The Last Ronin project was born from the encounter of 2 minds, geographically far but so close ideologically. It was a simple idea at first: 'Why don’t we put some beats up, sample some bits, and mix it up with nowadays sounds and technology and see what comes up?’ That’s basically how ‘Sleepers’ was born. After his amazing EP on Omerta Records, Bristol based Artificial Red delivers 3 tracks for 3AM Eternal 04. Side A "Mystics" brings the vibes right away! Ambient soundscapes mixed with Hardcore amens and deep subs. Energetic yet meditative B1 "Imy From The Fruit Farm" goes even deeper. Lush ambient pulling you in over subtle breaks, flowing atmospheric jungle. B2 "Dragnet" is another full on amen choppage tune but with subtle guitar licks and wavey atmospherics.

‘An Increase In Entropy’ is the third and final triumphant piece in the trilogy of the 90’s Jungle / Drum and Bass flavoured releases from ASC for Samurai Music.

Back in 1993, Aston was the one half to the Suburban Base act 'Rap and Aston' as well as part of 'Engineers Without Fears' and earlier 'The Blapps Posse', he then went on to form the hugely successful group 'The Freestylers'. He produced for artists such as Rebel MC and created some of the Sub Base classics which include Vertigo, More Time, Jeopardy and is now back with a brand new release of old skool inspired bangers to launch a new era of Boogie Times Records.

First up Aston introduces Pirate Jams with the the stunning ‘U Know The Score’, from the very first old skool lead stab and catchy vocal you know that here is a tune from a master of their craft, with all the years of experience and success condensed into one tune to make the definitive early 90's vibe with and updated twist. This has instant classic and future anthem written all over it, fingers crossed we get out and about to hear this at raves across the summer.

Next up is '4evr' alongside Quicklung, a bolder driving piece of old skool inspired genius, from the early days of rave almost an 89/90s Belgium import vibe to it for those that 'Know The Score' as the A side says!

North American bad boys Atic & Exosphere turn up the heat on US-based DJ Trace's 117 imprint. Trench Terror & Animals push sound design to the edge, with the aim to punish the dance floor. Available December 3rd on grey marbled vinyl.

Atra Bilis - latin name for black bile - is the artist name chosen by the Milan based composer, who develops his practice from the idea that the dark liquid is vital to the creative process: ” the black bile is specifically responsible for dark and cold moods, which eventually turn into melancholy. Everyone, in different ways, is affected by this on daily basis. Atra Bilis transforms this condition into something eternal, like sound”. Launch Into is the first release by the Milan based produce. His references span from the 90’s UK rave and jungle scene to the maverick breakbeats such as Coco Bryce and Seagrave, crafting his own path towards a futuristic journey: kinetic jungle drum kicks, gloaming synths and shudder baseline.

London based newcomer Bartholomew Kind combines deep emotion with disjointed rhythms on his debut release. Breaks 'N' Pieces Vol.7 opens with the sparse, emotive drum & bass of Memento while Sweetheart follows suit with rolling drum breaks lined with melancholic pads & yearning vocal samples. Sapien Beat takes the tempo down to a 2-step rhythm without compromising on poignancy. Opening the flip, Would You Do That To Me morphs from a halftime dancehall-inspired stepper into tearout jungle. The breaks continue on the UK hardcore influenced Feelz while Get Well Soon is a minimal, atmospheric builder closing the record with a message of hope.

The debut album from BCee gets a repackage for it’s 10th anniversary. All 15 tracks have been re-mastered for vinyl and combined in one place.

Black Barrel began his journey under the banners of Dispatch, with his first album on the label a defining part of his rise as an artist. The Russian native has since proven his weight. And following a host of EPs and his debut album "Last Frontier" in 2018, he's now firmly established himself from newcomer to a frequent part of set lists across the drum & bass genre. This is set to continue with his brand-new LP, which is about debut once again on Dispatch, with Black Barrel making new ground and building on the platform he created with the label's encouragement three years prior.

The full 12 track digital album entitled "Just Keep My Life" which is due to drop this September from Black Barrel sees him grow his production repertoire and dip into uncharted territories, proving that he's not yet finished evolving his artistry.

The vinyl version of the album contains four tracks, beginning with "More Love", introducing you to the vibrant tones of Black Barrel's production, which rolls perfectly into the laid-back sounds of title-track "Just Keep My Life". The breaks of "Bad Trip" add a bite to the track list and "It's So Crazy" pulls you through next, submerging you in its layers.

