MasterSounds x HHV turntable weights are carefully designed to reduce a turntable’s noise floor and thus improve the musical soundstage. Users enjoy improved bass response, tighter mids and controlled highs as the turntable weight reduces unwanted resonance when placed via the spindle on top of a record. MasterSounds x HHV turntable weights weigh just over 400 grams (+/- 14oz), light enough to not cause damage to a turntable’s bearing system, but heavy enough to give sonic improvement.

MasterSounds x HHV weights have been tested on a large variety of non-suspended belt drive and direct drive turntables with great success. Pressing plants try to achieve quality control on every record made, however there are intrinsic issues such as dished and warped records. MasterSounds x HHV turntable weights help to combat this too. DJs love this; as it aids cueing a problematic a record prior to mixing and eliminates needle skip.

The 10 inch record has a long history dating back to 1947 and offered exclusively by Columbia Records at the time. The 10 Inch Record was revolutionary in that it offered a chance for labels and artists to present more songs on a single platter than previous iterations. The 10 inch record was originally marketed as a 'Long Playing' or LP record and reigned supreme until about 1954 with the advent and popularity of the 12 inch Record. Still and all, this proud slab of wax continues to live in hearts and bins of many collectors.

The 10 inch record is often offered as a unique keepsake for fans and a chance for an artist to release a superior sound quality recording when cut at 45 rpm. Deep uncrowded grooves!

Your record player needle also needs cleaning and care. Due to the air pollution caused by both external influences (traffic) and domestic factors (kitchen, smoking), a sticky film can form on your records over time. During playback, the stylus scrapes this deposit out of the record groove, which in turn creates a sticky film around the tip of the stylus, which in turn traps other dirt and dust on your record.

These deposits not only affect sound quality, but can even damage your favorite records. Nagaoka AM-801's special formula efficiently dissolves and removes any sticky substances trapped on the needle.

The tightly woven velvet on the brush surface is ideal for cleaning the sound grooves of the record and also enhances the cleaning effect. Fine dust adhering to the record is removed. In addition to the CL-120 velvet brush, a special brush is supplied to keep the cleaning surface of the brush clean.

Before cleaning the record, the label protector is screwed onto the record label from both sides so that it does not come into contact with water. In this way, record labels are preserved for a long time.

This product is a NAGAOKA produced and manufactured replacement stylus for the M44G, a cartridge widely used by DJs around the world. We have received many inquiries about a replacement stylus compatible with the M44G, since we had 'GD63-44G' in our lineup. After the production of 'GD63-44G' was discontinued, we reviewed the specifications and developed a new model. The 2M Series' engines, coils and magnets configurations are not identical: Red and Blue are identical, so are the Bronze and Black and so are the true mono variants 2M Mono and 2M 78. Likewise, 2M series styli are interchangeable within the below combinations:

- 2M Mono and 2M 78
