Dennis Busch is an artist who is well-known to all Pin- gipung fans for his “James Din A4” contributions to our catalogue. This man of many faces has also developed a reputation as visual artist. Therefore he decides to present his music under the same name: Dennis Busch - which we think might be his real one. Dennis Busch has delivered an enormous output of odd, melodic techno tracks in the last decade – mostly on his own now unfortunately vanished “Esel” imprint (this means “donkey”). We have featured this sound in a dedicated compilation of his archive in 2008, called “Fistel Rose Power”. “Music for dance floors which haven't been invented yet”, someone wrote. Today he presents a fresh sound, each track bouncing and swaying in a different shade of good humor. We think it's his best album yet, in terms both of composi- tion and sound. Deep chords from Detroit meet skweee- ish melodies, a brassy bass says “wob”, and hip-hop hi-hats hold those guitars and vinyl samples to - gether. The entire album has been mixed down in real-time sessions on his MPC - this famous sampler is actually the only device with which Dennis Busch produces his tracks. Maybe it is the technological simplicity and his ease to ignore the temptations of endless digital sonic possibilities which shape the peculiar charms of this whole album. If deep-house were a discipline at the Paralympics, “New Yor” or “Happy Stranger” would defin- itely qualify. The title track “Total Youth” sounds like brewing the world's finest mocha coffee for Jan Jelinek (footnote: Jan Jelinek and Dennis Busch are musical mates, and Jan even considers to create a collage album from Dennis' sounds on his own “faitiche” label in the near future - what a good idea!). “Love Is Evol” is an old man crooning his wisdom quietly in our ears. The raise-your- fist-up-high-contest goes to the last track's cowbell, “Keiner Vice mehr”. The artwork has entirely been created by Dennis Busch. Mexican Singer/Songwriter Graciela Maria has been singing since she was a little kid. Having livied in Mexico City for many years, she was part of the mexican electronic music scene and made music with local producers signal deluxe.

In 2009 she met berlin based producer Robot Koch in New York at his show at Coco66 in Brooklyn.
They started making music together and Grace was featured on Robot's album “Death Star Droid” as well as on the Ep “Listen To Them Fade”. 2009 marked the beginning of a journey both musically and geographically for Graciela, as she moved from Mexico City to Berlin and started playing shows wolrdwide with Robot Koch.
They played everywhere from the Sonar Festival in Barcelona to some obscure art festivals in Bulgaria and Tunesia.

With Many Places, Graciela Maria's stunning debut album, she steps into the light as more than just a featured vocalist on Koch's electronica and dubstep driven compositions: Her own music breathes the vibe of classic singer/songwriters like Tim Buckley and Elliot Smith, with the music and the production being even more organic and live sounding than on the previous Koch tracks. The songwriting took place all over the world, as Graciela traveled and lived in many places recently, accompanied by her little notebook and her digital camera, which she uses to record song ideas on all the time. The topics she deals with are both surreal and personal and leave it up to the listener to be interpretated.

Producer Robot Koch teamed up with friend and fellow musician Sneaky (Fingathing / Ninja Tune) to create this organic and retro futuristic sounding album, that incorporates Double Bass, Live Drums, Cello and other String instruments and well as a subtle touch of cutting edge electronic production which Robot Koch is know for. The track "Many Places" features a string arrangement by Fiora Cutler.

Graciela Maria is an artist to watch out for in the future as she proves to create timeless pieces of music that are appealing to Indie/pop listeners and lover's of electronic music alike.

Frank Chickens could have been possibly forerunners for several famous alternative band, Cibo Matto on top of all, but sure had a development on their own. Our history began in London, early eighties, art duo Frank Chickens is the original creation of Japanese performers Kazuko Hohki and Kazumi Taguchi. All of a sudden the band debuts with a pair of singles and a full length on Kaz Records, it’s 1984, but could have been easily 1994, or even 2004. Backed by the likes of Steve Beresford (Alterations, The Slits, General Strike, London Improvisers Orchestra), Annie Whitehead (Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Robert Wyatt), Lol Coxhill, Tony Coe and Clive Bell (the top of the cream of the English avantgarde) the band soon became a case in history. Now we have the pleasure – 37 years after its original release – to reissue their second album: Get Chickenized! The record came out in 1987 on the british label Flying Lecords and showed a different side of the project, with a major focus on the so-called synth wave counterculture, still maintaining a certain avant feel. With original conspirator Steve Beresford still on board, the band was propelled in the studio by another key figure of the London underground: journalist, composer and producer David Toop. Being John Peel’s favorite for a while, the band built a cult following retaining some absurd live performances, well known for their idiosyncratic choreography. Later revamped in the year 2000 - thanks to cult label Ninja Tune – the band enjoyed a second wave of success, with a remix album featuring the likes of Pizzicato 5, Fink and Neotropic. With a cover embellished by the labor of Pere Ubu David Thomas, this second influential album is finally available for your listening pleasure. Here’s your chance to dive deep into this exotic pop extravaganza.

“Biomantics” immerses listeners in a dark sci-fi realm where scientific advancements manipulate memory and energy, introducing a biotechnological entity that defies natural boundaries. The track explores the fusion of biology and technology in a dystopian world.