Second Drop Records follow up their first two sold out EPs with another slice of old school wizardry. Featuring label owners and long time Kniteforce artists Paul Bradley and The Lowercase, here you have a four track ep that shows their various talents to the fullest, with impeccable production and tracks that leap off the vinyl and wont sit still. C.Z. debuts on LA's Evar Records with the uncompromising Heat Index EP.

The Los Angeles-based producer, beatmaker and DJ sets a course through IDM, techno, jungle and trance to deliver five frenetic, emotionally-charged dancefloor cuts.

Over the course of an intensely productive career, Colby Zinser (aka C.Z.) has made music spanning genres like pop, rap, hardcore and jungle. As well as releasing music as C.Z., he's operated multiple aliases, including the prolific Ice Underlord. Drawing from a longstanding fascination with breaks, trance and the IDM of artists like Warp Records' Clark, he's developed his own rich and eclectic style of club music - a sound that crystalized on his 2020 debut album Hyperfocus.

C.Z. emerged from 2020 armed with a mass of new dancefloor tracks, freshly inspired to make club music a central focus, after years of smuggling techno, trance and breaks elements into the rap beats he was making for others. As he explains: 'It's great to come back to music and just make what I love, I don't want to be someone else's secret weapon, I want to be my own.' Heat Index refuses to toe a line, steering skillfully through genres and setting a tone that oscillates between club-fuelled euphoria, heartbreak and the looming threat of planetary crisis.

Opener 'Midnight' rattles along at a breathless 160 BPM, transporting you to a breakdown in the middle of a pounding hard trance set. Within a minute the rushing neon trance synths collide with huge, sub destroying kicks. The title track 'Heat Index' follows, with brooding pads bolted onto a tight breakbeat, leaving space open for the razor sharp, searching synth line.

Moving rapidly through the gears, 'Hurricane' is an aptly titled exercise in precision programmed classic jungle breaks, carried forward by bubbling earworm melodies. 'Retrograde' shifts the focus again - a pitch-black, dark, fast and seething techno track ripe for warehouses and dungeons, before 'Radial Lens', a melodic, anthemic set-closer built on a muscular, downtempo break.

C.Z.'s first appearance on Evar Records, the LA label founded in 2020 by Trickfinger and Aura T-09, follows a series of hard-hitting releases from Speed Dealer Moms, Limewax and Kilbourne, all artists who like C.Z., are able to traverse twisted electronica, club music and pure abstraction with ease. 'I want to help encourage a more open electronic music space, less pretentious, and encompassing all genres.' C.Z. says. 'It's an important goal of mine, and one the label shares.' Heat Index is a wide-ranging EP from a versatile producer, and a celebration of unfettered expression, for minds and dancefloors free from inhibition or genre restriction.

Calibre & Marcus Intalex team up with Fox for Signature Recordings number 20. Manchester born, Jamaican bred, Fox is a stalwart of the Mancunian music scene. Known as much for his Yardie inflected Mancunian accented Mcing as his sweet melodic singing. It is fair to say both tracks Run Away & Somethin Heavy are massive.

For Hooversound’s ninth release, Sherelle and Naina welcome San Francisco-based DJ and producer Chrissy to the family for the label’s debut album release. Coming out on the 27th October, ‘Physical Release’ blends elements of ravey techno, house, and jungle that have run through his previous work. The final result is an exploration of what our scene’s physical spaces mean and how they feed into themes of politics, family, connection and joy.

Speaking about the album Chrissy says, ​​"These songs were inspired by our scene's physical spaces: the warehouses, clubs, record stores, late night cafes, lofts, and friends' living rooms that let us connect to each other, experience the joy and wonder of dance music culture, and find our family.

I've seen these spaces gradually decimated by cops, property developers, cynical corporate brand partners, irresponsible promoters, and a global pandemic. The end result is a dance music culture that feels more online and disconnected, culminating in over a year without any physically shared spaces. Encouragingly, I've seen many in our community finally acknowledge a painful reality: our scene has failed to live up to its utopian ideals, and to protect, value, and uplift all of our peers. No matter how fondly we remember our first raves, the culture was and is broken, and it's our job to fix it.

So while this album may feel like a paean to a bygone era, it is more a reflection of optimism about the future: a hope that we can rebuild our scene and our communal physical spaces with better priorities and better values, so that everybody can experience the euphoria, joy, transcendence, and physical release of the dancefloor."

The album opens with a quote from artist, author, and transgender activist Edie Fake, who also designed the artwork for ‘Physical Release’. A fellow Chicago-to-California transplant, Edie’s previous work has dealt largely with physical spaces, including historical queer nightlife spaces.

