach of a live band with the experimental thrust of analogue electronics. Pop and rock fundamentals lend an earthly hook to the tracks, but these are anything but straight-forward songs. Maayan has already forged a formidable career in electronic music, both under her own name and as part of Mara Trax, scoring releases on such celebrated labels as Perlon. Markus performs his own solo project Cunt Cunt Chanel, while Louis is part of Ballet School, a band releasing on noted indie label Bella Union. The whirlwind of creativity that has whipped up around the trio has yielded an album which will follow this single, made up of one-take recordings that capture the energy and adventure that powers The Waves & Us. Maayan's electronics provide the atmospheric backdrop to the songs, running modular synthesisers and drum machines through detailed chains of processing and effects with an emphasis on a warm, charmingly rough finish. Markus' guitar undergoes a similar fuzzy treatment while his voice calls out introspective, abstract lyrics to set the mind racing. Louis' bass underpins the music with a dubby sensibility, bringing a necessary balance to the frequency range. Making the most of their in-the-room recording approach, the singles will feature alternative takes of the songs that will appear on the album, providing a little insight into the flutters and fluctuations that shape the development of this project. With their eyes fixed on live performances and an arresting sound already formed, this is a vital time for all three artists and the people that listen to them.

SKYLAX 136 arrives in the form of a killer EP from none other than Lady Blacktronika. Most will know her from her own imprint, Sound Black Recordings, where she has served up some of the best deep house and slo-mo beatdown to come from the US since the label’s inception in 2010. Such a stellar output has led many to refer to her as the ‘First Lady’ of both the genres she frequents, and with this new offering of pure-grade deep house, she shows no sign of letting go of that title. Right Direction’ begins with a stuttering piano stab pattern that could mislead people into thinking they are in for a seven minute long throwback to yesteryear. However, before the thought begins to linger, Lady Blacktronika introduces her signature stamp of deepness and soul with chilling pad sounds and vocal slices. The mood is carried forward into ‘Deee With It (How Do You Say)’, where layers upon layers of percussion give it that extra bite to ride above a bassline that you will be dying to hear on a club system, all whilst sacrificing none of the inherent deep nature of the track. Flipping over to the B side, ‘Cheat & Lie’ is one of those tracks which can suit any time of the day (or night). The moody vibe it evokes is a product of each element working together harmoniously in the mix; the wide kick drum, swirling chords and soulful vocal cuts show that Lady B knows her way around the studio. The EP closes with ‘Fantasize Me’, another solid piece which rounds off the release perfectly. Here, Lady B proves that less is more by keeping out any ancillary elements so that the main features of the track can flourish on their own.
