Infernal Sounds strip things down and go back to basics with their next endeavor, returning to their roots by releasing a two track single by debutants, Frenchless. Not only is it their first venture on the label, but this is their first ever release under this moniker from the mysterious deadly duo.

Established in 2015 with a vision to push the envelope on bass-driven music at 140bpm, Belgian label Duploc have been doing just that ever since. Now, after a refreshing rebrand and enticing new label plans in store, they welcome Distance into the fold with his darkly raw and starkly haunting Sacrifices EP.

The next Fkof Records release sees us welcome four artists back into the Fkof fold with our first VIP record in the imprint’s history. It’s great seeing artists remix other artists’ work and putting a new spin on it, but there’s something special about producers revisiting their own work to put an extra spicy flip on solo material. So that’s what we’ve done with Fkofv006.

It’s been a pretty eventful year for Fkof Records, but we’re delighted to be ending it with a bang and by welcoming two brand artists to the imprint. We’ve been long-time fans of Oddkut and Abstrakt Sonance and when we discovered they’d been on the buttons together we knew it was material we wanted to home.

We’ve had a quieter start to 2021 than previous years, but that doesn’t mean we’ve not been busy. In fact, our next physical release marks the first in a run of 9 or more we’ve got booked and ready for the rest of the year... To kick off the first Fkofv release of 2021, we welcome an artist back to the roster we first worked with as Fkof Records in 2013. It’s been great watching Subreachers develop his sound and material over the last ~10yrs, and it’s wicked to have him on a record – with some incredible tunes as well! Fkofv005 also welcomes Congi to the label for the first time, with a sumptuous remix that we know you’ll love as much as we do.

On the back of their debut release, Subtle Recordings is at it once again bringing some heavy weight from the shores of New Zealand with bad man Ebb taking the reins. As always, exquisitely imprinted ‘no holds barred’ by the masterful Optimal Media in a full art sleeve, 180 grams, vinyl only, no-repress recording. Standing strong as another pillar of foundation to the future sound of bass music.

As an undisputed heavyweight and one of the leading figures within the electronic music scene, Icicle's recognized as a highly respected producer - among other ventures through steaming releases via Hospital Records, Critical Music and Shogun Audio. Propelling his technically advanced production style into the 140 BPM spectrum, it's a sight to behold as DJ Youngsta reveals the next ace up his sleeve. The UK-based veteran conveys his awe-inspiring take on Dubstep with four tracks on a twelve-inch platter - vehemently battle-tested as a dubplate and ready to off at a dance floor near you.

This limited 7inch introduces Andreikelos with a catchy downtempo tune on which mediterranean flavour meets electronic sounds as the traditional Greek organ bouzouki smoothly flows over an abstract hip-hop beat. This 4 track EP on Equinox Records brings in some new flavour to the amazing "Android Porn" by Kraddy (founding member of The Glitch Mob). Along the classic original version (first time to be released on vinyl!!), Mochipet, Fulgeance and Playpad Circus provide striking new versions that will blow minds on dancefloors across the globe. For their next venture, Infernal Sounds welcome debut signing Nova to the fold as he plates up some of his best cuts for the 'Bonafide' EP.

Trusik travels eastward again to meet Back to Chill mainstay HELKTRAM whose technoid dubstep constructions have been operating under the radar with just two releases from Banana Stand Sound and Encrypted Audio back in 2016. That is until now.

Following on from the success of HOTPLATES001, featuring Germany’s OTZ, comes the boutique Portsmouth-based label’s second release – from noted Bristol producer Theo Bennett, aka Sepia.

Numa Recordings is back again with a heavyweight release for all the grime heads out there: Badman Ting is a proper roadman anthem featuring Killa P, Irah, Long Range (aka Killa’s Army) and XL Mad (member of Numa Crew). The original version sees the four MCs riding a heavy drill riddim with an unparalleled mix of dancehall and grime vocal styles. The riddim, produced by XL Mad himself, is minimal and impactful, combining spooky melodies with distorted 808 bass. All these elements make the whole thing.. a ‘Badman Ting!’

We are super stoked to welcome back 3WA aka The Portuguese Serial Killer aka The Christiano Ronaldo of Dubstep for another fire release on Foundation Audio (this time around getting the vinyl treatment)! Pedro has got many tricks up his sleeves. Here are 4 of his finest. Make no mistake he will nutmeg you, dribble around you, Ronaldo chop past you and handball the finest goal without the ref seeing (and he’ll make it look easyyyy)… What’s more to say? We welcome Leo Cap for our 16th Navy Cut with a generous helping of punch, weight and energy. Hailing from Russia.. Leo Cap is the alter ego of Drum and Bass badman Black Barrel. This 4 track EP packs his signature energy and sound design while exploring the 140 universe.

To many AxH represents one of the few out there who has held underground strong through the many peaks and valleys of Dubstep, and as such pushed the sound forward all the while. Through Releases on Artikal, Boka, Tempa, and many more AxH has year over year maintained his position as the stateside stalwart. LoDubs is pleased to bring forth three new tunes emblematic of the AxH DNA: Fearsome, at times Frenetic, yet always forward thinking.

