The 2M Series is developed in conjunction with the Danish Industrial designer Møller Jensen Design – the same designer who designed the award winning MC Jubilee and Kontrapunkt series. Inspired by the facets of a diamond, whose contours gracefully trace the grooves on a record’s surface, the 2M’s handsome elegance establishes a great combination of form and functionality.

The name 2M was selected from among several ideas. We wanted a modern name that would be easy to pronounce and remember, and therefore an alphanumerical name was chosen. 2M means MM, which is the abbreviation for moving magnet.

Of course the 2M isn’t just another pretty face. It has been engineered to the highest standards and is congruent with Ortofon’s unrelenting commitment to providing the most precise and accurate reproduction possible without coloration.

The 2M series of cartridges features Ortofon’s trademark split pole pins, an invention that enables moving magnet cartridges to have a flat frequency response, as with a moving coil cartridge. The UDG Digi BackPack was specially designed to cater for the laptop-based generation DJ affording them maximum functionality with performance orientated style. A cleverly designed side entry compartment for a laptop up to 15.4 inch allows access without having to rummage through the main body of the bag. The spacious main compartment can hold an extra laptop or used for magazines/paperwork whilst in transit.
The front compartment features a detachable interface pouch and accessories organizer pocket. There are also 5 additional exterior pockets that provide storage for personal items, one of these has an ear bud access point with a hinged storage pocket so that you can listen to your mp3 player whilst on the go.

Longer lifespan: We want you to enjoy your Marshall product for years to come, so we build our headphones and speakers to be rugged enough to withstand everyday
wear and tear. We also design them with new features in mind so that you can get more out of them for longer. For example, our products are
ready for next-generation Bluetooth LE Audio technology including Auracast™, and you can download OTA updates so that your product has the
latest software. We also now offer authorised repair services (1) and spare parts for Emberton III through our website.
Materials: When switching to more responsible materials, we focus on recycled sources and better chemicals. 79% of the plastic in Emberton III comes from
recycled plastic (2) made from preloved products including used electronic devices and CDs. Emberton III is also entirely PVC-free because of PVC
being considered one of the most harmful plastics.
Packaging: Our packaging is designed to minimise its environmental impact. To do this, it’s been optimised for transportation, we've minimised the plastic
content and used materials from responsible sources. Emberton III’s packaging is 96 % paper-based with a recycled content of 77 % (3). We also
use vegetable oil-based inks made from soybeans instead of traditional petroleum oil-based inks.
