Now he reaps what he has sown on his »Mantili« EP for Kame House Records. Here different strains from Kraut over Trance to traditional music are successfully being crossed and his delicate songwriting and relaxed composition come to fruition. Based on a traditional Greek song the title track »Mantili« evokes the power of the handkerchief and its symbolism, reminiscent of farewell scenarios, of mourning, of Othello and strawberries; but also of tears of joy and comfort. Elegant sampling and crafty loops merge with tribalistic drum settings, vocal speckles and shimmering sound design. It is a truth often forgotten that the surface of the moon is more explored than the depths of the oceans. »To The Stars« builds an interstellar submarine and takes us on a great voyage of discovery seemingly inspired by Jules Vernes and HG Wells. Mild »extraterrestrial« flora and the tremendous achievements of humankind. Carefully crafted Electronic Listening Music (elm), which will also lead to psychedelic self-dissolution on – mind you: inhabitable – dance floors. Lastly, »Let’s Talk« is an almost nine minute journey into the human psyche. Balanced downbeat, elegant and fluid, but also trip-hoppy in the best sense of the word. Key Clef launches her own imprint Ipnotica Erotica with 'Mental Groove' EP. Key Clef is a Berlin based, italian dj and producer with strong passion for analogue instruments.
After experiencing the last years of the flourishing rave scene in Rome and accomplishing a degree in sound engineering her creative process evolved into different directions from club music, to performance art and electro acoustics.
In 2013 she released her first digital EP followed by releases on Love Blast, KKY, MinimalRome, BlackWater, DelirioRec e Mitten.
In her own world music is a continuous dialogue between styles and hybridation. Her music productions as well her live performances include synth, drum machines and analogue effects reflecting her ethereal trajectory while her dj sets show the full prism of her music taste and knowledge of the dance floor.
Key Clef sound doesn’t hit on surface instead aims to channel emotions and contact between her music and the listener. After maturing her sound over the years she is finally ready to launch her own imprint Ipnotica Erotica rec where she will soon release a new EP.

Wang inc. developed this 12” focusing on the stories of the past years taking place in the
central Mediterranean Sea. Stories of hope and despair, often tragic by the will of
powerful and egoistic people.

Each track describes a fase of the crossing of the Sicilian channel: Fuga is the escape from the Libyan prisons, Gommone is the crossing on an inﬂatable raft that often ﬁnds a tragic epilogue, Approdo is the battle between humanitarian aids and governments to ﬁnd a place of safe, Abbraccio is the tragic history of mother and son found at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea still hugging each other.
It’s harsh techno, slow, with vivid images, lot’s of tension and bleak atmospheres. All titles are in Italian because this story is part of the history of Italy.

Yazzus follows up her appearance on the Tresor 30 compilation with a new EP named Black Metropolis. Within its, at times, rough-hewn textures lies a core that explores joy and energy within the roots of black techno. In her words: “I want this release to be black and beautiful, to be queer, and playful, a nostalgic nod to the 90s but also reimagining it in the current times.” The Ghana-born, London-bred, now Berlin-based producer’s research into afro-futurism, envisaging a path forward for science, technology and culture through the black experience, has impressed a deep vision on this EP. Yazzus sets like a cartographer, using her tracks to explore a technologically advanced world, each representing dierent regions and environments. Human Error Processor introduces an ear-worming percussion pattern nearly swamped by distorted bass drums and a vocal sample screwed just beyond recognition. Perforated leads with a 150bpm four to the floor stomp, infectious and supercharged. Gluey synth motions soak in an otherworldliness, where industrious, mechanical rhythms map out futurist structures in all directions. Metro City Bay Area exhibits a ghettotech soul, lean and bouncy - this part of the galaxy is an infinite source of fun, with the heart of groove at it’s core. Three Deities brings adventurers of its region towards higher powers, its ravey synths and an engulfing bass provoke a complete NRG release, ascending into a spiritual trance where dense melodies bubble and fizz. Digital-only track United By Fate meddles busy vocal samples with searching melodies, a fitting end to the kaleidoscopic that is Black Metropolis.