Calgary, AB's Boneless is back again following a pair of releases on Gourmet Beats and most recently Off-Switch Audio, featuring that low slung, classic era yet forward thinking production we all know from the great many appearances his tunes have made out live on dub and on mixes from the sort-of aformentioned Joe Nice, J;Kenzo and a boatload of others.

We don't skip cat numbers around here. It was predestined that ENiGMA Dubz would appear on the Duploc050 milestone release. The Birmingham based dubstep don has been working with us since literally the first day of the YouTube channel. Almost 10 years later ENiGMA Dubz is a well established artist and is regularly featured on his home labels Duploc, Deep Dark & Dangerous as well as his very own imprint Morii Records. Where "40 Fathoms" and "Silverback" are sound system shellers, "Earth Giants" runs on a heavier vibe while the digital bonus track "Too Close To The Sun" is a melodious masterpiece. All by all his Duploc050 shows how strongly versatile ENiGMA Dubz' sound is.

A long time coming, we’re excited to welcome Portuguese beat-maker 3WA to the Subaltern family with a selection of some of his best work to date.

A statement that is well suitable for the next release on Hamburg’s most underground vinyl imprint Intrauterin Recordings which already has been on the scene since 1999. Led by a vocal sample of the labels mastermind baze.djunkiii this limited to 120 copies 7″ whitelabel single does not only provide a unique and creative take on bass music - especially Grime, Dubstep and Breaks as well as some echoes of early Jungle / Breakbeats - but also proves how long term relationships in the music industry finally fall into place to create musical results as the Combat Dubs project is formed in between Intrauterin Recordings-founder baze.djunkiii and the multi-active producer Sascha Müller who’s also been responsible for the labels’ cat.no. 005 way back in 2005.

None less than the infamous ILL_K is making his much anticipated return to Subaltern with a full EP on the imprint, accompanied by fellow producers Chad Dubz and Koobas.

Zygos has been non-stop killing it for a good few years now. Every dub he churns out is a madness and he is constantly pushing and evolving his sound for the better. We couldn't be happier to get the man himself back for his third release and second wax outing on the label. His signature techno / industrial influenced sound runs throughout the EP from the twists and turns of Rotation to the deep dark sound designs of Sick as a Dog. Big ups Georgio on this wikid wikid plate.

Navy Cut welcome Surreal to the label for his inaugural release! Hailing from Yorkshire, the no-nonsense producer and DJ caught our attention with his production skill and attention to detail. “Somnipath” driven by a dark 808 bass that progresses into an Eastern melodic atmosphere. On the flip side “Don’t Fall Asleep” is intense bass pressure with thick drums and even thicker vibes.

Okinawan talent City1 has been making some serious moves with his unique dark productions as of late and we are honoured to welcome him to the Subaltern family.

Here's a little story about this release on my label Dubs Galore: "When Muttley sent me this tune I though to myself: "Wow what a nice classic from the golden Dubstep Era", so I asked him when this was released - assuming it was, and he said it never was released. I immediately signed it, knowing it's such a great and timeless tune. I asked Quasar for a remix and here we are now, Dubs Galore 005 coming in STRONG!"

Rua Sound is pleased to announce we are back in action with our first release of 2019, and a welcome return to the label of Touchy Subject.
Fast becoming one of the go-to producers for rootsier takes on up-tempo 160-170 bass music, his second four-track 12" on Rua ups the ambition and knocks it so far out of the park it's broken windows in the next parish across.
The General EP veers wildly between neurofunk-but-actually-funky takes on dusty 90's boom-bapàla DJ Shadow on "Shudder" and 'Turnt Up', cavernous soundsystem workouts on "Seek and Find", and febrile halftime (just) jungle (barely) masterpiece in the shape of "General". In The Joker EP, Biome shows why he is right at the very top of the game. 4 incredibly made pieces of Dubstep mastery, beautifully put together into the first Deep, Dark & Dangerous release of 2021. Side A comes courtesy of Bristol resident Phaeleh. Opening as a straightforward digital steppas, the master of cinematic atmosphere flawlessly integrates Dubkasm’s live instrumentation and his own electronics to reimagine ‘Missao’ as a richly detailed futuristic odyssey while staying true to the tune’s roots style. Crisp handclaps replace the snares of the original, and cellos soar, as the piece layers and evolves with timbale fills and syndrum-like risers, before a monumental sub-bass kicks in.

For The Heads returns with the third installment of their vinyl series welcoming Germany's own Conzi to the imprint with his inaugural solo EP. This weighty 4 tracker is packed with head-down, nose-curling rhythms on both sides, making this an EP not to be slept on. Having featured on respected labels such as Hotplates Recordings and Foundation Audio in the past, and with support from the likes of Sicaria Sound, J:Kenzo, Ternion Sound and many more, Conzi is a name you will be hearing much more from in the very near future.