‘The Pulse of Iron’ an apt reflection of modern progression into the unknown industrial world. It comes from Narrm based artist, Consulate who has found a home on Pure Space Records for our 10th label release. On this EP, Consulate delivers four tracks of dance music for the dystopian with a slick DnB sheen. On the A-side ‘Postrach’ the centres the record squarely within the realm of its influences, its intricate percussive patterns offset by industrial ambience. Here a half-time snare cuts through the abyss of ambience, while a floating topline carys you through dreary territories. Completing the A-side is ‘Spec 4’, a subtly staunch percussive track that is fueled by acute vocal sampling, weighty breaks and a hypnotic dub infused bassline. The flip side heads back into half-time territory with ‘The Fear’. Delayed vocal samples paired with dub-style stabs pulse in a heady but immersive rhythm. Rounding out the record is ‘Warlock’, a percussive track that proves the restraint Consulate has in his craft. Moody, sliced vocals skitter through delayed percussion creating a sense of tension. When it feels as though the storm is just about to hit, you are enveloped by fast-paced jungle breaks drawing you deeper into the eye of the storm. ‘Here beyond man’s judgements all covenants were brittle.’ Tracks written, produced and mixed by Consulate on Wurundjeri Land. Pure Space and Consulate both acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land and pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded. Pure Space Recordings is the label venture from the beloved radio show hosted by Andy Garvey, and produced by Mija Healey which has broadcast weekly on Eora Nation (Sydney) radio station FBi Radio for over four years. The label focuses on Australian music both for home listening and that made for the club.

"This is Urban Poetry's 2nd 12“ vinyl release and it combines old and new in a beautiful and timeless way. Being located in Berlin, the label has been releasing 170 bpm music and beyond for almost twelve years now. Both tracks, Cruel Culture's Hyperion and Elusive Elements & Silent Mind's Immortal, first came out in 2012 as digital only releases and were musical milestones for the label. Their sheer beauty and grace is still breathtaking today. In Cruel Culture's Hyperion, celestial strings and atmospheric pads open up the doors for a dance of the titans, to which the track continually evolves into other spheres.

D’cruze ‘watch Out’ The lost dubplates from rare DAT studio tapes that have been saved! The Legend of The Lost Dubplates. Prior to the original 1994 release of the D'Cruze classic 'Watch Out' our good friend and rave headliner Micky Finn requested a special version for his DJ sets, he went to the studio with D'Cruze and created a VIP dubplate special in the truest sense. Only held on dubplate by Micky himself and only ever heard in his sets it became stuff of legend. Fast Forward many years later a clip of it emerged on Soundcloud from a Micky Finn mixtape and the buzz for it started again. In 2021 Micky found the original DAT masters and supplied them to us for some restoration and remastering. While searching for the lost classic we came across a DAT with the writing Watch Out - Flex, a remix by Cool Hand Flex that didn't make it in time for the original release and has remained on DAT since 1994! So now, together with the original version and a totally unique 2021 take on this classic from Chimpo, finally we are able to bring this lost treasure to you! Grab yourself a piece of future history now whilst we have these available in stock, because these will never be repressed.

Exit Records expands on dBridge' sophomore album A Love I Can't Explain with two new interpretations by The Fear Ratio (James Ruskin & Mark Broom) and Kahn. In keeping with the label's ethos the artists were left alone to deliver remixes without any stylistic requests and as a result we have two tracks that are personal & uncompromising.

It opens with the uplifting groover ‘New Dawn’ with an amazing vocal from Hannah Fay. This track has the signature sound and style of Dead Dred whilst taking that sound forward ushering in a New Dawn of incredible new music from the D&B pioneer.

‘Space Without Time’ is next up, found from a long-lost DAT now re-mastered to perfection, this track delivers a full on amen jungle workout and a big 808 bass line with the classic sound we all have come to love.

Dj Beeno is a relative newcomer to old skool music, but an old hand in the Kniteforce world, with a few very strong releases under his belt on Kniteforce digital, and then on Kniteforce White (both EPs selling out in under two weeks), not to mention numerous high profile remixes. Dj Ham (aka Hamilton) is a Kniteforce original artist, one who was there from the beginning and was part of the original success of the Kniteforce label as a whole. His classic work includes Most Uplifting and Let Yourself Go, the second of which gets a huge remix on this EP! But that’s the last track on the EP, because as good as it is, it is eclipsed by Dj Hams new work. Give It To Em contains all the elements you would expect – an old skool sound, sure, but innovation and trickery to stun and amaze while forcing the dancefloor to explode. Likewise, Noise Up grabs you by the ears and will not let go until its had its wicked way with you. A big EP from a big artist, not to be missed…

Out Of Romford continues its run of classic remasters and remixes with this amazing proto-jungle EP. Featuring new remixes from New Decade and Liftin Spirits, its an unmissable slice of the original sound. Whether it’s turning in steamy UKG and house through his alias as M4a4 or shelling out peak-time jungle as DJ Jubilee 1997; the Irish based DJ & producer is known for championing a variation of sounds all with the same attention to detail and magnified personality. The artist's music is always continuous, hitchhiking through eras and parts unknown; now delivering a four-track EP fueled by warehouse raves, neon lights and celestial beauty.