The undisputed, inimitable techno pioneer of Finland, Kim Rapatti, returns with an EP of his trademark dark, soulful and raw sound. Iäti marks his solo debut for Cold Blow and we couldn't be prouder to present this new music from the legend.

Iäti is what techno can be when breathing humanity and soul into every inch of it. The EP has lineages to Mono Junk's 2019 album Vanished, moving between deep swirling stompers, emotional compositions and raw, uninhibited electro.

Alongside his own DUM Records established in 92, Kim has over the years released music on labels such as Heckmann's Trope, Skudge White, Forbidden Planet, Rat Life, Plug Research and Stilleben. His breakthrough in the early 90s was ushered in by tracks Monotone Fantastique and Channel B. The latter became a techno classic spotted in mixes and compilations by Richie Hawtin, Marcell Dettmann and others.

Released in conjunction with the reissue of the Raintears EP, Quindi is proud to present further archival finds from Italian experimental project Cabaret du Ciel. Like a Fool / Inside Loneliness is a single shining a light on the brief collaboration between Andrea Desidera, Gian Luigi Morosin and singer Barbara Volpato. After years working as an instrumental outfit, the sessions with Volpato from 1991 were the first time Desidera and Morosin’s project had welcomed in a vocalist. Of the many tracks written and recorded at that time, the best two were selected and carefully restored from the original tapes, now immortalised on vinyl and expanding the public impression of Cabaret du Ciel. ‘Like A Fool’ re-imagines the hazy serenity of Cabaret du Ciel in a dream pop context, injecting the soft-focus synth work with the energy of bold drums to provide a suitable framework for Volpato’s voice. As usual the five tracks on the EP «A Million Pieces» are hard to pinpoint and are highly personal pieces of work. On «A Million Pieces» Slow Glass takes us on a journey from dark ambient spaces to carefree dancefloors. «A Million Pieces» starts out in a state of tension but over the course of the EP, Slow Glass takes the listener to a place of relief. The productions are mainly based on heavily manipulated fieldrecordings and everyday sounds. Slow Glass creates dense soundscapes which build the frame for light-hearted harmonies as well as playful percussion and gloomy synth lines. Despite whatever happened out in the real world, Rip Swirls music was a good & constant companion in the last couple of month. While addressing the environmental issue of the human impact on natural ecosystems, Microplastic Ep seems to embark upon a journey of deconstruction of Techno, IDM and Bass Music towards futuristic paradigms. Ekman is no stranger to Shipwrec. With three EPs and an album, the dutchman's brand of fire and brimstone has seared a serious impression on the Nijmegen imprint. The fourth 12" comes with a marked difference. That burning smouldering intensity that has characterised the acid soaked electro and stained techno of past records is present, however it is now sheathed. Beats are still sharp edged, as in "Verdraaide Logica", yet keys have softened and taken on an introspection. "Kronkel" is cast in a similar mould. From a fearsome kick blooms an incredibly layered and thoughtful track where melodies bob and weave while rhythms rail. Even amidst the sinister sidling synthlines of "Anker Punten", with its piercing and punishing percussion, there are understated pads to mellow. The glass and steel of "Vast/Los" ends the EP. Angular lines permeate the piece, reflection and refractions arc and bend in this science fiction finale. Depth mixed devilment from start to finish.

Danish electro duo Krypton 81 delivers their debut EP on legendary Finnish X0X Records. AlphaZero EP introduces five tracks + a remix by Morphology. Musically you can describe these tracks as minimalistic, scientific & funky electro with great vocals/vocoders. There is also strong reference points to Dopplereffekt, Drexciya, Arpanet and others like, but still Krypton 81 manages to bring up something fresh instead of boring pastiches. Finnish duo Morphology is on a remix duty with track "A.I. Corporation". Their treatment of the original track turns it into bass heavy electro, or one might even describe it as breakbeat if you like.
