ETERNAL Crossfader is an inductive fade technology based on a magnetic control patented by Ecler. An extremely light aluminium screen (0,5 gr.) cuts the flux lines of a magnetic field created between two sets of coils. This electromagnetic modulation controls an assigned Voltage Controlled Amplifier that modifies the gain/attenuation of the signal. The contactless technology is combined with a custom high quality glides mechanism to offer a very smooth touch and succeed the most accurate Crossfader system.

The ETERNAL concept does have obvious advantages upon other existing Systems using optical technology. Unlike optoelectronic elements, the inductive concept is resistant to smoke, moisture, temperature and aging. Other electromagnetic systems found on the market are particularly sensible to the lateral room of the mechanism, and have heavier mobile elements (magnets or iron plates) that add an excessive weight to the crossfader. Such systems usually have a strange feel that can bother highly precise manipulations such as Scratching and Beat Juggling.

The WARM4 is a professional analogue rotary DJ mixer with four channels, developed and produced by ECLER in Barcelona.
It has 4 phono/line channels, 2 microphone inputs, classic sharp filters and a 4th order isolator. The WARM4 also includes a unique feature: an analogue subharmonics synthesizer that can be selected per channel and is specifically designed to generate and amplify ultra-low frequencies.
The WARM4 is ECLER's latest analogue rotary mixer, inspired by New York's disco "Paradise Garage", also referred to by François Kevorkian as the "Temple of Music", whose influence has been instrumental in shaping some of today's best clubs. Designed and manufactured in the Barcelona factory, the WARM4 is a mixer that keeps the classic structure of ECLER mixers in mind, but incorporates completely redesigned circuitry and mechanics. This ranges from new circuit boards that further improve the noise floor and dynamic range, to the rotary pots that are carefully hand-assembled by our production team.
Staying true to the innovative spirit since the first A4 mixer in 1971, ECLER presents a DJ tool never before included in a mixer: an analogue subharmonics synthesiser. Inspired by the original device from the "Paradise Garage" DJ booth, we have developed our own circuit that allows the subharmonic generator to be tuned to different frequencies so that the DJ can adapt it individually to the track and the respective sound system.

However, if the needle is dirty, the diamond , no matter how polished and ground it is – cannot exactly follow the deflection. It reacts too early or too late, distortions occur. Even supposedly clean records are covered with dust, partly visible, partly invisible in the groove. It contains particles of silicates, polymers and organic matter. These stick to the needle due to the high temperature during the scanning process. How quickly this happens is in Fig. 1. Already after playing a record side, almost nothing is recognizable from the needle in front of dirt. Figure. 2 shows the needle after cleaning with a normal, dry needle brush.