‘Dubgan’ raises its ominous head with rattling kick-drums and sharp percussion as tension and momentum builds with the addition of a deep, bottomless bassline and frightening stabs. ‘Intelligence’ then opens with curious melodies and anomalous patterns, slowly changing gears before a cascade of ineffable energy.

The flip sees a change in mood as ‘Soul Shift’ takes us on a trip through the neon lights of the bustling city, a seductive tension between the allure and dangers that rest ahead. Malice Records was a short lived, but hugely popular gabber offshoot from Kniteforce Records back in the early 90s. Focused on a direct, uplifting but hard and nails sound, it incorporated big distorted kicks with furious amen breaks and ridiculous riffs. Malice returns for this limited release, with beautiful artwork and on its customary white vinyl, with original artist Dj Psycangle bringing two unreleased tracks, made in 1995, straight from DAT to vinyl, and two brand new tracks showing that while the years might have passed, the talent remains.

Divine Rhythm is an undisputed classic, and here we have a couple of wicked new mixes and an unreleased mix too! Dj Rap teams up with Dope Ammo and Jasmine Knight to give this classic tune a new, upfront jungle lick. Meanwhile, the Feel the Pressure mix is an old and much sought after remix finally getting its place on vinyl!

Vision welcomes bass music producer and two times scratch world champion DJ Ride from Lisbon.

"For the last year I've been working really hard on my favorite project so far. Enro is beats, hip hop, drum and bass, scratch and everything i want to say right now. A love letter for the dark and sweaty clubs we all miss so much. I produced, mixed and scratched it, and for me it's more than just a record, it's a mixtape, it's a beat tape, it's whatever you want to call it, it's the dopest thing I ever did."

Coco Bryce dons his DJ Y alias for his debut on Unknown To The Unknown’s Dance Trax series - 3 tracks of "off the wall” breakbeat-electronix taking in everything from gabber, jungle & tekno.

At 15 years of age Danny aka DJH worked at his Dad’s record shop at the weekends in Kings Lynn. He also built himself a basic studio in the back of the shop where he linked up with a local customer and started to make music. These tracks would form an EP called The Bass Project which went on to be one of the most sought after hardcore records, being offered for up to £750 a copy. Not bad for a 15 year old kid who made his one and only release back in 1993.

We have done a small repress of this mega Ellis Dee release that came out originally on his CAT Label in 1994 and was repressed by us in 2021. This has been sold out for a very long time but the demand has built up, so we have decided to repress one more time.

FSL007 drops from Corkwegian, Berlin-based producer and dj Ellen King AKA ELLLL. ELLLL has always brought a different cut to bass ans techno music and with Febreeze it sets out into the further realms of breaks, jungle and euphoric rhythms alongside a bass driven tech-house uk funky joint from College Driver G.E.O. Corp.

Freiburg based Italian stallion Enea releases his 2nd longplayer "Overview" on his own, soulful South-German imprint, Beatalistics Records.

The 10 track album once again showcases the versatile background of the former Bass-Player, who grew up on the picturesque Lake Constance. Having been a familiar name in the international Drum'n Bass scene for more than a decade, Enea now also takes us beyond the classic 170+ bpm rhythm structures to give us a proper "Overview" of his musical philosophy.

Comprising his typical softer rolling, Liquid based tunes like "Wonders" featuring label partner MC Fava, "Earthrise" with "Freebird" or "Moon" alongside the vocal talent Vavunettha, he additionally presents various influential styles throughout the album. "Interstellar Dub" and the dub remix of "Nuh Smile" featuring Kyrad from Switzerland lead us off the beat on dubby paths, whereas the title track "Overview", "Clouds" or the remix of "Fly High" with Meks Sample & El Tronic show his affinity for smoother Trip-HipHop grooves. By the way, you might recognize an organic and pulsating bass here and there, of course played by the maestro himself! This is warm and beautiful music for sophisticated and open minded souls. Enea!
